Dawn n Dusk Glamping tents with quintessential valley view

Very peaceful and calm place. Excellent view of mountains, enjoyed bonfire with music. Staff very cooperative

This is like the third time i am visiting this place and i must say my overall experience at this place was fabulous. I loved my stay at dawn n dusk and would like to plan more trips here

They boast of much better as compared to facilities actually available. No Car can reach the camp as the final 500 m road is completely broken. Service not good as they are always short of staff.

Our family of 6 and our beagle dog stayed at the 3 bedroom villa for 10 days. Each one of us got more than what we went for. All round views are awesome and the stay was comfortable and relaxing. 4 members of our family along with our dog enjoyed trekking in the spots close by. The staff, specially Nitin and Krishna were more than helpful. Our best wishes to everyone who helped make our vacation so special

This place has a vibe. We stayed at dawnnduskgampling for 2 days. This is one of a kind stay at Himachal, here you can stay close to nature in white camps. The room & bed is fully heated & beautifully organised. The view from the camps is breathtaking beautiful. You can experience both sunrise & sunset by sitting next to your door. Isn’t that cool.
The hospitality & food was top notch too. ️️

Wow place to spend your time, especially the glamping tents. If weather is in your favour then nothings better than that.

1. Lacks cleanliness, whole place infected with flies. When pointed out then they sprayed hit but no measures taken before guest checks in.
2. All staffs were new and untrained. There was no one to supervise. Host Dhruv gave contact details of Ishaan who had no idea of what food is being served and how the guests were treated.
3. Food was horrible and too pricy. It was pre-informed to the host that we were going to celebrate birthday so need everything perfect, yet nothing was done. When we contacted Ishaan to complaint about the food and cleanliness, only answer we got was "I have no idea". We asked him to visit the place and check, He said he can only waive off the food bill and do nothing much about it.
4. Staffs were not even trained to take proper order and every time food served was not as per order. When staff was told about it they started showing attitude and spoke arrogantly.
5. Bed mattress of one room was so hard that whole body would pain in the morning and flies would not let you sleep as well.
6. Though it was mentioned that whole villa will be provided to us, but one room was given to staffs and there was no privacy as staffs could access the villa.
7. We specifically asked the host Dhruv is TV and Fridge will be available, he said yes it's available. Fridge was inside the room which was given to the staff and not accessible to us. If you need anything from the fridge you always have to call staffs and ask them for it. Also it is not accessible late night. TV was there in all the three rooms but none was working. It was just a showpiece.
8. View from the property is amazing but services not as per the price they charge.
9. Hosts lied everything about the services even though specifically asked before travelling. Seemed they had no idea about the property or the services provided.
10. They keep changing the listing in airbnb and most of the 5 start comments are given by the friends/relatives of the Host.

Would NOT recommend this place, can get much better options at this price

Infested with flies, unhygienic upkeep, untrained staff, no one in charge of the place, missing host, being asked to check-out upon raising the concerns: this kind of summarises our experience of this place which otherwise has a fantastic location and view. Here are the details of what happened- upon check-in we found the rooms in the villa infested with flies, no host or senior person was there at the site so we were on the mercy of two untrained young Nepali boys who were managing the villa and the 6 tents adjoining it (clearly the place is understaffed). We were travelling with three kids, our 6 month old being the youngest, so hygiene was a basic necessity, however the staff (in lack of any supervision) had kept the villa very dirty (filthy is a more accurate discretion). Open dustbin bags near the kitchen, used plates and utensils kept in the open area, common area floors not being cleaned and much more were an open invitation for flies to be in the property. Somehow we managed one night and decided to raise the hygiene & flies concerns with the host (Dhruv), who responded by saying this is a nature resort and flies will come, we should keep the doors closed at all times & only hang out in common areas. He also reminded us that we are not in a hotel but an Airbnb, and also asked us to check-out if we wanted, clearly he is in the wrong business as that is not hospitality as we know it. Also not a standard of Airbnb's as we have stayed in many other home stays and the experience there has been totally different. Now considering how the place became clean and free of flies within a few hours of our pointing the issues (his staff had to fold up their sleeves and get to work for it), his whole argument of this being nature etc.fell flat, when the staff did their work and cleaned up the place like they should have the place became clean. There are many positives of the place, and if managed with respect and sincerity it can be a wonderful place to spend a few days. However the very lack of accountability among the staff, missing host of the property, unhygienic conditions, asking the guests to check-out when concerns are raised (we spoke to another couple staying at the tent who were also asked to check-out by Ishaan) make this property completely avoidable; unless the guests prefer to stay among the flies and in unhygienic conditions.
****Insights****
1. Dhruv is mentioned as the host of the listing (he is only available on chats & is always driving when you have a concern)
2. Dhruv will hand you over to Ishaan a day before check-in who is a relative of the owner of this property
3. Ishaan is never present at the property & is either in Shimla or Chandigarh whenever you would want to raise a concern
4. Property is being managed by two young Nepali boys who are not well trained and not hospitable
5. Cleaning staff is only one person who is responsible for 4 rooms in the villa and 6 camping tents which are listed separately
6. They kitchen in the villa is not equipped, only gas cylinder and burner is available.
7. They charged us 400 rupees to send the driver to the market to get some fruits for the kids
8. They will ask you to send your food order on (Hidden by Airbnb), 30% of the items mentioned will not get delivered. Arm yourself with tremendous patience when this happens
9. The villa may be private but it's not, one of the rooms is shared by the staff so you never have 100% privacy
10. The common areas are shared with other guests who are accommodated in 6 adjoining tents
****Our short comings****
1. We never checked if any host or senior person will be there at the property or not, at the time of the booking we got an impression that the host Dhruv will be there
2. We didn't create a scene by seeing the flies in the rooms at the time of check-in, we were patient to see if this is actually nature of something else

