Delicious food. Would definitely recommend to visit this place. In fact, better than Cafe Sol. We took pahadi thali and Burmese curry. Both were delicious.

We visited the restaurant on a busy sunday and the service was good but the dishes are a bit expensive.

Service was very good. Great environment! However food was but costly but very tasty. Love the atmosphere.

We ordered chicken gravy and a veg gravy was served and when we asked to change they said kitchen is now closed. Very slow service. Didn't like it.

Had the breakfast buffet at this place before leaving for Manali. All three of us who ate spent the entire trip vomiting.

I visited this place in April, ambience was good.
The main problem was food they use old chicken i got food poisoning next morning, that ruined my whole India trip. Next time I will visit and make sure a food inspector inspect your kitchen and food.

3rd class food…charging food with alot of money…. Ordwred mushroom chilly with extra veggies…. Bt the manager there dint even told they dnt add veggies just said pay the bill and wait for getting it packed…. Fooling the customers…shit taste watevr they made

A cool quiet place on the lovely mall Street, awesome ambience not crowded at all, a bit on the expensive side, all dishes range from 350 upwards. They have a well stocked bar and brew 4 variants of beer, loved the apple cider one. Malai chicken tikka was yum, dimsums were very dry, the fried rice was dry and average tasting the Himalayan Yara mutton gravy was juicy and yum, the mocktails were good.

Great Food. Good Staff. If you are with family and kids, this is a good place with comfortable ambience and all kinds of preparation.

Superb mughlai restaurant. The Dal Makhani and chicken bemisal is the highlight for any mughlai lover. I also tried their Rara meat and Lal mas on the chefs suggestion and enjoyed it. My and my friends had a super time here. After a well spent day around the town, we got back to our hotel and decided to eat inside the hotel itself and we we loved the food here. For the vegetarians in the group the paneer tikka, dahi kebab and mushroom galauti too were also very tasty. The place is well done up and staff was taking utmost care given the restrictions currently.

This cookhouse & bar should be on your bucket list. Hakka noodles & Cold coffee is a must-try! It's at the beginning of the mall road and the service is also pretty fast.

This place was awesome and has a very good view and service. This could be easily the most romantic spot in Shimla giving a 360 degree view of the entire city of Shimla. Simply amazing location and value for money food.

Visited this place during my vacation with family and ordered Murgh Malai Tikka, Paneer Tikka Lathi along with Basil and Orange Mocktail and everything was great in taste and quantity was good. Staffs were friendly and service was fast.
Will visit again for sure whenever I'll visit Shimla again.

Recently I have visited with my friends here at Eighteen 71, and I was truly awestruck by watching the ambience and the vibe of the place.
It was was perfectly maintained.
The food were to amazing and I had the best time here with my friends and colleagues.
Can't wait to visit again and had fun.

Good food, poor management. We visited this place for dinner, there was waiting for 10 mins. Once on the table, we were not attended for 15 mins. No water served. Half of the menu was not available. Asked the staff to close the door as I was feeling cold breeze right on my head and they simply denied. Food was nice but again poor service. Had to ask for salad and chutney, we were served used chutney bowl from another table, ruined the experience. The entire team was confused, could not handle a few tables. 2 stars for the food and nothing else.

We tried North Indian food and it was absolutely amazing. Vegetable Stew was the highlight of our meal.
If you're looking for a proper filling meal, this would be a great choice.

Best Daal makhani in Shimla - Simply that. 10/10 score for the food we ate here. We ate at different restaurants across the city during our holiday and this was by far the best.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant and finally went in to have dinner with friends. We were so hungry and tired and went directly onto the main course. The all time favourite Butter Chicken, Paneer Khatta pyaaz, Garlic naan and rotis. The chicken was yumm. Perfect blend of spice and creaminess. The pieces were soft and well cooked. The paneer cooked with vinegared onions was different from post preparations I've had before and was very tasty. The place got really crowded towards late evening and we got to know they even serve post midnight and infact all night - 24 hours open. The service was prompt too. Great experience and will surely visit again soon.

Classy fine dine restaurant serving scrumptious North Indian delicacies. Food served is just top notch! Staff is well informed and nice to talk to. Every single thing we ordered was superb. Loved the bhatti ka murgh and fish ajwaini tikka which we had for starters, with the murgh tikka being the best I have had till now and this was the star dish. Chicken tikka pieces, perfectly prepared, juicy, extra spicy and flavourful! Coming to the main course, we had the Malai Kofta which was soft and had a thick flavourful gravy. Definitely the best restaurant serving North Indian cuisine and had a wonderful time.

I loved the ambience and the staff was courteous too. We ordered the paneer haryali tikka, chicken malai kebab and anaari seekh. The food was super delicious but the chicken tikka was best of the lot. Had the berry blast and raspberry mojito and they were really well prepared. Its a good place to go to with family and be assured of a delicious meal.

