An absolute disappointment.
Total Fraud.
Seeing the hotel exterior, interior n location thought that d service too shall be great but certainly they didn't live upto our expectations The STAFF is pathetic.
No manners at all from top management to the ground level all are sailing in the same boat.
I wouldn't ever recommend this place to anyone wish they had basic courtesy which they lack totally

Excellent place, very comfortable rooms with views you would keep staring.the place is worth the tariff, best part is their hospitality,
when you have personal attention and get help from the staff, your time and vacation is worth every penny.

Stayed here for a weekend with my family and completely enjoyed my time here.
The resort has clean and well maintained rooms with great view of the valley. The food served is good and their coffee is a must try.

The place is beautiful. The view from balcony is superb. The rooms are spacious and attach with balcony.bathrooms can be modified.service is excellent.the food IA awesome. The staff is very polite and cooperative.overall we enjoyed staying with them

Good place for the view of nature BUT one of the worst experience we had on hospitality front. Some guest were complaining of leaky roofs, the food wasn't great. The hospitality people were behaving as if they were doing us a favour by feeding us. The buffet was limited in quantity. The bread would come late by the time the main dishes would turn cold. The managers would just turn deaf ears towards you and if you insist on something they would turn to the support staff & frustatingly tell them to do it. As if they were helpless in getting the things done. Overall it was one of the worst experience in my life at any of the Hotels.

The rooms were good and gave us a beautiful view
The staff was very polite and Mr Manjeet was very helpful
They gave us good quality food
The resort provided us with the best facilities
for enjoyment like pool table, badminton

In short, I recommend everyone to visit this place

It was really good experience. This resort is really good and the hospitality is awesome. This resort also provide indoor Games and are the services are really good. If you visit Chal please visit this resort for good view as it is located in good place.

The atmosphere is very comfortable. The food is really delicious. The view is beautiful. A very clean and hygienic place, i really enjoyed my stay here! Really recommended.

A perfect and peaceful stay with healthy and tasty food. If you love nature then this is a good choice.

An old Rustic property situated sorrounded by Lush green Deodar, Pine and fruit trees. Rooms are quite large with big balconies to enable its guests to enjoy the calmness, serenity and beauty of nature. You can actually feel like sitting in the lap of nature. Nature plays it's music in abundance in the form of wavering of leaves with the cool breeze, singing of birds and cricket and music of jungle.
Food is very good. Staff is highly courteous, they make you feel at home.
If you want to take a break from maddening croud of cities.visit here to feel the calmness and rejuvenate your body and soul.

An amazing place to spend time with loved ones. Services were on point and rooms provided a mesmerising view of the Himalayas. However, one must have their own vehicle as there is convenience

The stay was good, nothing more I can ask for. The location, the room all was perfect.
Even the staff was very professional and polite.

The food was yummy and great, but the only thing that bothered me was that the food is costly.
So, if anyone is considering to opt for this resort, buy the package which includes breakfast and lunch/dinner.

And, don't worry about parking, they have ample amount of space for that.

Staff name Rohit is very help and always ready to serve, very god staff well mannered and highly professional

It was pleasant staying in Fernhill resort. The famous Kali dibba temple is around 2kms from here. Each staff member was polite. We enjoyed our stay. Good for family n couples both.

It doesn't live up to the prices that have been set. Other hotels can provide way better facilities according to the prices.

Rooms and Washroom not clean at all, the pot was broken, there were hair in the Washroom sink.
No water in washbasin
Service is slow
Over not a good experience at all, will not recommend this property

In the hotel fern hill there is worker named sumit who is very diligent and workaholic and the hotel is also very nice

Hi team, I know m bit late for this. I visited this places around 15th of august and I must say staff was so nice. The whole place is very pretty. Rooms are spacious with great valley view. We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed a lot. Staff is very generous.

Experience was beyond words. Everything was just superb, the veiw from balcony, food, friendly staff.
And most amazing experience Was to see Aamir khan daughter Ira khan staying in the same hotel. 100 out of 100.

Good place to stay.rooms are spacious.no phone in room. I'm giving 2 rating only because manager doesn't deserve to be in hospitality sector. We booked room for one night and requested to confirm next day stay in the morning, which manager agreed.when we went in morning he informed that room has been given to someone else (without checking with us even once) and we will be shifted in another room.we were upset but kinda okeyed but after sometime he said thay he got bulk booking and now we have to move out. What the hell? Pls decide urself if you want to stay.

Ps: As a courtesy, he talked to 2 hotels to shift us there.we never went there and went to Kufari Pacefic resort on our own and it was really awesome place and kind of make up for the morning fiasco.

Best resort in Chail. Excellent hospitality, a true hidden gem. The staff are very hospitable and the owner Udaiveer attends each guest personally. Must recommended place.

