We stayed at the Camp 13- 15 June 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Capt Negi is truly an asset and runs an efficient team. The staff is courteous and made our stay memorable. Gen Dalip Bhardwaj
We were a group of 11 riders and stayed in Eskape camps. We were tired after a long ride from Kaza to Rakcham but our spirit was soon lifted listening to Negi sir's adventure stories.
He asked us to join him on the morning walk at 5: 30 am, as Rakcham is famous for its meadows, and rightly so. The walk was refreshing and he gave us info about many plants and herbs found in the jungle. The camps are clean, food was excellent, staff was courteous. Try their buckwheat pancake, definitely worth it.
I have a great time spending at the ESKAPE adventure camps. Highly recommended for give it a try. Professional people very entertaining owner Mr (Pradhuman Singh Negi) full of knowledge for somebody who is makes his dreams to be a mountaineer or other semi activities, amazingly he has a ground knowledge of the jungle as well. He have a daily routine of going for walk in the meadows, ask him for a walk in to the jungle surely he takes you along with him, then the value of being with him will come into consideration. Trust me! It will change lift your experience into skies.
We had a very pleasant stay. To our surprise, it didn't feel like a camp room at all. It's more like a hotel room in every sense. Food was very good - Tea and Gulab Jamun to mention some of the best here.
We have books the luxury tents and those were just amazing. The luxury tents though a bit expensive have attached bathroom, electricity and are worth the price. The place is surrounded by snow mountains and has amazing views but it can get very cold here especially if it rains. The food and service here is also very good. The staffs are very polite. And we never forget the walk with Pradyuman sir. He is such a humble person! The beauty and serenity of this place nothing can replace. Highly recommended
Had an unforgettable experience in the Eskape Camps with amazing food and view ️️. Mr. Pradhyuman Negi, one of the owners made us do trekking early morning which was the icing on the cake. Eskape camp should be a must - visit place in your list if you're visiting Rakcham for you peace of mind.
Away from hustle bustle of major town, surrounded by mountains and next to the river Baspa lies this beautiful camp site. Peace, calm and nature in abundance. Delivers excellent value for the money you pay.mr negi, and all other guys who manage this property are super fabulous.just go to morning and evng treks with mr negi. Mr Negi sir relentlessly working hard attending each and every guest!
It was once in a lifetime experience. Never thought that camping would be so much fun and comfortable at the same time. The host was very friendly and cooperative and made our stay very comfortable so much fun. He took us for mountain trekking which was an amazing experience and very informative. Highly recommended. It is worth a visit to have a camping experience.
Was here for lunch on visit to rakcham meadows. It is located exactly opposite the meadows. Food was good, there were lot of options, they took the order and prepared it while we visited the meadows.
Words are less to describe about place service and food eye catching view of nature.specially thanks to Mr. P. S. NEGI for giving us so many knowledge about hilly areas having sound knowledge A man of mountains.very kind nature.will plan soon to visit again. 5 star overall
Location is amazing, it is a tented accommodation. They have attached bath and non attached. Food is reasonable considering the remoteness of the location. Mr Negi one of the co owners is a great chap who offers two hr trecks morning and evening.
The two hr drive from the main road to reach the camp site is a bit back breaking. Innova will be a right choice for these Roads.
Awesome! The service, food, the location. Were like so gooood. Plus the additional things like trekking, it was the cherry on the top. The view from the top, with the sunrise, and cold breeze, probably added up to be the best scenic view I have seen in my life. Also, the staff was really supportive, specially Negi ji, an awesome manager of the place.
Place was excellent and it has everything that traveller need. Staff and owner make sure that every request of guest are fulfilled. Camps were surrounded with serene beauty of nature and near to India's last Village Chitkul. I would prefer and recommend this place to everyone during Sangla valley visit.

Superb Location, Comfortable Swiss Tents, Delicious Food, Warm and Helpful Staff, Must stay place for anyone who visits Sangla/Rakcham/Chitkul and experience the natural beauty of Kinnaur. 5 Stars.
Amazing stay. Firstly, Mr. Negi is a commando, the kind that still rescues other commandos. If you have the luxury of interacting with him, make the most of it. Go with him on his morning hikes, pluck some beautiful berries and listen to his humbling stories. Go do some adventure activities with him.