Visited this restaurant in January this year for New Years dinner. This place has an amazing interior, perfect lighting and a very cozy and regal look and feel. Food is delicious and its served with a smile. We had Paneer achari tikka and bhatti ka murgh. Both were amazing. The tangy flavour of the tikka was really yummy. In the mains we tried the daal makhani, rogan josh and hyderabadi biryani and would like to say that all the dishes were very tasty. This was a family dinner and we all really enjoyed. Our experience here was worth every penny we spent.

Eighteen 71 is very fancy fine dine restaurant. It has a premium look. Mostly foreigners. It’s a nice place with very authentic food from pan Asian cuisine. The dim sums and suimui were yummy. So good. Soft and juicy. Spring rolls and Kung pao chicken were yum. Penang curry and noodles we had for main course. Authentic food taste.it’s a perfect place for a nice fancy dinner. Surely recommend!

One of the best looking restaurant in entire Himachal Pradesh, attached with Willow Bunks (which itself is a great place to stay) this place offers you all kinda great foods and wines.

Eighteen71 breakfast is good. We were staying at this hotel n enjoyed a nice n hearty breakfast. The chef made yum cheese dosas and we loved it. We had our dinner too at this property - just too good. Chinese food is the best here. Kung pao chicken, chicken spring rolls, Dimsums all yummy. Loved my meals here

On our family trip to shimla this was our favourite restaurant. We had both our lunch meals here. My whole family loved it as it had good food and was central. The menu is so elaborate, they have a good selection of Indian, Chinese and Thai as well. They had sea food too which is my favourite. I ordered prawns chettinad style which I loved. The Thai and Penang curry were very tasty. A delightful change from regular food. The shrimp sui mui was soft and juicy. We ordered some basic Indian classics like dal makhani, rogan josh and rara meat. Very nice to taste. The staff was polite.

I had breakfast and dinner here. The buffet was fantastic as it served huge number of dishes to choose. Adding on the food was amazing.

First impression: took alot of time to serve even water.
Second: Tax at 18% is confusing. Although its not a part of willow banks but they must solve this issue somehow.
Third: More attention to large groups than individual people that somehow gets noticeable.
Last: Ambience was good. We got free cookies

The only points are for dining quality & free cookies on Instagram post. Rest the value for money is not there. We decided to try this in place of cafe simla times as it was full.
Drinks are overpriced in my opinion, especially the non alcoholic ones. We ordered pasta and it was okay.more quantity and less quality.

It is a veg/Non-veg bar and restaurant, located on mall road close to the world Bank, right in from of Raymond store. They have very good ambience, soulful music playing all the time. The restaurant can be located easily from The mall road. The food was tasty and manu is loaded with tasty dishes. The staff is polite and they recommend some great dishes from their menu, go for their recommendations. I tried Chicken fried rice and Paan Kulfi over there and it was yummy.

We ordered paneer in veg item and it was completely tasteless. It seems paneer was cut into pieces dipped in the gravy.not properly mixed up.gravy was thin too. Food has no taste. Specially when u r craving after driving for long hours. Didnt live upto the online ratings.

Well I would say the food during daytime is pretty good but at night it's not so good and they have pretty less variety of food for nighttime

The services are very poor. The waiter is not at all responsive. He was neither taking the the order properly nor serving it properly. Guest service are very poor its a total waste of time to visit this place. I have never visited any restaurant with such poor services. Worst experience of visiting any place in shimla.

So I went to Eighteen71 after seeing multiple great reviews online. The only fish I ended up having was the Crispy Chilly and Honey Chicken which was decent.
But the highlight was the terrible service and the insane waiting time. I ordered a Chicken Dim-Sum as well which took over 30 mins to prepare. After this 30 min wait, the waiter had the audacity to tell me that the dish prepared was wrong and would I take that instead! My further requests to meet the manager were turned down by the waiters but I persisted and found the manager myself and reported the problem to him. My advice would be to steer away from this restaurant.

Worth it!
I visited on my wife’s birthday because it was her special day out. Ambience was beautiful. Staff was really humble. Tried the chicken tandoori, Laal Maas and kheer. Perfect meal! Service was great hospitality

Nice place and good food. Especially the Indian food was delicious. Quick service and friendly staff is a bonus!

Maybe I was unfortunate, but my experience of food here is not up to the mark. Dumplings that were served was not fresh, fried rice was too dry, and the price is too high compared to the food served. Two positive things for me are the location and the ambience. It would be hard for me to strongly recommend this place to travellers looking for a fine place to dine.

A really chilled out spot on the mall. Food is fantastic, but a little expansive. The overall vibe of the place is dope. Staff welcomes you with a smile and the location of the spot is well selected near the old entry near Hotel Combermere.

Shimla is a paradise for foodies and I came across one such restaurant in Shimla which totally impressed me to the core, be it their food, service or hospitality.

Eighteen 71 is a multicuisine bar cum restaurant, located in the heart of Shimla, near Mall Road, inside Hotel Willow Banks. From their amazing breakfast spread to their Indian and Oriental dishes, everything is worth a try. I loved the fizzy Berry Cola and the soft and juicy Pan Fried Chilli Chicken. These two dishes are highly recommended!
