Club Mahindra Dharamshala Resort in Himachal Pradesh

The worst hotel I've ever experienced in my life club Mahindra is good but this hotel is a bad drawback for this property the rooms are not worth at that cost.
There are more better options in market then this hotel

Pros.
1. Five star for staff behaviour and co operation be it reception or kitchen.
2.cleanliness every where.be it room, lobby or any other corner

Cons.
1. Room are poorly lit
2. Very small property in comparison to other resorts of club
3. There are other good resorts around which are better placed in terms or location and mountain view
4. Didn't even provide microwave and utensils in kitchen.though they have fairly big kitchen in the apartment we had but surprisingly nothing was provided except tea kettle

We had an amazing stay at Club Mahindra Dharamshala. Our stay was from 23rd November to 29th November.
Beautiful weather and lovely people!
The staff here has been very friendly and courteous. Ms. Anchal and Mr. Shekhar in particular have been very helpful. They are always cheerful and responsive.
The sanitization and cleanliness of the resort is also brilliant.
We got the best room with two full length windows, the best view in the resort.

Club Mahindra Dharamshala is not up to the mark. The location and the view from room is not good as only few rooms have view of mountains. The food combo is very costly and not in sync with their claim of affordable holidays for 25 years for members. The cost of food is high across the resorts and sadly most of their resorts are in a place where you don't have any other options.

Stay was comfortable and room was neat and clean with maintaining hygiene. There are unique attraction with ducks and rabits for kids. Property is well maintained by upkeep and clean standard. Food is good and testy. We highly recommend are friends. Special thank subhash and team they provide d comfort stay.

Good resort with amazing staff. While it is small in size when compared to other club Mahindra properties, but every inch is rightly used.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Housekeeping and Room Services are fabulous. Housekeeping team under Mr Subhash Sharma is giving their best.
Restaurant Services by Mr Thanigaimalai, Mr Chander, Mr Vivek, Mr Pawan, Mr Mandeep, Miss Anchal under Mr Pankaj are excellent and value for money.

Happy Hub Manager Mr Shashi Kapoor kept our children busy in indoor games as well as outdoor games and improved the quality of their games.
Front Office Manager Mr Mandeep Sharma with his Team gave valuable information regarding sightseeing. Arti and Decorations on Ganesh Chaturthi was well organized by Front Office Team
Overall services of the resort are best among all the resorts we have visited.
One to one interaction with the members is the reason that they are able to understand the need of the members and services are at par excellence.

I am a club Mahindra season blue member. Sharing my genuine experience with club Mahindra. So it started with A warm welcome by the hardworking manager (subhash ji) was given as he described how he fought with some other client to get us the room (which we are already entitled as per our membership plan). I mean if you have to fight to get ur club member their entitled room it's really shameful and pathetic.so finally the room which we were given after such a " fierce fight of our manager with unknown entity" was on the first floor. My 80 years old parents and three years old daughter need to climb everytime they move despite the same category rooms were available on ground floor and were vacant. The generous manager could have easily allocated those ground floor rooms to us but afterall we were honoured club Mahindra members how can we have such privileges. Later a staff on the pledge of anonymousity revealed that those rooms are for non members/last moment check-ins to oblige/ lure them up and possibly a sign in (and yippee membership sold!). Anyways Celebrated my birthday there (no choice as already paid a hefty amount for the precious membership and moreover ever rising annual subscription fees in addition). I was charged 500 rs for some dried petals and 12 balloons only (not even a petty towel art which is so common in even cheapest hotels) moreover they happily denied us cake and said you buy ur own because the local bakery give the resort the cake on higher rates (what a lame excuse.do we look dumb?). Everything there is paid. Not a single penny benefit to members. I still can't find out for what I paid 2.5 lakh rupees for.a membership? Or for my manager to fight? Rooms are pathetic.old furniture, local toileteries in plastic soap dispenser, broken spring mattresses, no kid activities (only for display) if you touch anything.u have to pay. Location of the resort is horrible.its a one way road.if you go to market hardly 100 mts then you need to travel all the way from byepass to re-enter the hotel.so exit at ur own risk. The travel desk is very helpful and very politely charge their commission if you book a taxi from them. Their price was 3k for a full day booking which I got for 2200 from local travel agency. These gentle people are literally scavengers who want to extract money from you as soon as you check in.the sight of the staff made me nervous. I literally avoid entering the reception area because as soon as you pass by someone or the other will come to u with a scheme to extract money. I pray to Mahindra why u sold ur membership to so many people when you could not provide them room/ services/ incompetent staff in return of member hard earned money.how much money Mahindra will make by fooling us? Please Mahindra take away your membership and return my hard earned money enough of pityful cheap and irritating drama of your incompetent staff.i. Literally fed up of all this.most humbly Subhash ji my apologies I tried to motivate your staff with good review as you requested but can't stop myself for writing the honest review.please anyone don't bother club Mahindra.you will regret as I do

Good hotel in Dharamshala. Must provide washroom facility for drivers coming from outside Dharamshala.

