Beautiful place to come if you visit Shimla. This was the famous place in Shimla near Mall road. And Film shooting of movie 3 idiots was taken at this place also. This place feels like a Britain streets of London. Many people come here to visit this place and all kinds of food is Also available at this place. A market is also there downstairs for shopping of clothes and other things.

Daulat Singh (12 May 1875–14 April 1931) was the Maharaja of Idar, India, from 1911 to 1931.
He served as a squadron commander with the Jodhpur Risala in the Tirah Campaign 1897-1898, and Boxer Rebellion in China 1900. Later, he served also in First World War as a Major in British Army from 1914 in the Great War in Egypt and the Middle East 1914-1918 and was promoted to Hon. Lieut-Col in 1918.
Daulat Singh was the son of Maharaj Bhupal Singh of Jodhpur and was adopted by his uncle, Maharaja Pratap Singh of Idar, who abdicated in his favour in 1911. He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of India (KCSI) in the 1920 New Year Honours.
Daulat Singh was succeeded by his eldest son, Himmat Singh.

Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar (4 August 1906 – 2 May 1981) was an Indian politician. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress and the first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh state. He was born at Chanhalag village near Bagthan in a rajput family in the erstwhile princely state of Sirmour. He studied in the Christian College in Lahore and later received his PhD from Lucknow University in 1944. Upon the formation of the constituent assembly of India in 1946, he represented Himachal Pradesh in the constituent assembly.
