This place is just pure bliss! The setting with the Himalayas as a backdrop is just incredible but that is just the start. The whole team at Dev Bhoomi are magnificent, nothing is too much trouble and they are always helping out in many ways. And then there is the food and hospitality - I have not had better Indian food in my life. It is almost like having your own personal chef. The paratha and the fish curry are to die for. Please go, you won't regret it. An unforgettable experience.

Excellent place. Very responsive and courteous staff. Always smiling and ready to help. Fantastic location and backdrop. Access can be improved but overall will stay there again in the future.

The farmhouse itself is surrounded by lush greenery that seemed straight out of a painting, especially the snow- covered mountain caps that can be seen from here. The landscape was breathtaking, with rolling hills and pristine streams flowing nearby.and offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the humble owner and polite workers to the lush green surroundings and impeccable hygiene, every detail was carefully thought out to create a memorable experience. The food is really amazing, offering a wide variety of menu. Each corner of the property offered a breathtaking view, providing ample opportunities for relaxation and reflection.

Absolutely wonderful experience in a lush green, tranquil environment- farms, forest and a 2 minute trek down to the river stream. Delicious home-style meals.
Amazing views of the snow capped Dauladhar mountains. All cottages are alike, just 6 of them, ensuring you have a Personalized experience.
Every staff member, from house keeping to dining, to chef, and the property owner himself- are very courteous, helpful and Available. Cottages and the property itself is a 5-min walk from where they let your cars park. Dharamshala ropeway is a 20-minute drive. Don't miss out a walk/trek to the HPCA stadium, about 30 mins one way.

A amazing place for the people who love nature. Felt absolutely comfort as the service provided by their staff was really great. The food was also delicious and healthy with home style food. Loved our stay at Dev Bhoomi Farms and cottages Dharmashala, Himachal pradesh.

Immerse yourself in nature. This is the feeling you get when you visit Dev Bhoomi Farms and Cottages. One must come here and totally relax with the sounds of nature at their best. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our host, Mr. Katoch is a splendid gentleman. The cottages are cozy. One can also go walking on a nature trail nearby. Its a very different experience when compared to regular hotels. An absolute refreshing experience.

If you are a nature lover and want to spend some time with your family away from City Chaos, then you can't miss this place. Cottages are so comfortable and luxurious that you will not want to go back. If I talk about staff, I have never seen such co-operative and polite staff in any of the hotels. Icing on the cake is food. Such a finger licking food. I would def love to visit it again. Must visit place.

Its really an experiential stay in beautifully designed cottage in the lap of nature beside the river. We stayed there for 3 days and enjoyed the delicious food prepared from fresh vegetables from farms, their chef Mr. Arvind is awesome. Kudos to Samridh and his team for making our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Approach road is not good. Directional signage need to be clear and improved. This location is too far from Mcleodganj.

Loved our stay here. It was raining heavily that kind of spoiled the stay but they have the best cottages with some exceptional view of the flowing water, greenery and mountains. I was not able to get to the water stream coz of rain but it definately is something to look forward to.

We had booked the entire property for family & friends. All with kids in the age group of 5-10years.

Clean Cottages converted into huge luxury tent like experience.

Amazing property spread on the hillside with lush green all around.

The only difficulty would be the approach road is a trek of around 10mins.
Where luggage is well transported by the owners pickup car. Very helpful staff. The property is in the lap of nature & a very private space thus difficult to go out for dinner.

They have their own Riverside entrance. Which was pretty cool.

The infamous Dharamshala Stadium is just a 40minutes trek away.

There are several small activities for the kids like a fooseball table, dartboard, playing with the baby chics, archery, etc.

Mr Arvindji the cook would try to make satisfying tasty meals for our huge group with kids.

Mr Samrit the owner is a wonderful Gentlemen. Answers & takes care of all your needs.

Mr Samrit had arranged a Live Music Night with beautiful ambience for us upon our request. Which was just amazing and memorable.

It's been a week since we are back from Devbhoomi farms (Dharamshala) but I am unable to get my mind off this place. It's rare that I write reviews but got compelled to write about this one. The stay has etched beautiful memories on me.

Yes we were apprehensive initially because the property is located slightly in the interiors and there is a 1km walk involved but oh my myyy the minute you enter it's all worth it. The owner Mr. Samrit and his entire team was immensely helpful and made every minute of our stay totally worth. They have 6 cottages converted into luxury tents which are clean, spacious and with all necessary amenities. Their is a channel dug in between entire property where they circulate water throughout day and night to give that soothing sound.
They have their own riverside entrance which got us privacy during our river bath.
Dharamshala stadium is just 40min trek away.
Packed with several games and activities for kids and arranged live music night with awesome ambience was icing on cake.
I would like to express my gratitude to entire team of Devbhoomi farms and promise to visit again.

