In rainy Dharamsala Try crepes, waffles and coffee On a clear day, the atmosphere is bright and clear. Rainy days have the same atmosphere as rainy days.
What is the place about? Went for brunch when in McLeod Ganj. It is a vegetarian restaurant which we went for brunch. You can also find books on Tibetan Buddhism by different schools which is pretty cool.
Food and drinks We had apple cheese and chocolate banana crepes which were really good. We also had kombucha and scrambled eggs which were made well. Overall, quality of prep is good. Prices are also very reasonable.
Crowd and ambience The place embodies the concept of wabi sabi in its decor. It is a cozy place with a nice view of the mountains. There's Tibetan prayer songs playing in the back which gives a peaceful vibe to the place.
Complaints? Nothing major. It's a nice place to chill for some time in McLeod Ganj.
We came seeing the great reviews but left feeling that it was just about ok. The prices are quite reasonable. The quiche had a generous portion size but taste was ok. Same with the mushroom and egg crepe. The Nutella and banana crepe was good. The place is on first floor and the interiors are cozy with lots of books and different seating arrangements.
Vegan cafe in McLeod Ganj, they have vegan egg, vegan mayonnaise and almost everything European vegan would miss during a trip in India. Food is very good, however the portion does not reflect the price, i.e it's more expensive than local restaurants, but that's expected from a vegan cafe for tourist. It's still 3-5 times cheaper than European price
We were here for breakfast.it's a calming place and the owner-cum-chef is an amazing soul to talk to.we tried the shakshuka, mix fruit crepes and apple tea.everything was worth the price
Food is delicious and the place is really cozy and relaxing. I visited during November and due to the location of this place, it's pretty cold. I recommended having a nice hearing for customer might be helpful
Great and healthy food. Theme of the hotel is towards healthy veggie food. Food based on egg is also available. Whatever we ordered - lemon&ginger tea, waffles, pancakes, sweet potato fries and avocado salad were all top notch. Worth visiting the place again & again.
One of my favourite places in McLeod Ganj. If you want a charming cozy place- This is it. The Tibetan lady owner is very nice.and kind. Vegan stuff available also.lots of Buddhist literature also in the library. Please enjoy!
Lovely place run by a mother-son duo. Healthy veg and vegan options. All.the food we ate was amazing - tempura, avocado salad, mushroom soup, carrot cake, waffles and crepes for the kids.
Amazing collection of books. The ambience was very cosy and vibes quite positive
I started my trip with this place & i think that's why my trip went awesome blossom. Firstly i must appreciate the staff of crepe pancake. They are also polite & humble. Their speciality is they serve everything 'vegan', that is highly impressive. We ordered cucumber sandwich & banana- Nutella waffles & i must tell they are the reason why i love waffles. They really proved how vegan food is soooo delicious. And the decor just took my breath away. I can spend my whole day at this place. The place is really cozy. They have small library & cozy sitting corner. MUST VISIT PLACE ️.
Cute little cafe hidden somewhere in the bylanes of Mcleodganj. I'm not a fan of pancakes, but their's are worth a try. I absolutely loved their peach kombucha tea. The hosts are very warm, and the view from the window is worth everything. The cafe is very cosy, has books and a cute doggo for company.
Cutest little cafe in meclodganj recommended for light and healthy meals. The staff is very nice. Lovely smile on everyone's face. Thankyou for clicking endless polaroids for us. Freshly prepared food. Vibe is very peaceful and full of positivity. Shakes/smoothies were really nice along with everything else on the menu.
Good food. Probably the the first floor is coziest place in town. Quick service and all made fresh. Great Mexican food and veg Sushi. I love coming here. Never had a bad experience.
Probably the most cozy, sweet and deliciously place in McLeod. I've been to almost all the good and over heard cafe', but this one made me want to write a review as I'm sitting in the cafe. When I first came into this cafe, I just felt like to take a nap here. Literally. Coming over to the food. I ordered peach kembucha, butter tea, lemon ginger honey tea, pancakes with ice cream and Nutella, waffle with fruits and maple syrup and their momos. And I swear everything was very good in taste. The taste and quality is really truly justified as per the prices given. There are cafes but this cafe really gives you the peace you come looking in McLeod.
