Black Mango Resort

This is a good family hotel cum resort with good facilities service food and view. Staff is skilled and helpful they helped in arranging our sightseeing tour of renuka lake which was nice and serene. Good hotel to stay.

Bang on highway after himachal barrier in Kala Aamb on Chandigarh-Nahan highway. Wheelchair access. Car parking. Excellent food. Has a bar as well.
This complex has a Barista as well if one needs a coffee break.

Made very well.rooms were excellent. But service was poor. Lights were not working, took whole day to replace, tea cups were broken. Restaurant service was super slow.

Disappointed that they didn't have a charging slot for electric vehicles. Not even for slow charging. Also they don't give it a damn.

Really enjoyed staying at black mango during our bike ride to paonta sahib.
It was truly an honour staying with such professionals and humble people. They instantly became our friend and provided us with every minor thing and service we needed.
Dinner with bonfire in the lawn was memorable experience.
A true 5 star experience.

I stayed at this resort with my family and found out that this was a decent family resort with good facilities and best services. My room was comfortable and The hotel staff upgraded our room with a balcony room. Room service was fast, restaurant interior was modern.
Staff was supportive and caring.food was yummy tasty.enjoyed my stay.

Worst service at the barista spend 2500 and asked for another cup of water bikram who called himself a manager refused to give another cup. We also offered him money but he said no.this is the last time we made a stop at this place we dont recommend to stop at this place.

Worst Service at the Barista Bikram the manger needs training how to handle the customers.

Its awesome restaurant in kala amb himachal pradesh. Its side on NH-72 highway. It's one of the best restaurants in kala amb. Its has awesome quality. Its has best swimming pool in mango shape

Because it's gives used bedsheets, pillow covers, used and filthy towels and I found bunch of cockroaches under my bed. So guys please check before you sleep

Service is a big disaster. Ambience is the same as 15 year's back. No change as per the current requirements. Pool has been shut down. Lack of Parking space. Food is So-So.

Didn't like it at all. Might be better than other hotels in Kala amb but not upto the mark. Food is really awesome whatever you order. Not suitable for stay.

On confirmed booking also they did not allow early check in. We were with small kids and they did not coperate. Room lights and ac were not working.it took them more than 2 hours to fix the issue.there is no swimming pool as shown in pics.they had closed it a long time back but in there sites they claim swimming pool. They don't have any kind of indoor games or rooms for kids.actually they don't deserve to call themselves a resort, it's basically a type of Oyo room.it is very far from Nahan.it is at the beginning when the hills start.so no point in staying there.if you had to go to Renuka ji than it's a 2.5 hr drive from there.room service is good but food is too expensive. Parle g biscuit is of 95 bugs.a glass of milk for kids is of 90 bugs.they should revise there prices.we went there on 22nd June 2019

I went with my family to this resort for a few days and our experience was very good. The resort offers excellent services and amenities. The food quality is decent and the staff is very hospitable. They have a very well managed bar and a nicely maintained lawn.

Good food, one of the better options in Kala Amb. Moreover the unique name (derived from the name of the town) is in itself quite catchy

Rooms are renovated and giving a fresh and bright look. Spacious inside.staff are very courteous. I enjoyed my stay.

Such a waste going there. They demanded Rs. 1800 for night. That too without tea in the morning.

Very bad experience this time, no taste of soup, snacks, even in dinner we have worst experience

Worst ever resort.in fact this is not a resort from any angle. We reached at around 10: 00 PM. There was delay in check-in process. The receptionist was slow and took his own sweet time to check bookings. There is no courtesy offered by staff and yet they expect tip. I observed following which tantamount to 1 rating:
1. They charged for water bottle. We checked with the service boy, he said one water bottle is with room. However, still they charged for it.
2. No water glasses in room
3. Intercom was not working
4. Dirty pool. Can't think of taking a dip.
5. No activities or game room.
6. The gym equipment are not working and not cleaned.
7. They have one pool table which is in pathetic condition. No maintenance at all.

I don't know why they are calling in resort. There is nothing there which can be relate to resort. This is just a basic hotel for 1 overnight stay which you can find anywhere at a much cheaper price. Totally disappointed.

Beware, if you want to book a room there considering swimming pool in mind coz they rent out their swimming pool to outsiders from Rs. 200 per person. If you rent a room there, your family might have to share the swimming pool with 20 + outsiders guys which might be awkward for ladies and children. The swimming pool looks stunning in the pics but it actually is not. I hadn't seen any hotel uptill now which rent out its swimming pool not considering their own guest's comfort. The resort looks big in pics but its not. Rooms are good and staff is nice.
