Location is monastery and mountain facing. First rays of sunrise will come in your room. Right at sunrise, you will also hear chants playing in the monastery. Choose this place without second thought if you are looking for a stay in KALPA.

Awesome experience, good space, very cooperative and humble crew, care taker prabhakar bhai is very good.

So lovely and friendly people and their services.its located just beside the monastery and 1min walking distance to Narayan nagini temple.you can all enjoy from your room window along with stunning views of snow cap mountain specially Kinnaur Kailash as well as apple garden.

Amazing experience. Love the views to reo purgyill and kinner kailash. Monastry and Temple are close by. Market and Busstand just a few steps away.

Right next to the monastery.good view and a decent well ventilated room.we didnt try the food so no comments on that.

I reached Kalpa in the evening looking for a stay for my 10 days stay. Found this stay just next to the monastery and in the middle of few shops and eateries.

The view from the room was amazing,  and the morning chants from the monastery soothed the mind completely.

The hospitality and food only enhanced the experience and made me want to return.

Very scenic views all around. Located close to the bus stand. Affordable room fare even for solo travellers. Must try their meals as well (as good as home-cooked) 5/5 for Prabhakar too.

Great location exactly besides the monastery. You can experience the soothing chanting sounds in the morning and evening. Also the view is very good, you can see snow capped peaks from one side, kalpa village from other side and mountain ranges from third side. The food is also very good, very homely food. Overall a very good experience.

The best home stay I ever stayed. Nice atmosphere and hill view is so awesome. They also have a rooftop for partying which makes this home stay most better.

Holistic view, great food, superb hospitality. The place is a bit remote making it unexplored and truely natural. Enjoyed each day I stayed!

Location is near Monestry and Fort. Great views of Kinnarur Kailash can be witnessed easily.

First of all, Kalpa is a place you should visit at least once in your lifetime. Its a place whre you will feel your entire body and mind relaxed. You will see beauty everywhere you look. And if you visit Kalpa, do stay in this homestay. They offer great service and good rooms with affordable rate. Best part is the view from the rooms, you can see the kinner kailash peaks from your room and hear the Tibetan chanting from the monastery just near the hotel.

A perfect location tucked amongst kalpa street with majestic views of Kinnaur Kailash peak. Surrounding becomes pious upon Tibetan chanting being played in monastery which is not even 50 mtrs from hotel doors. Rooms are very neat and clean. It gives quite a homely feeling. Totally recommend it.

Fort View is good choice newish hotel and can’t the beat location. Price is low too. Rooms have fantastic views over a Buddhist Monastery and mountains beyond. Attic room at top has sitting area and 360 degree views. TV. No shower but mandi type set up with guisier that has plenty of hot water. Cleanliness could use some improvement, sheets and towels do not get cleaned after every guest (we suspected), which is pretty typical in these areas. Staff friendly and speaks little English but tries to be helpful. Beds often don’t have 2 sheets but received extra sheets when requested. Cafe can prepare Indian food, eggs, and tea. Power goes out in this town (daily) so keep electronics charged.

Stayed overnight with friends, location is good. Service is pathetic.felt like staying in a hostel. Basic ammenities like hot water was missing.it was basically available as per the owners timing so you need to take shower as per the time set by the owners.breakfast was basic with paranthas kept on a thali. Casserole was missing which made the food cold. Will stay only if I don't have a choice.