Food is delicious. Don't miss the local buckwheat pancake and the seabuck thorn tea.
Tip: carry an insect killer if you're too icky about them.
We stayed in escape adventure camp for 26-27 may, traveling from narkanda. Great location in bed of river surrounding by snow clad mountains. Nice neat and clean, cozy rooms with ok washrooms. Food was average we ate egg curry sbut ay this remote location at 10000 ft, good arrangements Service was also average, the owner Negi, was talking feedback from all guests. So location Great Rooms Great
The view is just amazing. Camps are beside to a water stream and surrounded by huge mountains. Washrooms were not very clean but thats okay because You can find a toilet roll there so you can manage. Food was good. You may get a solar light or emergency light at night as there is no electricity anywhere.
Conversation with Negi ji (one of the owner of the property) was cherry on the cake. Thankyou Negi ji for providing us everything whatever we asked for.:)
The best thing about this camp is THE HOSPITALITY. I forgot my apple charger there and they send it all the way back to Delhi through speed post which is really appreciated. The location is good. Food is good. Rooms are very nice and clean. This kind gesture is much appreciated.not every camp owner send their customers stuff back through courier. Really thankful? 5 star ️
Words cannot express my feelings for this place. If you are near to this place then this is the must visit camp. What A view from our luxurious tents. Thanks to the eskape Adventure camp team for a wonderful stay. Love you. Dubara jaldi milte hai.
The whole place is amazing So green, so beautiful With mountains and stream running by Like a picture postcard The camp is warm and cozy With good food Perfect place to spent time with friends or even alone Loved it
Very beautiful, serene, scenic and adventurous place. Camps are very nice, good food, good service, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this camp. Early morning trek with Negi sir was a great experience. Riverside walks were very pleasant. Very nice place, out of the routine world!
Right beside river Baspa and in the lap of the Himalayas, there lies a beautiful camp run by beautiful people. Pradhuman Negi and his entire team were dedicated during my entire stay - how a solo female traveller can be made comfortable and I had not a single reason to complaint; be it location, cleanliness or food quality+taste. I had this amazing Quechua tent set beside the stream outside the main campus which made the stay more special and adventurous. I would recommend everyone to experience the beauty of Rakcham village with Eskape Adventure Camps.
Eskape Adventure camps is a great place for travellers who are keen to explore the beauty of Himachal and stopping on the way to Spiti. The camp is nestled in a valley surrounded by snow peaked mountains. The tents are comfortable and the team headed by Mr. Pradhuman Negi is excellent. The quality of food is surprisingly good for a place with limited connectivity and power. The view outside the tents, the bonfire at night, conversations with Mr. Negi are a few things that will stay with you long after your trip. Please do not expect super comfort or luxury, as you are in a very remote location. All the warmth here is from the phenomenal team managing Eskape Adventures.
Location is superb, location is very next to meadow ground and woods. Staff was good, Mr Negi manager used to take walk or hiking to nearby mountain to every visitor. Pricing is very reasonable taking into consideration every aspect. If you want to spend some time with yourself then it is nice place to be in
Though we have initially booked the alpine tents, we have asked for an upgrade to a luxury tent by paying the difference. The luxury tents though a bit expensive have attached bathroom, electricity and are worth the price. The place is surrounded by snow mountains and has amazing views but it can get very cold here especially if it rains. The food and service here is also very good.
Great place to stay and enjoy your OFF MODE. 1) There is good mobile network coverage in the area. 2) Good Food 3) Excellent views of meadow and mountains. 4) They have extremely polite and hard working local staff.
Very good atmosphere. To stay in tents in such a surroundings, was beautiful experience. The tents were nice (swiss tents) not that much cold, with attached bathrooms. Solar power were there for the heating purpose. Food was nice, and the service was good. The owner Negi Ji, has some thrilling stories related to rescuing operations in mountains (do follow his insta handle: man.vs.mountains).
Serene and spacious surroundings located by the Baspa river, little stream flowing by the gate, mountains all around. In house kitchen. Clean and hygienic tooo.
