Fogg hill Camping Parashar lake

It was an incredible trip with mesmerizing views and remarkable service given by Raj and KD. Both of them were extremely polite and helpful. They made our trip aka first trek worth it. We shall cherish this trip forever.

My rating would be 3 and I have reasons for that.

On my trip to Parashar lake, my night stay was unplanned. With no or little internet connectivity in the area, I choose to stay at Fogg hill camping based on the Google's exceptional star rating. I was not able to go through the reviews posted by guest to make an informed decision. Later going through reviews, I understood they are highly influenced by personal presence of the owner (he must be a charmer and I missed his presence during my stay). I missed the trek too as none was conducted.

Certainty the property is not luxury (as mentioned in many of the reviews), tents are almost basic, worned out sleeping bags, dirty pillows, only two rudimentary shared toilets with not so properly built walls with peeping holes, No provision for a bath during your stay.
No exceptional views from camp.
Dinner and breakfast served was fine but served in cheap disposable plates, very small plastic spoons, paper cups for tea and water.
Literally no privacy in tents, We had co guests who were chatting gossiping till past mid night and had to listen to all their rubbish in our bed.

I must say the caretaker (Manu) had a great attitude to serve, eager to help. He assured they are working towards providing better amenities soon.

The mesmerizing views of the Parashar lake and bonfire in camp held me strong not to frown. May be good place to stay for youth, solo or group traveller's

Planned a trip for Parashar Trek for two people (female). Had a great time experience with the guide at Panarsa- Raj and his family. Additionally, the trek guide KD bhai was well knowledgeable and ensured the safety and well-being of us. The stay at Fogg Hill Camping was cosy and its location is marvellous. It had happened that we visited Parashar twice in two days and experienced the magestic view of the lake pre- and post- and melting snowfall.

It was my first Solo trip and I am happy that I chose Fogg hill Camping. Mr. Raj is very helpful, kind and always be there whenever you need him. Every arrangement was upto the point. Our Trek guide KD bhyia is also very humble person, he constantly boost up during the trek otherwise I don't think I could complete it. Please choose Fogg Hill for your next trip, it will be a memorable experience for you.

Fogg Hill Camping has one of the best campsite around Prashar Lake. Raj bhai and his family are really great hosts. KD bhai was more like a companion than guide and told many interesting stories on the way which made the trek enjoyable as i was travelling solo. Everything was just perfect and well taken care of. Looking forward to do more treks with fog hill camping in future!

This moderately challenging trek leading to a lake of mystery with an inherent floating island, considered sacred by the locals is a bliss in winters for a travel freak. We decided to trek through forests from jwalapur which takes about 4-5 hours. You have to reach panarsa from delhi then you dont have to worry at all as raj bhai and honey bhai will take care of all. After breakfast, we started with the trek around 11: 30 am and reached around 4 pm. I would recommend taking woolen clothes that are light in weight but warm and snow boots while trekking in winters. We had our snacks followed by dinner sitting near the bonfire which felt like the tastiest food we ever had.

Fogg Hill Camping is the perfect partner for a fun trek to Prashar Lake. Raj bhaiya and his family are great hosts. Honey bhaiya and KD bhaiya were very helpful trek guides and keep you entertained with their stories throughout the trek. It's a 2-day trek with amazing views. There is a bonfire at night in the camp, where everyone can sit around while having maggi or dinner, enjoying with the group. 10/10 recommend for a weekend getaway.

Since this was my first trek, I'll try to give you the raw details. But last things first, I had a great experience.
We took the Delhi to Delhi package and bus was arranged for both sides. Bus was from a decent operator, namely northern travels. For the first bus experience, it wasn't bad.
Raj bhai picked up from where the bus dropped us off and we left for his village piyun, where we were given an actual full fledged house to change and freshen up, also we left some of our belongings there, which we didn't want to carry on the trek. Also, our hosts were really sweet and humble. All meals provided throughout were decent. From piyun to panarsa, was a small car ride and we started the trek. For a mildly unhealthy person like me, it was difficult at many times but Honey Bhai was there to help and to even cheer up.
Somehow we managed to reach the top, relaxed by the bonfire and had dinner. I would say we did run into some minor hiccups, but Raj and Honey solved them up real quick and provided the best of hospitality. The tents were warm and we were provided with enough layers that we'd look like igloos. Next morning, we left for panarsa lake, it was a 2-2.5 km hike, it was a scenic view. After being back, we had breakfast and started our trek down journey, I felt supported and even encouraged somehow. After completing the trek, we went back to piyun, changed and ate and lastly left for the bus pickup point.
A trip worth remembering!

Mr. Raj and honey made our trek and stay amazing! Everything was taken care of and we enjoyed a lot. They were extremely kind, helpful and cooperative. We had an excellent trip with fantastic services.

Camp are good and good service and location are owsam but only issue is there was no telecom network on this location.

I booked tour for the first time and it was an amazing experience, the tour guide took us from a very unexplored route and it was really amazing. Tent, food and host are amazing too. If u r looking out to trek for parashar lake, u must book this one

Raj was so helpful throughout the trip. The apples provided by Rja bhai were so sweet and awesome. KD bhai as a guide was superb. I was doing the trek alone but the conversations we had passed the time just like that. They were so sweet and helpful. The food and accommodation was really good.
Do try out the experience and come with an open mind.

Everything was managed very well, right from beginning till the end. Guide and staff were friendly and took good care. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Mr Raj and Honey provided the perfect end to end experience for my trek, including food, trek, camping and bonfire. The best part is they you like family. Highly recommended, whether you're traveling solo or in group.

My trip wouldn't have been like what it was if it wasn't for Fogg Hill camping and its extremely humble, helpful and hospitable hosts - Raj bhai and family. I'm not exaggerating when I mention that everything was top notch starting from food till restroom facilities. As a woman, I was reassured of my safety on my solo trip. Highly recommended to all!

A wonderful experience. The views, tourist spots and everything.it's just so beautiful in the mountains.
Chilling water in the lakes, the fresh air, the terrain everything in it is lovable.
As far as toughness is considered. Yes, it is tough too but the experience and joy is far better than anything else you'll ever feel.

Highly recommend this place. Went for this with no expectations because this was going to be my camping experience and here I'm back with so many beautiful memories and learnings. Extremely friendly people, beautiful and safe environment, lovely weather, loads of fun, yummy food and high energy around. What else can anyone ask for!

It was a memorable trip with amazing people of fog hills. We planned this trip and contacted these people for treking and what an arrangement they had done in 1-2 days. We got humble, helpful and trustworthy staff and guide. It was my first trek and I was scared a bit but our guide was very supportive and understanding. The campsite was very beautiful, we got tasty food, awesome tea and atmosphere to chill out with bonfire and interesting talks. It is very much safe to say that we made perfect decision of choosing these people for our journey.

Fogg hill camping site is just magical, most beautiful place and location, clean, safe, with best amenities for such adventurous trips.
