A great Trek in a beautiful, secluded region of Tirthan. If you are visiting Jalaudi pass then you must visit this place. The trek is small but really adventurous.

Chhoie waterfall - a must visit place in your next visit to Jibhi.
You m8ght need a local to guide you to the place, after a short but a bit stip decend you will reach this hidden jem.

The tracking is steep and long but don't worry it is worth it when u reach there there is no looking back itnis new world

Beautiful and Peaceful place.
Small and easy trek from Tirthan village. Takes around 20mins. The trek is light steep at points. After reaching the top, the bathing area is separate, in order to maintain the sanity of the natural beauty.
The fall aslo has a spiritual importance, so it's strongly advised not to litter and make the place dirty.

Wonderful big waterfall this is, trek is not so difficult to reach here if you hike slowly, it took us one hour to reach the waterfall. There is shortcut to reach here through the fields but it's closed now due to large number of trekkers so take a little longer route which is around 2 kms but steep. But it's worthy after reaching up and see the waterfall in front of you. We took bath here for an hour and felt really fresh afterwards.

Disappointed. Its nothing like you see in the pictures now. Come only if you want a tough trek otherwise there is nothing special in the waterfall. You can not even bath under it.

More than the waterfall itself, I particularly enjoyed the hike to it. Although not a difficult one, certain stretch can be tricky when it rains, especially as you near the waterfall.

Please keep this in mind while visiting the waterfall:
1. Do NOT bath or enter the waterfall area where it is forbidden
2. Do NOT smoke either at the waterfall or on the way to it.
3. Absolutely DO NOT LITTER!
4. Avoid using speakers or play loud music along the way.

I saw a lot of packaged food garbage along the way. This waterfall is sacred as it is dedicated to Chhoie Devta. So please be respectful of him as well as Nature.

Trek of almost 3 kms or 45 mins slow walk. Easy trek which can be done by kids as well. Avoid when it is raining.

A bit of hike all it takes to be here. So if you are visiting please take all the upward route to reach the waterfall unlike us who chose the downward route and got delayed by 15 mins. Usually it will take around 25 mins of hiking. Cheers. Happy climbing.

Nice trek but not recommended for senior citizens unless very fit. (Steep climb on & off). Waterfall is very serene n cool surroundings.

Awesome waterfall but to reach there you have to track for around 45-60 Mins depends upon your stamina.after reaching there you will feel blessed

Chhoie waterfall is a major attraction in the Tirthan Valley. The waterfall lies Great Himalayan National Park and calls for a steep trek to the place.

Easy trek. The only bummer is that the main waterfall area is barricaded but there is another pool below where one can enter and enjoy more frankly. Don't get stuck to the main waterfall. The water is cold but worth a dip in the pool below.

It's lovely, how can it not be.
Only problem is by the time we reached, it was as crowded as it can be. But ignore that.it's beautiful ️️️

Most beautiful waterfall. Although the track to the place was tough. There is a small stall for tourists to have an appetite. It's refreshing after the trek. So enjoy the nature in its ambience

Chhoie Waterfall in Tirthan Valley can be reached through a short trek of 3 km walk that begins from Village Nagini which takes about 1 hour. The waterfall is named after local deity Chhoi Mata and locals come to worship the goddess at one of the trees before the waterfall.

The hike up here is worth it. The first half of the hike has a lotta steps and is quite uphill, but later it becomes easier and more interesting. The waterfall itself is gorgeous and thankfully doesn't stay too crowded.

The way to the waterfall is a medium intensity trek, can be done by beginners but with trekking shoes. Carry your own water, atleast 1 litre per person. Please don't throw empty bottles and other garbage there. It is a sacred place.

Even though it takes time to get it but once you get it, you will feel really refreshing. There is no direction sign, which could have been very useful.

This place is so beautiful it's a hidden gem in Himachal. Choi or Chhoie waterfall is a major attraction in the Tirthan Valley. One needs to climb the steep rocks and pass through steep mountains, dense forests to reach the Chhoie waterfall. The sound of the Chhoie waterfall’s crystal clear stream falling on the rocks took the breath away

I love this place because it is away from crowd. With nature touch, it become more beautiful place. Must visit waterfall in summer.

Around 30 to 40 minutes of trekking before you reach the waterfall. Trekk is kind of hard and steep so better to take some water with you. The view around the waterfall is totally worth the effort. It is isolated from the main road so its good sit there and enjoy the calmness for a little bit.

Reach by taking a bus from old bus stand or take a cab from the same place.
Half an hour hike leads you to two ponds one after the other and a waterfall which is around 100ft, very picturesque and fascinating. Take a dip during summers, wash you face in winters?
Difficulty is moderate as it has thin trails and edges.

Loved the waterfall and the pathway to reach the waterfall is so surreal. We get the best view of the valley and the people we met on trail were so kind and loving. I got a chance to visit the place because of our teachers as they wanted to organize a picnic for us that also for free. It was a lifetime experience and just loved the vibe of the place? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️? ‍️

You will get to know the trekking and the atlast the beautiful waterfall.beware from the dog.we don't find any harmful from the dogs though they were our trekking guests

A must visit place in Tirthan valley. There is a beautiful and serene trek of 20-25 min to reach this place and waterfall is absolutely treat to watch.

The trek to this waterfall is quite tough and rocky way. But the view is speechless.