One of the best experiences we had staying with Dev bhoomi farms. One of the most beautiful off the road riverside properties with superb host Samridhji. Very accommodating staff, lovely rooms, clean washrooms and lovely evening by bonfire made our stay one of the most beautiful and memorable one. Must try if you looking for a serene experience in Dharamshala.

We stayed in Dev Bhoomi Farms and Cottages for 4 nights during our family vacation to Dharamsala. Great location if you want to be close to nature. You could hear the sweet sounds of the birds and gentle sound of the perennial river nearby. The river that is accessible from the property is great and safe for kids to play and splash around. Its pretty much a private river access. We were very happy with the experience. The stay in the tent cottages was comfortable. The home-style food throughout our stay was delicious and was good on the stomach as well. Special mention for the paranthas during breakfast, Pasta and other veg dishes. Special thanks to Chef Mr. Arvind who apart from the excellent food he made was very friendly and caring and even shared useful tips for sightseeing. Mr. Akshay who served the food was proactive and provided very good service. Kudos to manager Mr. Ashok who attended to our needs including cab bookings for local sightseeing and was quite hospitable in providing professional service. The private dinners on the lawn was a great idea and quite memorable! The owner Mr. Samrudh was accessible throughout from the time of reservation until we checked out. He provided good information on the place, its history, provided valuable suggestions on places of sightseeing based on our interests. Overall, an excellent place to unwind, refresh in a nature friendly setting with home-style food! Worth repeating!

Firstly quiet remote at least 2km from Dharamshala

Approach way around 300m only accessible by foot though mud path (not to worry an amazing experience and staff will be carrying your luggage)

Situated at the river bank, quiet an amazing view and non stop flowing water can be heard
Small water channels flowing through the cottages non stop (absolutely mesmerising)

Small breakfast hut and beer bar (although alcohol should be brought by visitors)

Food (Indian) exquisite and snacks top of the notch (Chinese and tea, coffee needs little improvements)
Staff friendly and accommodating

Lastly evenings and mornings even more breathtaking

Just wanted to write to you about our stay at Dev Bhoomi farms.it was so good that we're soon planning for another trip to Dharamshala at Dev Bhoomi Farms but this time with our friends.

Special thanks to Ashok ji - who was available at anytime of the day or night, Arjun ji and Shafi - who created the bonfire for us every day and did it very well. Both even helped with taking our bags to and fro from the property to the parking area. Sachin who was so quick in bringing us our order and always checking in a timely manner if we wanted to repeat. The chef who made us excellent food, especially the Kangra Dham - Ashok ji told us about it and the chef made it for us and it was delightful.

Do come visit the place.its in the middle of nature.

This property around 4km far from dharamshala and around 20kms far from mclodganj. Please donot book if you have sedan class or hatchback car as the way to there resort is meant only for 4x4 vehicles only.

We went to Devbhoomi Farms to spend our Christmas holiday with friends…. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, food was vey delicious and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting to Dharmsala.

This place is an absolute delight for the nature lovers! Warm hospitality and delicious food by very kind staff and hosts adds to the icing on the cake.
Nature walks, bonfires and serene river sound makes this resort a complete place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends here. Staff puts is all effort to provide a cozy stay and give you the privacy and comfort as required.

Amazing property by the river which offers majestic views. The staff is also very nice and offer great service & hospitality. There are evening bonfires and in the morning you can walk down to the river. The cottages are luxury Swiss tents with all the amenities like heater, tea/coffee maker etc. The washrooms are big, clean and have an awesome shower area. Recommended place to stay when you're in Dharamshala.

Best place to hangout with family and friends. The food was amazing also the well built shelters and stays. Far from the hustle and city noise this place is situated in the middle of forest and also has access to a fresh water stream flowing along side of dev bhoomi farms.

The word amazing doesn't do it justice. Very hospitable owner, very well prepared food. PROPERLY CLEAN AND SANITIZED place. Near by water body, bon fire, trail walk. Basically all in one. Save your money and stay here for all in one experience. Highly highly recommended!

Dev Bhumi farms was a complete delight. Set up near a river and walk through the farms is a dream for anyone from the city. The 06 luxury tent accomodation is perfectly done up with best esthetics and decor. Service by staff is heart warming and Mr Samridh is excellent at his courtesies. Food was amazing around a bin fire and my favourite friends. Absolute delightful days I will cherish all my life

The ambience of the place was breathtaking. The back drop of the mountains make it picture perfect. The walk through the farms to get to the cottages, gives an authentic flavour. The service was exceptional!

One of the most scenic and well kept properties I have stayed at. The owner and the entire staff makes you feel at home and have been best host for us for our entire stay. This property is surrounded by beautiful tall mountains and has beautiful river passing by.the meditative sound of river makes your stay completely rejuvenating and refreshing.the food is one of the best things.it is all freshly cooked as per your choice and is really delectable.
All in all it is our best discoveries as a resort till date and I highly recommend this beautiful resort to all.
