This is an ideal place to stay if you are planning for the Triund trek. Rooms are clean, the chef is good & friendly owner. Roads to this place is not paved and is narrow. Try to reach before sunset.
The name of the hotel is very befitting it's actual position. Room was very nice and view from the adjoining balcony was mind blowing! Even the washroom is view facing.great staying experience and is highly recommended! Staff behaviour is good and the owner Sukhdevji was very helpful and a gentleman! Only negative point is dining place doesn't have a wash basin. Did not matter much.
I would say this is on of the best hotel as per the location non veg food is too good for vegeterians you can ask them and they will cook in different crockery for vegeterians which is quite good.
Is the location of the hotel very good or the view from here is very good is the room of the hotel very clean or the staff respects the guest or the room is very clean or their service is fast
Amazing hotel as the name says, this hotel has beautiful rooms with all the essential amenities. The food is delicious and the staff gives you an amazing, warm atmosphere. The hotel provides a mesmerizing view of the mountains, the sky and much more. I highly recommend to stay in Hotel Amazing View if you visit this place.
Although the rooms were preety big but the room was so dirty and unhyginiec most of the fans didn't work room service was poor and when the changed the bedsheet it was dirty and even had a hole in it.when it comes to food it is ok but you can buy from sunset point near the hotel and vie was good since the location was good itself Too expensive pricing a glass if hot milk cost me 70/- rs.shocking right but you got little choice
A small but beautiful temple in Upper Dharamshala region. It also act as the main assemble & start point for the Triund Trek trail & further upto Snowline & Indrahar pass.
The place was good. The Truind track starts from here after crossing the check post. You can do Campaign here during winter as you can't do Camping on the Triund due to Snow. Guide Name Manu arranges the campaign here. You don't need Guide to track during winter as the way is closed after Maggie Point.
You can easily track till Maggie point and do remember to have Tracking shoes as they are must.
Jai mata di, it's start point of triund trek. You can have Maggie and tea here. But in evening after 6 pm you will find no one, not even taxi to return to McLeod ganj, so plan accordingly.
It's a normal simple place. Also the entrance to the 7km triund trek. This is the last checkpoint before the actual trek starts. Intense connectivity issue are present.
A great and very silent place.we went in a snow fall and I was mesmerized with the scenic view this place has.you can start walking from Mcleodganj till Gallu devi if you want to have a small trek its around 4-5 Kms and the view on the way is just awesome
We did the trek from McLeod Ganj to Gallu Devi Temple. It took us 1hr (3km) to reach there. You can get the taxi also which cost you ₹500 and only 4 people can go in single taxi.
Me and my girlfriend went for a trek to triund top. It got really dark by the time we reached the base camp. At 9pm when not a single person was in sight, bears could have been roaming around us, the light of the temple was what kept us safe and warm.
Awsome place for relaxing, will definitely relieve your stress lavel, rooms are easily available but might be bit higher side during peak. Best part be calm and cold night.
Place was awesome and the views were of another level and i will suggest everyone to trek and reach gallu devi waterfall as well which is just 2 3 kms trek from the temple
It Was Beautiful and Very Warmly Place. The Place was Located Just At the initial Trekking point of Truind. It was located a bit high as compared to Gallu village, The Place had amazing view and was a place of serene. Wandering there made me feel like heaven with peace and calmness embedded in its surroundings which helps in achieving a very good spiritual blessing.
The trail to gallu devi is just beautiful. Cars or bikes can go till the the temple.but the road is filled with stones. To enjoy the beauty of the trail its preferable if you trek through the route.
This is a square point for 4 directions, Gallu waterfall, Triund trek, Dharmakot zostel and Dharmakot market. Loved the view of Dharmakot village you'll get from here.
For the trekking lovers its good place. Road is very rough (September 2019) two wheeler will cause you trouble. If you are going just for sightseeing, a big no.
Take the walking trail from bhagsunag, the way is a bit adventurous. And if you want to go to triund, reach to gallu devi check point before 11 am otherwise you will not get the permit to go further up. View from gallu devi temple is beautiful.
This place is by far my most favourite simply because of the peace you get here. But for that you need the come here in odd times, when most of the tourists avoid this. Else, this place can easily turn into a mad house. During July August, be prepared to r heavy rain and between December Jan there is ample snowfall so if you have kids, this place is a must visit.
Small temple named Gallu Devi Actually it is a pick up and drop off place for tourists to start triund trekking. Mostly people start from Mcleodganj. You can have a break here with tea and Maggie. You can buy wooden sticks for support in trekking, raincoat etc. People all the way are helpful always Nature is always - WOW
If you are starting your trek from Dharamkot side then after 30-45 min of trek you will reach the starting point of triund trek i.e Gallu Devi Temple. You may or may not stop to bow down.
This is a place from where u can start your journey to Triund and snowline track. You may enjoy pranthas here. Before starting your track, don't forget to take water bottles and barsaati. If you can't travel long, you may take stick from here. Everything you may get from here.
If you are going for Triund trek, this is the place till where a vehicle can drop you. People take a break here before starting the trek. You can get wooden sticks, rain coats, Maggi, water and other useful things here. View from this point is also good. But not as good as from Triund top.
This place is the check point for Triund Trek. It is approximately 3-4 kms from McLeod Ganj. Here you can book a cab down to McLeod Ganj or to Bhagasu Falls (if you are returning from Triund). Triund is 6 kms from Gallu Devi Temple and will take 4-5 hours based on your speed. In case you are heading to Triund you can get your refreshments as the prices keep on increasing when you reach at the top. Good Luck and Happy Trekking!
Galli Devi temple is the start point for the trek to Triund. I didn't visit the temple itself, which is a single room/altar sort of affair. The walk from macleodganj is an absolute killer and you might be better off taking a cab. We walked up and spent most of that time wishing we didn't turn down the offer from the cabbies in town.