Good place to rest and have adventure from busy life, good view from the location, optional n paid bon, food is good, exceptional point is owner interaction and knowledge about around and guidance, he also provides guides trekking tours, Go for it
Absolutely serene place with a stunning view. Good location with a gracious host and staff. The roads in the last part of journey are bad but the destination is worth it. It's an adventure camp so you can't expect hot showers but there are basic amenities and network connection. The food is also good. Definitely worth a stay
Stay is super cozy.hot water available for bath.homely tasty food.mesmerizing location.host Negi is a Superman for me.he is a avid mountaineer.he stays at Siachen for six months in winter and take training for indian army people & rescues soldiers from avalanches.very interesting & inspiring personality.he takes some basic survival classes (in mountains) also.
Visit on 25th September 2021, the place is really amazing. The view once u come out of ur tent is just mesmerising. Rooms are very clean and hygiene. Staffs are really helpful. Must visit
We had booked an overnight stay with them. We had booked alpine tents for our stay and had informed that our group consists of males and females. We were looking for an exciting tent stay. However on reaching, we were shocked to see that the tents did not have electricity. Also the washrooms provided were very dirty and the tent covering them were torn at places and did not have any electricity. It is impossible for people to use the washroom safely. One of the worst places we have been to in a long long time. The staff and management does not listen to any of our issues.
Do not recommend this place to anyone. Its better to stay under the sky than book with these people.
The best tents are here. I mostly spend my one or two nights in tents when I am on a tour but the most best and clean tents are here in rakcham sangla valley which is very near to chitkul. The owner of this place Negi sir is also very nice and friendly and he guided us very nice about our trip. The quality of food is very good in this place. The view which I saw in the morning was very awesome which I didn't saw earlier. The place is very big to enjoy. I highly recommend to stay in this if you are going to Spiti valley or coming to this side. Thank you sooo much to the team and Negi sir for making our stay very good. Hope I will again visit this place and meet you as soon as possible. Keep it up! Best of luck.
It was awesome. After coming here, I have helped a lot in bringing a new energy in myself. All the staff is very helpful and well behaved. Mr. P. S Negi is a wonderful man, after talking to him I realised that there are some people in the world who live their lives according to their own.i would definitely like to go camping, tracking with him.i had less time, so I could stay for a single day but I would like to spend a long holiday here.
Beautiful location. Very well setup camp. Comfortable tents. Mr. Negi is a good manager and an experienced mountaineer, coach and rescuer. Very helpful staff. Bishan, Vijay, Tarun and Sachin all the boys are very well behaved and helpful.
The camps are very comfortable and the staff is very generous. Mr. Pradyuman is very helpful and takes care of the guests. We were a group of 9 people and stayed there for 2 nights and didn't feel any discomfort at any given point. The view from the camps is to die for and the food provided by them is cherry on the cake. If in Sangla valley and want to stay in an off beat place while keeping your comfort in mind definitely consider this place:)
Loved every bit of by stay the Campsite.its unlike any other camsite i have ever visited. For starters, they don't promote Borfire, because it's 100% carbon neutral and runs on solar, which I thought was a great idea. It's run by kinnaur person, so u let to know a lot about their culture. Recomended to everyone.
Best experience with Mr P. S. Negi, knowledgeable person with very kind attitude Food Quality was out standings Location is perfect Adventure opportunities are great
Superb, it's like Gulmarg.location of the campsite is nothing less then a paradise. Buckwheat fields on one side, deodar fields behind the camp and then river infront of it.just wow
Amazing Camping Experience. This camp is situated slightly away (approx 200 m) from main road and the main river, giving it a calm and pleasant environment. The view from the camp is mesmerizing with a calm stream flowing and a grass platue across the stream where cattles graze. Mt. Soshla peak can be seen right from the camp along with other peaks without any obstacle.
If you are a Photographer and love landscape timelapses or sunrise and sunset. There is no place like this in whole Rakcham. I loved this place.
The best part is the location of the camp site and the people there are always happy to help. We had a great stay would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Rakchham. Can't wait to go back:)
Went with my Friends, amazing place with quality stay and probably best location inhave seen in Kinnaur. Thanks P S Negi, the owner for amzing storytelling and experience sharing. Cheers
