I stayed here for 1 day and 1 night, it was raining outside in the evening. Then lights of the houses light up the mountain at night, and I can see all of them as if the mountain has its own lighting system. As the we had big glass windows so we saw everything just by laying on the bed with blankets on. Amazing and Quite place.
If you are looking for a peaceful stay away from the market hustle bustle, this place is the best place to stay. Just close to 300m walk to panchpulla waterfalls, on top of the mountain with a lush green mountain view directly when you open the door of your room. The main attraction is the very good homely food prepared by the local family team and their lovely hospitality. We got pakoras, homely cooked maa ki daal, paranthas, tea, everything what you order. There is a tap outside your room which has the water directly from mountains to drink. There is a terrace to do meditation, exercise and walk in the peaceful weather anytime.
The only thing to consider is if you can walk around 200 stairs to reach there. My whole family just loved the place. Our go to go everytime we go to Dalhousie. Also, the Gandhi chowk market is just 3kms drive.
We stays there for 4 days. Amazing experience. But you just have to climb very much.the view from the top is amazing.staff is very good.and food is awesome.
Great location, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Gandhi chowk and subhash chowk. Food was undoubtedly amazing, be it veg Or non-veg. Kudos to ustad ji who is the cook. I would highly recommend if anyone is planning a trip to dalhousie. Last but not least, if possible explore Dalhousie on the bike, it's a paradise for bikers.
I have visited Dalhousie several times but it is the best place in Dalhousie in which I have stayed till date. Every member of my family enjoyed. It is the place for those people only who love peace and nature with beautiful view. Mr. Bhalla, the owner and his staff all are thoroughly good people. They serve nice hospitality. We will like to stay there again whenever we visit Dalhousie. Thanks to Mr. Bhalla for making our trip a memorable one.
It's a good place for holiday. Awesome food and comfortable stay. Very pocket friendly. Little causion of Stairs. More than 100 steps from parking spot.
Nice place to stay, we stayed there for 4 nights, Pocket friendly. Good food, only the maintenance was low. Could have been well maintained. Near to Punchpula and way up in the hills. Had to walk for atleast 250-300 steps to reach the rooms.
Best place for family.a home feeling.the food was delicious.cooperative staff.clean place beautiful view.it was a nice experience.it was my first time in homestay.iwill recommend it to all of u.plz visit ones
I couldn't find better place for the people who love peace and nature. The homestay matches its name "birds and chirps", it has stairs but u will forget that when u climb that stairs and reach the Lap of nature. The staff was very cooperative and hospitality was at its best. Though I never met the owner of homestay but talking to her make me as I know her very well due to her cooperative behaviour.the food was very tasty and service was excellent.i will recommend every one that if u have gone to Dalhousie for mental peace, do visit birds and chirps homestay
