Staff was very good. No swimming pool is available

Even though the owner stays in premises, the staff refuses to work. They will give all possible explaination and reasons for not getting things done. Rooms are okay for location but they are far from main building and either intercom in the rooms won't work or the desired extensions won't respond. Bonfire promised was provided for only one evening out of 3 night's stay.

Overall experience was good. Less facility in the room, very less options for breakfast and considerable hyped prices. Location with views is good and nice open lawns with apple trees. Our major bad experience was paying exorbitant amount for a suite room almost 7k wherein all we were getting was kitchen smell throughout the day along with breeze.

The maintenance of the room was not up to mark. It was difficult to lock the rooms and it sort of ruined the experience of the stay.

Stay was serene coming from a bustling city we choose not to stay at shimla because of the crowd hence we opted for Theog.
Hotel is built very nicely, staff is the most friendly and humble. Food is at kar with the location. Overall a natural detoxing stay at de exotica crest.

Recently visited this place for a wedding. Its locatee on the main road so you wont miss it. The rooms are good, neat and clean. The location is very pleasant and has a good view overlooking the valley. Im giving its 1 star for service as it was very pathetic.we arrived at 3pm from a long journey and placed our lunch order which took an hour. Unacceptable! We had to literally complain and raise our voice to ask for food. The welcome drinks were placed but never served. When we asked then they served us. Overall slow service. Food was okish at the restaurant. Location is good. Rooms are clean. Villa for 3 is appx 5k.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay withe de Exotica. I was hungry and checked-In late as well, as soon as i reached there they served the delicious dinner. The food was finger licking good. Literally Finger Licking Yum!
Great Experience all together.

Good stay. Staff is good. Perfect location. Only thing is bath tub is missing (this one from my kid). Foodl, very important. Day1 they treated us really well as lot of tourists were present and breakfast as well as dinner buffet with good options,
But, next day no tourists, no dinner buffet.not informed in advance, but yes on order they provided whatever we ordered.
Breakfast: total waste. They did provided same breakfast from previous day and no change to menu at all, very disappointed.
I would like to mention that food was good but last dinner and breakfast irritated us. Poor management.

Most Homely & Friendly hotel i have ever seen

We stayed for a night. The rooms are spacious and clean however there was a foul smell in some. The service and staff was great. But cost of one egg doesn't make sense 180 for a egg which barely cost 5rs. Food was good and other things were okay as well.

Everything was excellent, right from welcoming us at reception by warm staff, to the rooms, excellent view from the room and amazing hospitality at the restaurant. The ambience is beautiful too. All the staff right from reception, to room …

Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was surreal. From welcoming and cheerful staffs to the location of the resort, from the amenities available to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. We hope to revisit the resort sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.

The Property is beautifully designed & constructed in two parts i.e regular rooms and villas. I recently stayed there with my family, friends. The hotel hosted a hilly wedding for my cousin. It was a great experience to find himachali decor and food complimenting each other. The service is brilliant, prompt and staff are courteous. The Family Rooms have brilliant views and space. Private dinners in the lawn overlooking the valley were a great experience too. Villas with view of the apple orchards gives an impeccable experience. Overall handling of the wedding was pretty good need operational coordination. Thank you.

Was really a great experience! The staff was friendly and very efficient. A special cheer for Mr. Dimple. Great food, the tandoori chicken was one of the best custom cooked dishes that could easily put some of the best and most expensive places in Delhi NCR to shame. One of the best value for money experiences. Keep up the good work guys! Avoid staying overnight in Shimla, for this is the place you will get a real hang of the pristine beauty of Shimla and it's vicinity.

Fantastic place, good staff, spacious rooms, good location, peaceful.food options can be improved though.

A nice place. Mobile signals are good. A small nice lawn area to sit and soak up the sun in winters. The staff is hospitable and nice. Breakfast is pretty decent. The tea and coffee can be bettered.

Amazing place surrounded by scenic beauty of nature. I stayed here for three nights and loved my stay.

Easily reachable and equppied with large parking.

The rooms here are nice with most of the amenities one require on a vacation.

Routine room cleaning took longer as they prefer to do it after standard check in time of 2, probably due to peak season.

Food was also great.

Leisure room having pool table was quite cold with no windows. It would be great if they can shift it to a room having a great view.