Road is very bad. Car parking is too far. Food quality is very bad. Food have smell. We ordered 3 dishes. Prices are too high. No professional chef and dirty kitchen. Don't waste your money by staying here.

Excellent experience staying there with friends. The tents were extremely well built and clean. The view is outstanding! Special thanks to the staff there & Ishan for making our stay so comfortable.

Place is Awesome!
Hospitality is A1! I was there with my 1 year old infant and I enjoyed their hospitality very much.
Downside: Food is bit expensive.
Also, if you don’t have 4 by 4 vehicle then don’t take your car near the apartment. Park it on road and ask your host to commute you till the place.
We had this bad experience for our car. It was damaged as the road to the place is horrendous.

The place is very nice with a perfect spot for a family picnic and stay.
The terrain is a bit difficult the drive.
Yet, the place is really beautiful with remarkable scenery discovery.

It was the experience of living in hygienic tent houses. The owner actually made all things easier from the assistance of reaching the location to the taking care of little things like arranging extra bedding, guiding the local sight seeing. The food was delicious. The washrooms were clean. It was beautiful n peaceful staying at Dawn N Dusk Glamping tents.

Ideal place to rejuvenate yourself. Beautiful velly view. Wonderful climate. The property is situated on Chail Kufri road. Approximately 500 meters down from the main road. They have arrangements to park your car in one hotel on main road. Will Pickup you from their vehicle as it is risky to drive your own car. Nice and clean tent with attached lat bath. Food is okay. Better if negotiate for free breakfast. Lunch and dinner is 400 per person. No plate system (No Ala carte) except breakfast. You can visit Chail Palace which is approximately 12 KM from here. You can bring your own drinks. This is mid of May when we visited here but weather is pleasant. Staff is polite and courteous. Two days stay would be okay.

The property is very nice, beautiful, serene and very organic.
Host Ishaan is very warm and awesome buddy.

Little away from town.approach road is kaccha.can't take ur vehicle till the destination.their tents r better then rooms.toilets and lights needs improvisation. Food service is ok.just 1 chef for all guests.though staff is good.but managing all guests at one time seems tricky.their car service is not good.

Place was okayish, host was much good but the food was so so so costly and portion size was very less, plus there was nothing to do there it was kind of isolated

Talking about my experience - It was one of the best stays (Dawn & Dusk), at best location (Koti) with the best host (shaan). Everything was superb and worth all the accolades. Must recommend to group of friends and families too. Pack your bags and go to this serene location to get all the peace you are looking for, far from city's hustle bustle.

The only glamorous camping site in himachal. The interior is as good as you find in delhi homes.
The sitting area is a perfect location to have delicious food.
Service staff always remain on toes to help you in which ever way posible.

The location along with the hospitality shown by them was heartwarming, also the food was fabulous and how can i forget the jungle sufari provided to us, the cool morning breeze was so refreshing.