THE SPOT TO STAY.

First most thing I wanna tell you about this resort is it’s a third class resort. Very arrogant owner his name is Uday. We were four girls visit their just for a day, we have confirmed our booking from Delhi n we visited there he said mere pass rooms available nhi hai jo h wo lene hai toh lo warna jao yaha se we came back from that place back to Delhi in just one day. Our whole trip spoiled just bcoz of that aas hole UDAY. He misbehaved with us please it’s request don’t visit this resort shameless creature he is.

I visited 2 days ago and stay was very comfortable. We got immediately assistance for accommodation. Food was very tasty, specially Dal Tadka. Balcony View is Very Good. Will go and stay again if we visited Chail.

I visited this hotel first time and it was a great experience. Staff was very polite and cooperative. Food was also very delicious. Rooms are very large and spacious and the view was very picturesque from the balcony. I completely recommend this hotel.

Ultimate view hai boss yaha, come and Enjoy it's a life time trip in Nature, kuch do nothing, sit in fernhill balcony and enjoy Pure Nature bliss. Sumit Rana was a good host.

One of the best resort in chail to stay.
Great hospitality and very comfortable homely environment.

Location wise one of the best in Chail. I stayed in valley view room and that’s the best thing of this property. Mr. Uday and staff member Mr. Sunil were very cooperative. Food (other than Poha, Tea*****) & cleanliness of room is average and needs to be improved. Room service was great. Overall stay was very comfortable. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in lap of Himalayas than this would be a good choice.

Residency - a great location with view to Silver spoon at the opposite hotel.
Food - as per the hotel location, food quality was good and healthy. Could have improved on mutton
Services - a servers were designed to help you with all your needs.
Bornfire - they have a blessed garden with a view of complete mountains. It's a great place to live in

A great place with numerous games, a very friendly host and finger licking food. Largely spacious clean, sunny and cozy rooms with super clean washrooms. Looking forward to come here again!

The hospitality of the resort is amazing. Every staff member is very cooperative.
Hotel manager Mr. Uday is very supportive nd caring. He was available at every call nd everytym. He takes care of each and every guest personally.
They serve fresh delicious food. The view from balcony is superb. I will highly recommend this resort if u r coming to Chail. The resort is near by Kali ka tibba. I will visit again here.

I stayed in Fernhill resorts Chail for two nights. I am sharing my detailed experience of my stay.

Following are the salient points of my stay

1. The Hotel is located approximately 4.00 Kms from Chail and in a remote location but view from the Hotel is very nice (Photos Enclosed).

2. The Hotel is old and was built in early 2000. Hence Rooms carpet and design are old and a little smelly. No extra accessories are provided by Hotel like toothpaste, sleepers, shaving kit. You have to manage on your own.

3. Staff (Mr. Manjeet) is very Cooperative and humble and will do almost anything you request them to that will help your stay more comfortable.

4. Food is okayish. In Breads only Butter roti is avilable.tandoori roti/naam are not available.
Bar is not available here so you have to bring your own liquor.

5. Bonfire is available but it is very expensive around Rs. 1000 for more than an hour.

6. Bike riding at Rs. 100 per hour is available. But avoid it as roads are very narrow and steep.

7. One good thing about resort is located very near to Kali maa ka tibba which is one of the main attraction of Chail and other main attraction is Chail palace which is also located approximately around 4-5 Kms from resort.

8. Parking is available in resort.

9. Place is very quiet and view from resort is very serene.

10. Table tennis sport activity is avilable in resort for time pass.

I hope above points helps you to decide whether to stay there or not.

Rooms were big and clean, Great view of hills from balcony, food was delicious, hotel staff was humble. Must visit hotel.

A Shame to the word of hospitality!

I booked this place for my parents and self for a night and let me tell you it was a terrible mistake. The management and the owner are least bothered as the hotel is extremely smelly and stinking.

After multiple requests, they changed the rooms and it took them 1.5 hours to make an empty room. This one was even worse with water clogging in the washroom and later entering the room. The jet of the toilet seat was connected to the geyser and even after reporting it wasn't treated.

The beds, towels were stinking and when we asked them to change the staff was misbehaving and abusive. Since we checked in, all they wanted from us was payment and check out at 10: 30 AM next morning. Food was even worse as the menu was as basic as a dormitory food.

All in all a pathetic property in Chail and definitely please don't ever considering visiting this place.

First of all it's not a resort. It is a secluded hotel with couple of coloured flags with no other place nearby. The Management is a couple of local guys. Issue of poor quality rooms was not resolved by MakeMyTrip.

They don't even have chairs for people to sit outside. Electricity is erratic and hotel management doesn't want to switch on generator.

They charge 1500 for bonfire citing some weird rates.
100 for playing billiards which is in hotel lobby.

Not a great place to be in Chail.