Awesome waterfall bit it's a small ten minute trek from the village down the hill. But it's quite worth it. I've seen a lot of waterfalls but this one is so surreal. Please visit this waterfall if you're nearby. It's much better than the Jibhi one.

Choi water fall located at tirthan valley, before 4km from gusaini village.it's 45minutes walk to water fall from the main road, highly recommend must visit.

A wonderful hike through pristine nature. Crystal clear pool. Great place for swimming in summer.

It's a short 5km trek from Sharchi road. Nice place with very low human intervention. It's not commercialized yet and offers a very peaceful experience. Local village dogs will be your guide to reach this place in case you decide to not take a guide. (I'd recommend not to take one) Don't forget to feed them:)

Its a treck where you need to climb for 1.5 Hrs. You will find heavy flow of water after March when snow starts melting. In winter flow is moderate but taste of water is inimitable.most pure water you must have ever tasted.

Very quite place. There is little trail that u need to take inorder to reach to falls but it's worth. Take a route guide from any locals because place is somewhat confusing as there are many ways which is splitting into two.

A beautiful waterfall located at trithan valley, near banjar, himachal pradesh. A little trek that goes through a village. The view is breathtaking. Water is extremely cold, be it summers or any other season. It is amongst one of the most beautiful place which is not polluted by mankind as villagers there are aware of their surroundings. My Only request would let’s keep the natural places in there natural form and not pollute them.

Small trek of around half hour.finding water after a trek is simply a satisfying experience. Please don't take bath there, water is directly pumped to villagers. Just go, relax and contribute in sustainability.

Nice place for a day hike, not very crowded. You might feel alone while walking upto it but it's worth the end. Lovely place with nice cool water and wind. There are a couple of shops at the start of the hike so basic supplies like water and candies can be purchased, dustbins have been installed nearby too.
Washrooms are not easily available so make sure you're prepared for that. Going up, staying for some time and coming down will take no more than 3 hours if you're not too unfit.

This place, Chhoie waterfall in Hidden between huge mountains and can be reached by walking on a very steep trek for about 1 hr. Though the trek is a bit tiring, but once you reach this waterfall, you will forget all the pain that you have had while reaching here. It is a very sacred place for the local people and people come here to pray every Sunday. There is a Tree that you will cross just before this Waterfall, which has lots of things stuck inside its trunk, so do not get scared, as that is the local people rituals.

One of the least explored waterfall in Himachal in Tirthan valley. It was an amazing experience. It comes under the great Himalayan national park

The trekk to the waterfall is really treacherous. If the water is less. You might find it not worthy enough

Chhoie has a small trek before one can experience the Cascade. The trek is not much tuff and is relatively small compared to treks around.

This waterfall is aesthatically peaceful and clam. The sound of falling water sings a melody that vanishes the daily stress from your body and soul. To reach there one should do a 1.5km trekk start from kathi mud. Please take a guide with you if you never trekked in your life. Cause the way is really steep and narrow. But the end view removes the fear out of you.

Great walk up from the road. The fall is beautiful and spray is all over the place. You get wet instantly as you apply the fall. Wonderful place to spend a afternoon if in the thirthan valley

You will have to walk about 2 hours to reach near the falls. The place is neatly done with wooden lovely small bridges over the stream which is flowing down from the water falls. The area at the water falls is also nicely paved with stone and cement. So it appears like pool where you would feel like swimming. Surrounding the falls its deep forest in all direction. Ambiance is wonderful. But to my opinion nature should be kept at its own beauty without any interference of man made beautification which makes it a little out of tune. But nevertheless we liked the place quite a lot.

This waterfall looks marvellous and you should definitely visit this if you are traveling to Tirthan Valley.

People visiting this absolute wonder need to be very careful not to litter there because that was something very sad to see!

Roughly 3 km walk from the main road (Village Nagini). The trail is easy with few rocky areas in between along the nallah that originates from the fall.
The fall is named after a local deity (Chhoi mata) and the locals pray at one of the tree just before the fall. The fall itself is magnificent and you could walk all the way up to the fall for a good shower.

A little gem in Tirthan Valley. A small track is going towards this place. Water is chill like a hell. A must visit place in the valley.

Find the way to go up. Do the 30 min trek. Lungs will pump.but at the end I'll see the mini paradise. Find a special place with isolated pond and take a chill dip. And u will always remember it. Cheers.

Trek is so beautiful untouched Nature.got so much piece after reaching at waterfall.mind relaxed and forget all worries vibes there was really spiritual

It's a nice place. Not allowed for bathing. It's preserved for drinking. Good one but not worth to climb around one hour for this place

Chhoie waterfall is one of the highest waterfall i have ever seen in himachal pradesh. Its only one km trekking distance from the main road. I have been here twice. Its a very beautiful place. In summer it's a Perfect tourist destination.

The trekking starts with cemented stairs passing through a village. Then the raw path comes, although the trek is a small (around 3kms) one but is quite adventurous at few places. Also markings are not adequate.
The waterfall is a small one and not at all crowded. Bathing is not allowed and locals are very strict about the waste that tourists leave there.

The place is isolated from population and about 30 minutes trek from nearest civilization. This very beautiful and peaceful place with the mind boggling view of Chhoie Waterfall. If you're in Thirthan Valley so do consider this in your checklist. Hotels are limited in this region as compared to other commercial tourist destinations in Himachal. So better to book the accommodation in advance. Trek is difficult but when you reach the destination it worth your sweat.