This is one of the best properties to stay at Theog. I've been to many hotels there with the exception of Taj, which is on my itinerary for the next trip. De Exotica Crest is situated on a cliff next to the road so it has beautiful view of a valley. The rooms have great views and they also have a few rooms in a villa kind of a set up near the parking area. People travelling in large groups can choose to stay there.
Rooms are spacious and all the rooms I've been put in had great view of the valley (this was my 4th visit). The staff is courteous and the food is good. If you prefer your tea with less sugar, you'd be better off telling them beforehand.
Theog market is about 3 kms from the hotel so it is a good hike if you are up for it. On our journey to Spiti and Chitkul from Delhi, this was an ideal first day stopover from distance point of view. It is roughly 380 kms from Delhi and the travel time is around 10-11 hours. I prefer to stretch a bit on the first day and find this place much better due to the solitude it offers compared to Shimla.

Worst Chinese food bad food, overpriced, bad rooms not at all hygienic Staff behaviour was pathetic they were rude I never ever seen such behaviour in Hospitality department I will never gonna recommend this place to anyone really had bad experience

I stayed at this three times over the last 2 years. Each time I totally enjoyed the time I spent here. The hotel is located over a cliff and overlooks the vast expanse of landscape from its open space in the front. The hotel garden is laden with Apple trees and Rose plants with strict instructions not to pluck them. Staff is very courteous and food is finger licking good. The hotel is located just outside of Theog and can be easily spotted on the main road to Narkanda. Overall a very comfortable place for families.

I visited in this hotel in 2019.that was bad decision to stay in this hotel because full night no light in the room there is no staff on night.i try to call the staff but noone pickup the call

This place is nestled up in the mountains of Theog. The road leading is a serious ride but boy it's worth your penny.
Staff is courteous and will accomodate your requests with the best of their abilities.
The place would serve you good if you are looking for some fun and quiet.
Food is great here at the restaurant.
I missed one thing - the place has both smoking and non smoking rooms. Heads up to help you decide! Hope you enjoy

Tasty food, excellent service and awe worthy views; all are offered for a decent price.we stayed here with family for 3 days and 4 nights and our stay was super comfortable.their service is impeccable, they do make food as per request in case you are travelling with baby/toddler.we visited during corona times, all staff was taking precautions and we felt utterly safe. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Average property with very average staff. The staff is polite but not trained properly. The place is clean and large but is not COVID friendly. The food in restaurant is cheep and tasty but ordered items come one at a time. Good property according to Himachal standards. But actually a 2 star property. One good thing is that the property has ample parking.

Nice property with great ambiance. I really liked their food. Had a direct interaction with the owner and he is very sobber young lad. Mr Deepanshu also organise summer and winter drives. Overall a good experience as I went there to have a look on property to book for a destination wedding.

Amazing Hotel and services. Food is delicious and the dining area is best to enjoying the breakfast. Loads of Variety of food. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are Well cleaned and maintained. Swimming pool is also but opened for selected period. In front of the hotel there's a valley. And the hotel rooms offered a great view in the morning of sunrise and the mountains around. 5 star is less to rate this.

Great location and poorly managed property. We stayed 4 nights, there were loud commotion and vulgar music by guests till 5 am 2 nights. Room size is big. Suggestion - let professionals run the property.food was just average. Serving staff was very nice and tried best to cover for shortcomings

The hotel is too much inside when it comes to main road. Although the place is very beautiful and calm. The service quality is good as well. The food provide is also at par. Heaters are provided by the hotel.

Wonderful property with all the luxuries that such a place could provide, including a room heater, which might not sound much but on a cold winter night, it did come extremely handy.

Also, the rooms are spacious, clean and ofcourse, beautiful. There is hot running water 24hours, which is a big boon. Overall, I shall definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great, secluded spot to spend a couple of nights.

Good place, away from madness. Great views, nice staff and cosy beds. We had heaters too (11th Nov) and we being bikers, had a very comfortable stay.

Very nice room with good fittings. Breakfast was nice. Don't expect any view of the snow-peaked mountains. Ordered chicken-corn soup. Below average.

Had a wonderful stay. I went dere wid my husband and son. The scence from the resort is breath taking. Its children friendly and a cool place away from the noise and clamour of town to spend time in isolation. Rooms are neat nd clean staff is also cordial

Good hotel situated about 20 kms away from Narkanda.we visited in March end looking for snowclad mountains. Unfortunately no snow near the main road.

De Exotica Crest Resort location is marvelous. Specifications and interiors are excellent. Food and services are also excellent.

This Resort has a very unprofessional attitude towards the customers. Mr. B. S Chauhan (G. M) of the hotel is very very Rude. He also rude with Cab Driver. I request to Resort owner Take action for Mr. B. S chauhan.