This is single small and old property of club Mahindra in this region. No other cm property available in radius of 200km. But location is great convenient for exploring Kangra, Palampur, Chamunda ji, Mcloadganj and Naddi.

One less star is for exterior of this hotel although it's only 13 years old property but it looks like 30 years old.interior is good, staff is well mannered but food quality is average.
Worth stay for 2 days.

Do note the rooms are small as the property is small but overall the abeience is nice like a quaint home stay in the hills by the roadside

A place for comfortable stay.food is also good and the staff is very polite. However, I saw a big spider at floor of the room. They need to apply some pest treatment in their property.

Property is old, but what makes it a suitable stay is the courteous and polite staff. Food is quite well prepared. Overall best suited for family’s with children!

While the resort itself is quite small, and there are not a ton of in-house facilities, what I absolutely loved is that they are so friendly and helpful to ensure you have a good time. They have connects with other outfits that do a bunch of things, like treks, overnight camping, river side picnics, paragliding, we were in the resort for 5 days, and felt all the days were so packed. Just lived the place.

Nice place on the main road. 1 bedroom room accomodation is good but the studios look bit cramped up.the views are stunning from the garden. No lift so ine has to take the stairs to go up the rooms. Not too many facilities. Near to Gyuto monastry, Norbulinga monastry and Tapovan. The staff is very attentive and courteous. Please visit Kangra fort, Tapovan, stadium Norbulinga and Gyuyto monasteries.

Loved the resort. Such a beautiful structure. All persons working in the resort have friendly behaviour. The scene of mountains is very epic. Loved the food of the restaurant. Each and every dish was superb.
If you want do adventure activities they will make you do it perfectly.
The rooms are beyond your imagination. Beds are really very comfortable.

Located in the midst of a city, unlike other Club Machines properties. The resort is small and has very limited number of rooms. The kid's activity area is also very small and very close to rooms on the 3rd floor (which makes the noise unbearable for the room guests).
The staff is helpful and courteous. You may choose this property if you wish to stay close to the city and use this place just for lodging and boarding.

Beautiful place.located slightly away from Mc leod Ganj but then it's is serene and located close to Norbulingka institute and Gyuto Monastery. Staff are warm and cordial. I dint try the food though since we had all our meals outside. Rooms are comfy and airy. I won't hesitate to stay there again if given a choice however next time I think I might just stay at the zostel.

Brilliant way to conserve a dying art, a dying culture plus the tour is free and quite detailed. Though it isn't wheelchair friendly but it's worth visiting the place to appreciate the amount or work that goes behind the art pieces. There's stores and libraries and cafeterias on campus plus the architecture of it is ecstatic.

The hotel is okay compared to other Club Mahindra properties, but we highly appreciate the hospitality of entire staff. Everyone is warm and welcoming and always there for whatever you need.

Dharamshala partially qualifies to become a tourist destination. And when you make a point to stay in Dharamshal your stay should be memorable. Going as per reputation of Club Mahindra this property is one of the smallest property I have even been to. The very entrance of the Hotel (one may like to call it) does not apeal you too much. The property has limited space and lacks to qualify in the catagory of resort.
What is good about it. If you are lucky enough to get the mountain facing room you will find a good view from your window. The food of the hotel is good however in terms of overall experience you will feel you have been over charged. The best part of this hotel is the staff is highly motivated and they try to make of for the constrains which this property has.
What is not so Good. If you are looking for extravagant experience please refrain from to going to this hotel. It has capability to provide you a lazy stay in your room with limited scope of activity within the hotel.

The resort is located few kilometres before Dharmashala. On one of the sides of the resort, you can find breathtaking view of Himalayas.

The resort is a medium property, if you compare with other Club Mahindra properties, but they tried to accommodate lot of outdoor and indoor games, to keep the members engaged.

Let me begin with positive - a very courteous, vigilant and ready to serve staff.
And now the negatives -
They didn't have washroom sleepers in such a harsh winter, no shampoo and other toiletries.
The bed cushions are totally worn out as you get immersed in the bedding making the sleep absolutely uncomfortable.
The room charges are way too high as compared to other properties in near vicinity.
The billing software cannot accommodate the name of the Company and cannot mention the GST number.
