Our stay at Freedom Cafe was nothing short of wonderful. Right from the food, rooms and location- everything was perfect. One aspect that sets this place apart from any other place in Kalga is how hospitable and friendly the hosts Ashin and Nikhil had been throughout. They went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay and were truly passionate about running this place.

Freedom Cafe is an Oasis in the Ocean for those traveling to Kalga. The hospitality and food are amazing. The staff is courteous and warm, respectful and so helpful. The scenic beauty of the place is out of this world! The rooms were cozy and comfortable. A quick hike from barshaini to kalga with a hot chocolate at Freedom Cafe sums up the heavenly experience of the beautiful mountains of Parvati Valley. Ashin bhaiji is a wonderful host, and I would recommend that everyone who visits kalga should stay at Freedom Cafe

Choosing this place for a stay is the best thing you can do to enhance your experience. We stayed for 4 days and all these days we were amazed to see the service and taste the food. After trekking and exploring around, coming back to Freedom Cafe felt like coming back home:) Must visit!

Travelled to Kalga with my teenage daughter, and spent a memorable few days at Freedom. The place seems immensely popular with young professionals. And though we didn't quite fit that bll, the warm vibe, great food and care provided by Ashin and his team made for a most satisfying and comfortable stay. The place has the welcoming ambience of a traditional serai, a haven where one can meet and exchange stories with fellow travellers

From advice on treks to taxi bookings to explore nearby Naggar to a Webex call I had not anticipated, our every request was met with amazing promptness!

Was also great to see that Freedom kitchen made minimal use of disposables.with the growing popularity of Parvati valley among young adventure-seekers, hope initiatives like Freedom will be sensitive to enhancing local livelihoods and protecting the ecological balance of these pristine locations

One of the best places to stay in Kalga. The food here is especially wonderful (Must try Mango Malai and the Hot Chocolate). Also, great views from the place.
