It is always a stop over for me mostly when visiting Shimla or the plains. The food tastes like home along with tawa roti. The only problem is the parking. One can have a nice meal at reasonable rates.

Pros: A vegetarian Restaurant, Food was fine
Cons: A little courtesy towards customer satisfaction goes a long way, need to improve upon that, The menu seemed a little comical with 'Don't Argu for anything' highlighted

Good restaurant online payment facility available. Rates are little high but reasonable considering the resources available and the location

As always, the cheapest item on the menu is Aloo Parantha.

Poori Chole can be tried and is tastier than you expect.

A claustrophobic toilet is availble outside the building to relieve ourselves.

Small yet organised place. Lack of parking is there but it makes up this deficiency by the qualoty of food and on time prompt servise they provide.

Had breakfast over here. The chana puri was amazing and at great price.

Good service and tasty food. I ordered aloo paratha, gobhi paratha and sandwich all of which were delicious.

Great place to have breakfast and snacks. Should try the variety of parathas. And specially the tea. The view of shimla valley outside the windows is a great catch. Price is also very reasonable. Great place to stop and have a bite.

Don't go by exterior hotel look. You will get very delicious veg food here. Staff's are very friendly and the cost is very minimal. You will get this hotel while on the way to kufri/ Narkanda.

Not at all a Family Restaurant. It is more likely a desi bar food and service is dhaba style.location is good not worth of money.for family avoid this place

Dawat restaurant is situated in Dhalli, Shimla. Location is very good. Food is fresh. Menu is very small. It takes lots of time for the dishes to be prepared because of limited facilities. Taste of food is ok. There is lack of cleaniness. Staff is very short. Lots of customers come to take food here but they find lack of services and limited menu. There is scope of lots of improvement.

Average Restaurant. Restaurant is on way to Kufri from Shimla. For breakfast aloo pranthas were tasty, but pranthas were very oily. Coffee was tasty there. Bread butter jam was a bit costly. Prantha prices was very reasonable. You can get prantha in 30 rupees only.
For Lunch almost everything is available in veg. On affordable price with sufficient quantity. Soup was also tasty there. If you ask them to 1/2 then, they will charge 20 rupee extra for that. Bathroom is available out of the restaurant.

I Have been to this place 3 - 4 times and never been disappointed. The food quality remains the same, and the location is amazing, Might have a parking problem, but this shops location is such that you can get the best parking in the whole market area because it is the last shop. A Must recommend if you are visiting with Family or Friends, a little food delivery in Kufri. It is at the junction of Mashobra and Narkanda Road diversions.
