Like to come here at least once a year. Lovely hosts like Amrit being interactive and friendly people. Felt like home.

Would love if they would renovate dorm beds from wooden to something strong and stable
and its got the best food in Himachal

Do try Hot Chocolate

Extremely overpriced food.
There are 2 properties connected, one is good.
The other one does not have proper water supply and kind of not well built bungalow.
But the view is great so it's a good place to stay.
The vibe of the place is really good.

Ordered chicken hakka noodles. Not sufficient even for 1 person. And average taste. Extremely overpriced.

Avoid and go to homestays for food. They are warm, welcoming, serve good quality food and value your money.

Absolutely loved this place. Met a lot of like minded folks here and had amazing food. The hot chocolate was heavenly! Other food items we had were good as well! The place is very beautiful and has nice outdoor and indoor seating along with music instruments and a lot of board games to pass time. The only reason i am giving it a 4 star is because, they never had the stuff we wanted to eat. We went there two times, always out of stuff. We really wanted to have that white sauce pasta, never got to have it?

Love the vibe of this place! Highly recommend it! The crowd is so chill! Food is yummy! I didn’t want leave this place atall! Must stay I would say!

Firgun hostel is like a dream. I spent two days here and the only complaint I have is with myself for not spending longer.

The host Abhishek is a great guy who ensures that all the travellers are well taken care of. He even accompanied us on a secret waterfall hike that would be difficult to do on your own if you are not familiar with the landscape.

Don't even get me started on the spectacular view from the common area. You could sit there for hours and just stare at the mountains only to crave more of it.

If all of this was not enough, the food at the cafe is amazing as well. I highly recommend the pahadi chicken curry for non vegetarians and the hot chocolate for everyone.

Room and dorms are clean and well maintained. Can't think of anything negative to say if I tried.

“Firgun is not a place, it’s a vibe. ” Loved and enjoyed my stay throughout. As true as the fact goes that places are made from people, I’d confidently state that the hosts here are exceptional at what they do. Cheers to the Firgun family!

Words aren't enough to describe my experiences at Firgun. Hands down one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The people are amazing the service is fantastic and the view is UNFORGETTABLE! It's not just the stay, but also the food! You cannot miss the Hot chocolate! The food is mind-blowing at this cafe. This was my second time staying with Firgun, and it goes without saying, this won't be my last! #FirseFirgun ️

I’m having a beautiful experience volunteering in Firgun. It’s my home now. The view, the food, the aura, the whole staff which is now a family, perfect.

At Firgun, you will get bestest of the hospitality, view and perhaps music too in Shoja. In fact, the host is that good that you might end up dropping your plans to visit a few places around.: P

However, if you're traveling in winters, you might not find water in your taps as it gets freezed in water supply lines, but, be assured, they'll help you out by providing you with as many water buckets you would need and heating rod to ensure you don't have any shortage of it.

Firgun is On the top and highest hostel on your way to Jalori pass, if you love heights, clouds and mountain views! This is your place!
They have amazing food, try their hot chocalate, Cheese omlette and some kadhi chawal made by sunny bhaiya,
The hosts and staff are very jolly, they will give some good memories to take back, and the corner view which stays with you, Firgun is an experience, which should be done for sure

Best hot chocolate and music taste in the valley. Great place and provides the best vantage point to catch that gorgeous sunset.

Firgun gives a very cosy vibe, with a variety of games like Jenga, monopoly, cards, Uno and art supplies available, you can forge great bond with fellow travellers.
The staff is warm, but I can't say same for the food. It's expensive and doesn't taste that great. I had ordered tea and veg sandwich, it felt more like an entry fee to hang out in their premises.
To conclude, go there for the view, but not for the food.

Firgun is spectacular for its location and warm hosts. Definitely recommend and will revisit.

This place is magical! We went there thinking it’s just a halt, but end up staying for 4 days. The vibe of the place is unmatchable and the hosts are wonderful. It felt as if I have known them since long. ️ This place is home and I am eagerly waiting to go back.

Hotel room prices for homestay style rooms, no backup electricity for rooms either
My suggestion would be to stay somewhere else and come here only for the view, vibe and hot chocolate

Bhai saab wrost experience.
Dirty rooms and Doms.
So much expensive in the town.
There is no water in washrooms.
No lights in rooms.

Their chef don't know how to make rada chiken.
I ordered here for rada chiken and they served me dry chiken

Over all I had wrost experience here.

This place is a gem in itself. You just visit Firgun if you are visiting Himachal, the cafe offers one of the best sunset views I have ever witnessed.

Awesome food, awesome views, awesome hosts, everything is awesome about this place.

Food and hospitality was really good. You'll love this place. The views from firgun is incredible in the morning, evening and at night. One of the best cafes in shoja but food is expensive.

Being at such height, you expect normal pasta etc. But we were surprised to see it and it's taste eat delicious too. Pizza was like very normal which we make at home. Hot coffee was just perfect.

Good place. Food is good. Can have hot chocolate at Hosteller which is approx 500 meters down hill as it is better. Good chilled vibe and view from the open deck.

The simple joy is in having bread omlette and tea with view of snow filled mountains and pine trees @firgun

We happened to reach Firgun cafe after a long day of trekking and it immediately caught my attention.
The venue.the vibe.the way Sahil has kept the place -it felt like a place where I could just curl up with a cup of hot chocolate. Which was awesome btw! The songs playing, the decor and the food - we were mindblown. The cafe terrace looks onto the forest of fir trees and mountains and is a painting in itself! Haven't stayed there but will definitely do so on my next visit.

If you are dreaming of chasing sunrises and sunsets through snow capped mountains and pine trees with a hot cup of coffee, this os the place for you. Far away from chaos, these guys have living space and a cafe admist the mountains, overseeing Dhauladhar range. Food fills my soul and they knew it the best. A property set at an excellent location. Beautiful landscapes can be seen right out side the common room. Ayush's hospitality is commendable. Never hesitant to take another step to make sure your comfort. The Food by Avinash is something to look out for. Dorm beds were good as well. Looking forward to staying here again.

Firgun is a place that made me feel at home. Firgun is magic, the place, the people, the food- it's a place you can't just visit once, it'll keep calling you back. Hoping to visit there soon again.

If you're planning to stay in sojha, this is the place! Awesome hospitality, super comfortable beds, light tasty homely food. You can peacefully bask in the sun and enjoy the breathtaking view of the dhauladhar ranges. Spend hyggelig evenings with classy music. Bonus points if you're a musician, they have some instruments for you to jam. Otherwise there's a plethora of board games to keep you busy. Fooding and lodging costs are reasonable.
In short, perfect getaway spot.
