Camp Oak View offered a wide range of activities suitable for all ages. Whether it was hiking, simply sitting by the campfire and stargazing, there was always something to do.

Peaceful & serene. Completely surrounded by Jungle all around.
A Lil away from city & crowd, this is a blissful stay.

Food & service can be improved though. But that's ignorable, as the place is definitely worth.

Great Stay!

The camp is located in the middle of the forest and it's fun to enjoy a quite sunset and gaze stars later on.

Food served is excellent… hot water provided for morning bath (yes it was required even if it is the month of June) clean towels, ample of pillows + blankets for comfort etc etc. It's packed with all the facilities a camp can ever imagine to have - it’s very much like a 5 star camp! 

Varun, the owner, is young, knowledgeable and humble person. This also reflects in the way he has set up the camp, the staff he has and the smile which all of them keep while taking care of the guests.

Rahul, seamlessly coordinated all the activities and ensured that we had a great great time, including our very first paragliding experience!

Best place to stay with awesome service i felt like home and staff is too supportive they prepared delicious special food for us without garlic and onion. View from our room is too beautiful and we have all the facilities in that room. Also they helped us to get a transport with less amount I really want to visit again with my friends. And it's very safe for girls they take care of girls safety. We felt safe in camp.

Perfect for your cost stay at this offbeat camp. Beauty at its best and the host, Rahul is such a gem. He will serve you best of the food, bonfire, music, provide you all the help you need to be comfortable. Two pets here, beautiful view of the valley is just awesome.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met and that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The property itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views. I particularly enjoyed delicious food, and the campfire. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for unforgettable camping.

It was really a great experience at camp oak view it was all green and calm specially the staff was very humble and helpful we didn't felt any sense of insecurity during night even we were all girls, all hygiene steps were taken care of in food preparations every tree house had seperate bathroom and heater which were all neatly maintained and the owner even helped us with exploring Bir and arranged a cab for our next stop, what we really appreciated was they prepared on our request curry without onion and garlic overall it was homely experience with fresh air and peace.

It was awesome stay. Everything was great.amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome.

Worst place i have ever been. We are locals and we are here for enjoy but before booking they accepted everything
After booking they denied about food that they don't have chicken but some how they managed. But food was pathetic. In totality worst place i have ever been. Pls don't visit and don't waste ur money by coming here.

Stay was good, as travelling with a toddler. They did offer their full support in terms of assistance. We really enjoyed our stay. Kudos to Rahul who manages the place and we interacted with him.

Location is far from the center, hey that’s what the camps are for.

Food was good, they organised bonfire as well after dinner.

Best part, they have Amazon and Misho both German Shepard are well. Trained, friendly dogs.

They take care of all your bookings from paragliding to arranging cabs, take yo for evening sunset views and if adventure is all on your mind, there's no stopping learning about possibilities from the owner Varun himself.

Get treated with a nice bonfire to spend timeless nights stargazing. I truly recommend you to ditch those city hotels and head for Camp Oak View! Phew.

Located in the middle of beutiful lush green forest, Camp Oak View gives you eye opening views of Himalayans from each tent they have, special thanks to Mr. Rahul for providing such a pleasent enviornment and thumbs up for their staff for their service, if you want to spend some time in peace and want to enjoy beuty of mother nature, you are at the right palace, go for it. You will feel like "Yaar yeh toh apne hi bande hai".

I didn't stay but I visit this property to take a look for my next visit. I found this property very nice, well maintained at very peaceful location in mid of nature & jungle. They have nice view as well. Mattresses were comfortable. I can recommend it to families & groups.

Overall it was a wonderful experience. Little bit on the outskirts but loved the location and the view. The staff was very quick and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Camp Oak View. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The staff, especially Rahul ji, was so considerate and went the extra mile to ensure our safety and comfort. The rooms were clean and had heaters, which was a great help during the cold winter nights.

We had requested some special arrangements like outdoor seating, a cake for a bachelorette, paragliding, and taxi services. The staff was quick to accommodate all our demands and made sure we had a great time.

When we planned our trip to Bir, we were sooo looking forward to stay in the Machan tents. The tents are built so beautifully that we wished we could extend our stay there. Camp Oak view is a perfect place for camping that is located amidst the mountains in an isolated place. The sound of water stream flowing and birds chirping early morning is all the calm that you need in your life. Rahul and Varun are extremely cordial and welcoming, heartiest thanks to them and the staff here. Special mention needs to be made for Amazon and Meesho ️ Hoping to visit again soon!

Camp Oak view offers a serene stay with gorgeous views. The machaan camps are worth experiencing and lavishly romantic. We opted for the cottage stay and it was very relaxing. The evenings close the bonfire with beautiful music are something to look forward to if a chilled out evening is desired after an activity packed day. Food is homely and the playful company of Amazon and Meesho is a cherry on the cake. Overall, we had a lovely time with the amazing service amid the cozy environment.

Me and my friend planing to visit mountains found Camp Oak View and Paragliding there. Many thoughts before travel about safety as 2 girls travelling but this is amazing place with best hospitality, feel like home. Camp team arranged Paragliding and trek for us. Camp is located away from town and bit off road before reach Camp but this never mind for such beautiful location.

A good place to have camping experience near Bir. Situated in an isolated place in the middle of jungle, one can experience nature in true sense. There are plenty of birds, insects and plants around. The camping site itself harbors a pear orchard. The owner and staff are humble and helpful. Food is very tasty and homely. People coming from outside the Himachal state can ask them to prepare regional dishes. The only drawback is that the road that leads to this camping site is very narrow and broken. Overall, a perfect place to spend time in the midst of with nature with friends and family. I would also discourage tourists to play loud music in the premises as it defeats the purpose of spending time with nature.

