Had a very nice stay. The view, the food both were great and the service was also lovely and friendly…. Highly recommended … the site seeing point was also nearby

Had a fantastic cup of coffee here, all frothy, yet strong, just the way we like it! A lovely trekking place, with gorgeous views of the snow capped mountains in the background.

A must visit resort in kharota.if any one visits dharamshala.they must visit here, awesome service, awesome staff, awesome rooms and food.very helpful staff with positive attitude.

If you are think about the travelling cost control from Dharamshala bus stand to resort, you can easily take a sharing jeep/local bus from Dharamshala bus stand to khaniyara @ Rs. 20 only and then a private car to reach the resort by rs. 100- 130.
I strongly recommend to stay with your loved once in Dharamshala village resort.

It is an amazing place to stay and hang out. This property gives you a view to wake up to an amazing sunrise and also watch an amazing sunset.
The cafe ‘Mud House Cafe’ is also very nice. They serve very delicious food. The staff is very cooperative, specially Abhinav.
Would recommend this place when in Dharamshala to enjoy the most.

We have done booking through travel agent.after reaching to resort at around 8pm rooms were not ready and perosn on receiption is telling us to wait for some more time to get room. In dis so called big resort only one staff was available.we were total 7ppl and only one staff member was available to do everything.after asking were are other staff dey are answering everyone left as its too late now.its not at all good place and service is too poor.

The place is surrounded by dhauladhar ranges.
Away from the city hustle that what we actually love.
Food was outstanding whether Indian Italian Chinese everything was mouthwatering.
Bonfire with glass of wine was the main highlight

Stayed at Dharamshala Village Resort from 8th june to 12th june in duplex mudhouse. Detailed review is as under

Pros:
1. Location is good nestled amongst nature, outskirts of Dharamshala,
2. Abhinav is an excellent host
3. Experience of camps and option of staying in a mudhouse.
4. Food is freshly prepared and tasty.
5. Options of trails nearby.

Area of improvement:
1. Accn is not child proof so families with small kids need to be extra careful.
2. Prices on a bit higher side as compared to facilities provided.
3. Rooms require an internal phone or call bell to call attendant for requirements
4. Restaurant requires a fly catcher
5. Though the location is peaceful but the peace gets disturbed in night due to walk in guest's sitting in close proximity of accn for drinks and party.

Overall a pleasant experience

Truly a great weekend get away. The hosts are what make the place great other than their obvious usp i.e. Their location and old style well maintained cottages.

Had a great time at the resort. The owner and staff is very friendly and cooperative. Definitely gonna visit soon.

If u really like to travel and stay in the mountains this is place for you, khrota is usually Less crowded as compared to dharamshala or meclo.they serve delicious food and the staff is very good and really knows how to handle a customer

Stayed at this property on 16th -18th June for 2 nights. Wonderful property located on a hilllock from a distance of approx 7 km from the main Kangra. They have a quick access to trek to the Valley. The property has 6 functional Rooms for adults and kids. Multi cuisine Restaurant is beautiful. Food options are good and reasonable in cost. You can consume alchohol at this restaurant. They also provide room service. Staff is courteous and they have a travel desk option for assist with any guest queries. Must Visit place in this earth.

Beautiful location, perfect staying options between swiss Camps and the cottages and loved the food served at the MudHouse Cafe. The staff is very warm and hospitable and are always ready to cater to any requests that we made. There are several spots to hike around the property and it is a place worth visiting all round the year. Will be back soon.
