Had the most horrible experience.
Went to Cool talk cafe 2 days in a row to have food and today when me and my friend had dinner there again, we asked for water. To which the guy at the counter asked us if we want a bottle and we denied asking for regular water. The guy behaved really bad and said that we run a business and we can’t give water for free. His stature and tone was extremely rude. I have been to so many restaurants at so many different place and countries and I have never got a response like this for asking for water to drink. I still can’t believe that we live in a world and time where someone denies to give water despite having a tap and RO in the kitchen. Simply pathetic!

I went to cool talk cafe, and I was shocked when the person who manages it denied to give water to me and my friend.
We really liked the place and for 3 days went for food to cool talk but I was shocked with the words that came out of his mouth while he denied to give us water.
Water is the most basic thing how can one do such a thing.
How can a person who knows nothing about hospitality run a food place.

Very disappointed. This was my second time attempting to sit and have a good experience. The music is loud and regardless where you sit the smoke from people smoking at the other end where it s open, spreads throughout.
I ordered a Masala Chai with soya milk with no sugar and honey on the side.with no warning I was then was charged for the honey. I have been here a month and this was the first time I was charged for small amount of honey and I have been to many places here in Dharamsala. My chai cost 100 rupees. I confronted them and they did not seem to care that I was disappointed and that I said I would never came back. I do not recommend the place, there are so many wonderful places where the food is exceptional and the owner is aimed to please. I highly recommend The Seeker Cafe! Cheers.

I came to cool talk 4x because that’s how much I loved it. The staff is so kind and the food is amazing and so is the coffee. They’re very fast and amazing.

Lovely place slightly off the main strip in dharamkot so it's nice and peaceful. Friendly staff and a lovely relaxed vibe. Varied menu. Morning glory breakfast is amazing and they open at 8 which is not that common in the area so can be handy and they stay open all day and evening. I'd say breakfasts are the best thing inc the veggies and their sourdough toast. The enchilada was not so good and sandwiches are ok.

The best coffee in Dharamkot! The person in charge of preparing the coffees has a great treatment and a delicious cookie comes next to you! Very well located, very close to Tushita.

A local resident advised to visit this cafe and now we recommend it! Delicious, fresh food! Friendly staff Ready to continue gastro acquaintance. Indian and Israeli was the most enjoyable experience in Dharamkot

We love Cool Talk Cafe! Excellent choice and quality of food (highly recommend their pizzas, they’re delicious!) grab yourself a homemade cookie with a hot drink, you won’t be disappointed! Service always given with a smile.an all round great place

Quiet expensive. I ordered without garlic and although you could taste the garlic and see it the person would not admit it and just say ok thank you see u later. There are better places in Dharamkot like evergreens e.g

Had a lovely chai masala and the butter chicken was just delicious. Right next to the pine forest, it is in a lovely quiet location, and the atmosphere is great.

Great breakfasts here. Also, good espresso based drinks and matcha lattes. The owner is super kind, and gives excellent service. We will be back on our next trip.

One of the best coffee places in the village. Sonu and Moutan, are excellent baristas.
This is a quite place tucked away close to the forest. The 'Good Morning Dharamkot' breakfast special is highly recommended, and it's available all day.