This camp is situated on the highest point in the Bir. This is the prettiest camp I have ever seen. Staff was very polite and professional. Food was also yummy. But you have to ask for the route. Because it is very difficult to reach. #must_visit

We stayed at this camp during our visit to Bir.for a night.and I'm definitely going to revisit this place for stay for a couple days.the experience was amazing, a peaceful stay to relax yourselves away from the chaos of city.the staff was very polite and courteous.they did everything to make our experience super comfy.i was amazed to see the level of services and facilities being maintained at this place. They even have 2 dogs at the place.they are like our bodyguards. Thanks Rahul for a superb experience.

Camp is 20 min drive from Paragliding landing area, bit of manageable off road, my car reached comfortably till Camp. And that much off road worth to reach such beautiful place at Bir. If you are nature lover, you cannot find such campsite anywhere,

Its an amazing place between the valley and its so peaceful around and there are many short trek around the camp which you can opt for on your own. These camps are very comfortable and luxurious with serene beauty.

This was the most wonderful experience in Himachal after multiple travels across the state specifically because of the family that I encountered at Camp Oak Village. This was my first experience staying at a camp with my best friend, and I was not sure how it will go. However, we can positively say we have never experienced such excellence in any hotel stay (even five star hotels). Our flawless itinerary was prepared by Mr. Varun Sharma making sure we spend the time of our lives in Bir Billing, while the staff at the camp assured we experience impeccable services. We bonded with Rahul Verma and Ishu at the camp, who never hesitated to assist with any request. They were very responsible in terms of arranging everything for us and making sure our safety was their utmost priority at all times. They also arranged an individual trek-guide Keshav for us who exceeded our expectations in terms of fulfilling our trekking experience. We would recommend this camp to families, friends, couples and even solo travellers as it'll be the warmest experience in Bir Billing.

Amazing the experience, stayed at Machaan Tent, hospitality was great, ankush taje us to small trek and t o sunset point. Bofire and setting of cap is like heavan, package include dinner and breakfast. Food was homely and tasty. We never expect such facilites in such location. One of best camping experience. We stayed in camps before but this is different experience from Machaan Tents to wilderness trek in evening to Hygine to food to location and best is hospitality. As we were driving towards camp, it seems off location and worried about the camp, but as soon as we reach there it like wow in forest of Bir. Varun provide best hospitality experience and very informative not only about Bir but other part of Himachal and country. On that day no other booking, but we never felt alone at Camp and feel safe. Keep up the good work.

The place is amazing! Location is aptly chosen for camping. The staffs were courteous and helpful. We stayed in peak winter time but they made our stay comfortable. Food was lipsmacking. Even they will take you for short trek which was quite refreshing. Highly recommended for nature lovers. Mr Varun is there to guide you if u r looking for paragliding or trekking. My daughter had an amazing time with Amazon (pet).

The hospitality of the camp is very good, they are friendly too and afcourse the morning in this camp made my trip memorable. And the best thing is that there is snow fall in the morning which is just like cheery on cake.

Blissful experience, Camping was the main highlight, location is perfect those who all are thinking of doing Paragliding. We reached there at 4 in the morning but thanks to Mr Varun for informing the staffs. Ankush came down to receive us. Staffs were so friendly, tents were well maintained, even the food was awesome. We opted for machaan tent, overall it was one of a kind experience. Surely I am going to visit this place again.

Personally I never stayed there but few of my friends stayed there during Bir Billing Half Marathon. They told me that the stay was comfortable, food was good. The camping site is bit away from main town that's why it is so peaceful. One can easily watch the milky way at night.

Pathetic food, poor services, very rude language used by the service providers, poor reasons for low service literally they didnt serve us chapatis/Indian bread because we didnt ask them to i mean what? This doesnt even make sense to me
They are not at all humble
No ice available
I mean they dont even have freezers for ice
What else can u even expect
They are so bad at handling a huge number of crowd and by huge i mean (8 people) i mean what?

Few examples of pathetic food incidents

Curry was dhai ki sabzi (curd)
Boiled eggs were not available which is the most basic thing
Stuffed indian bread/stuffed parantha had no stuffing in it
Water tasted a bit sour
They were not co operative at all

Now to the tents
I mean blankets were not arranged
They were thrown inside like they just dont even care

The road to get there is the main dealbreaker
I mean ive drived on some tough roads but this one was so poor
Even the tyre was burnt
And the stones are so slippery

I would like to conclude that
I am a travel freak and ive visited alot of places
From remote places to highly developed places
And this is the worst place i have ever been to.

Peace of mind, you can really feel your existence in the middle of nowhere. The best place I have ever been and seen. Calm, peaceful, beautiful, majestic and mind-blowing place.

A beautiful camp hosted by lovely people!

We went here off season in mid December and absolutely loved our timed here! The tents were clean and very well maintained. Everything, the carpets, quilts, blankets and linen were tidy and nicely arranged.

We were guided by Mr. Joginder, who left no room for complains and guided us smoothly throughout our stay in Bir - from paragliding to trekking and mountain biking! He was quite helpful throughout the trip, often, offering to carry our luggage when he saw us panting at minor inclines. A great person to talk to about the local lifestyle, food recommendations, etc.

The camp is a bit far from Bir, but they arranged a taxi from their hotel in Bir, which dropped us a few meters from the camp. In the evenings, they arranged a 10 minutes trek from the camp to a sunset point. Bonfires were arranged in the night. It just made for an awesome place to stay for our adventures at Bir Billing!
