Camp Rakkar

I stayed at Camp Rakkar for a week with my friends. I had a blast of a time here. The rooms were really comfortable, the service was great and the food was top notch. The butter chicken with the naan is a must try.
The view from the camp is breathtaking. You can see a lot of snow capped mountains surrounding the camp. The property has a lot of empty space which lets you take long walks and enjoy the weather of Dharamshala.

The host, Rajeev, is always present at the camp to look out for his guests. He was very welcoming and hospitable.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Dharamshala, I’d absolutely recommend Camp Rakkar. Kudos to the whole team. Thank you for an amazing experience!

What a place, beautiful and very intricately made. Every small detail in this property is really amazing.

We wanted to go to the hills and experience glamping. The camp is very beautiful and clean, the staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is an added bonus - they make the best Tandoori chicken and peanut masala - Ofcourse the rest of the food is also fab - it’s all freshly made on order. The host Rajiv is very warm and welcoming and takes care of all requests. Must visit
