An amazing and off beat place to visit near Kullu for a serene and peaceful experience. There is a small cafe where you can get snacks. Public transport is not available here so you may consider taking your own vehicle.
Peaceful. Good view. In Sarabai village. Usually given a pass by tourists as it's 14 km from Kullu proper towards Mandi via Mahol, Shamshi, Bhunter. Not a great tourist hotspot. Not even for Kullu people. Mostly local people visit. Well maintained. A small cafe near the monastery. Average taste.
Well organised and a peaceful place. I recommend going early in morning during winter cuz sun get behind the mountain after 1: 00 in noon. It's gorgeous from inside. Definitely visit if your in Kullu.
In all probability, this is the most beautiful monastery I have ever visited. It is calm and welcoming, the gardens deserve most of your time. You can spend anywhere from half an hour to a whole day here. If you're enthusiastic enough, there's an offering at 7: 30 am which is an experience of a lifetime. Extremely picturesque place, a hidden gem.
Amazing place.we attended evening prayer with the monks and it was a different experience. We felt like in another world. Such a beautifully maintained place.great architecture. Really beautiful. Loved it n will cherish the day forever.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful place on a mountain hill, easily reachable from bhuntar or kullu within minutes. One can see the airport runaway and beas river from monastery. You can enjoy the nature and see many fruit trees planted here like apple, japanis fruit, apricot, pear etc.available food. You will see how very starting monks learn and practice of buddhism. Overall it's a very nice holistic place one must see.