F. Y. I: - Avoid going to this cafe if you're in any sort of rush. Just visit this cafe. Sit there in just enjoy.
Overall a decent experience. Food was good, place had a great ambiance, service was slow. Ordered 4 things: 1) Banana Nutella Pancake - 3.5/5 2) Mushroom Pasta - 4.5/5 - It would have been perfect if it was a more creamy 3) Blueberry Strawberry Almond Milk Smoothie - 4.5/5 4) Apple Kambocha - 4/5
Nice little cafe in mcleodganj where you can have decent waffles and pancakes with homemade sauce. They also have fresh juice to go with Your meal. I loved the decor and seating. Perfect place for brunch on a pleasant day.
Nice little cosy cafe. Beautiful dining setup. Went there for breakfast. They had only person in kitchen, so we were asked that we can only order waffles, pancakes, tea, coffee & shakes. Whatever we tried was great in taste.
Wow. If you are looking for home food n ready to taste different cusine for your palate this place is for you. Loads of books to read n even for kids. Takes time fr preparation but when on plate, u will love it. Indians who love spicy food will not advice them. Loved bruschetta. Amount they serve you is whole heartedly. Fruid salad dipped in honey is differnt.
I make it a point to visit this small but beautiful cafe whenever I visit Mcleodganj as the ambience is just wonderful. You can see the ladies cooking in their home kitchen and serve you with the most fresh and delicious food which is reasonably priced and a delight to you holiday. A must visit. Waffles with Ice Cream and Kombucha is a must try.
This was an amazing find. Very easy to locate on Jogiwara Road.
It has two levels. One below, small and cosy and another on first floor in which you can stretch your legs a bit.
I had gone there hearing about waffles. I hate the waffles that i have eaten in delhi but one look at the waffles here and I was turned. I returned the next day to re-eat.
Banana smoothie was super yum and wait for the Jasmine Tea to cool down a little bit as that is when you will have the most flavour. The kambucha was a bit too strong for my liking despite my best efforts.
The staff at the below level consists of a cheerful boy from Sikkim who is very helpful.
I had heard do much about this place mainly from reviews. But somehow I was not satisfied with the food. I ordered crepe pancakes and carrot cake. Although pancakes was good but the cake was awful. It was bitter and cold and didn't seem fresh.
Great value food with a home cooked taste. Shanti, library-style dining room with a collecting of Buddhist literature, travel literature and fiction. Vegan options and gluten free options. Kombucha, coffee and the chai is also good here!
Just the best healthy place! Come to enjoy a nice meal, (really good rolls) and a relaxing moment into a calm, peaceful and cosy place. Perfect for working on your studies or to read a book. I recommend
Super quality food, selfmade Kombucha, very clean place. They offer vegan dishes, also vegan bakery. Upstairs there are lots of books. A really nice and cozy place to hang out!
The menu is quite more diverse comparing to the other places in town, they have a lot of unique home made dishes starting with the apple tea to vegan sushi (best sushi I ever ate in my life!).
The atmosphere is cozy as well and the staff is friendly:)
Lovely home cooked food with many vegan options. Great apple cinnamon tea and vegan cakes! There's a warm homely atmosphere and the staff are friendly.
Loved this place! Very quiet and chill place with great fresh foods. The staff is also very nice! (The only place I could find some nice avocado at the end of this summer)
This place was near to our stay, so we decided to have breakfast here and BOY was it good. This place had such a nice, warm and cozy feel to it. You can spend hours reading and chatting or just sit, relax n laze. It became even more magical, as the clouds were trying to seep in from the windows. The food was pretty nice. We absolutely loved the sandwiches and the tempura was pretty amazing. It was such an amazing overall experience. One should not miss, when you happen to be in McLeodganj. Will come back for sure.
The ambience is very cosy, with a ground and first floor. I liked the first floor bit just a little more. We had an applecheese buckwheat crepe and coffee both of which were great. The staff were very friendly but the service was very slow.
A must visit restaurant in mclodgannj. We liked it soo much that we ended up going here twice.the place feels real cozy and the food is just too yum.do try the waffles and crepes.food very very simple and home cooked at the same time tastes out of the world. Would visit anytime I am back in dhramshala
Yummmmmm what a magical place. Head upstairs, relax, and enjoy some wonderful food/drinks. Great place to find dharma books to read. They have WiFi and plenty of love!
One of my all time favorites. I've gone to Mcleodganj only to eat at this place. When I go, I have most of my meals here. Everything is good in the menu. They deserve a Michelin star for being so damn good!
Loved this place, so cozy and charming! We tried the ginger lemon honey tea, cappuccino, waffles and crepes: no complaints whatsoever! Definitely recommend it
It was quite a good experience. Ambience was good and peaceful. Chocolate and banana pancake and Shakshuka were good. Those who like waffles can also try their ice cream and chocolate waffles.
