Worst experience, they scam you!
Owner stops you while checkout and blackmails to beat you up with support of locals to pay extra money! It's a very risky and scary place to stay not safe not safe

Worst hotel ever never go
They are robers they will charge you extra and fight and bring extra people to fight they are scammers

You will get fab views. From your room you can see water flow and from gallary outside you can see mountains covered with snow and surrounded by clouds. So beautiful honestly.

Our room was spick and span.
The care-take, kitchen staff & the host are warm & kind ppl.

The host was kind to answer all our queries about the vicinity. Also allowed early check-in and late check-out.

The chef cooked tasty, home-like food.

The care-taker was very helpful whenever we sought for assistance.

Words can't do justice to the beauty of the location. Our balcony was overseeing the Beas river & the front door of the room faces apple orchards, splendid pine trees & snowcap mountains at a far away yet sight-able distance. And WiFi was pretty good too.

Located in Charming old manali away from crowd. Its in quite place beside beas river, around trees, rooms with river view. Gigantic mountain range opposite to rooms on other side. Exceptional location where u get silent private place and yet few hundred metres from manali club house & 5 mins to mall road

Ankita host was very courteous, she resolved our issues & the homestay staff helpful.
Food was decent.

One thing to check is there are around 50 steps to climb to reach to property. This might be inconvenient to elders

The young crowd would love this place. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed views, location and stay.

It was as if fate brought me here. My Quest of finding a Homestay tucked away from the bustling crowd (yet not aloof) was satiated here in this Homestay.

I spoke to the owner a day prior and she was very helpful in guiding us to the property and on knowing that I am travelling with my Dad she was very much concerned about our comfort.

The room we got was very warm and lovely with breath taking view from the balcony looking upon the serene Manasu river and Devdar forest spread across the vicinity.

The staff Tike Ram was very helpful and cooperative and the cook equally insured the health and hygiene of the food.

Located in Old Manali, Getaways Stays is a great place to stay while visiting Manali. We stayed there for almost a week during late March 2023. The host Ankita and the staff were very helpful. The place has a JioFiber wifi connection with good quality wifi. Each room has a balcony facing the Manalsu river. You can order food in the property and North Indian food is quite nice. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great place. Not expensive. Very tastefully designed. Great staff and location. Thanks for the stay.
Windows/corridor on either side of the room, so feels very open. Living room TV and microwave is a nice touch. So is the hair dryer.
Perfect location to experience snowfall. Quiet and away from the busy area.

Best best to stay. 100 mtr away from Manali Club house. It has a river side view from the front and the entire valley from the back side. We just loved this place when it was covered with snow

Everything from the spacious room to prompt replies from the host made our stay amazing. Washrooms were extremely clean and had all the amenities in excellent condition, our custom requests like slippers were answered right away. The views from the room was very serene and the background singing of the river really set the vibes. I would recommend this without a doubt to anyone looking for a stay in old manali.

PS - There is a small tea stall near the stairs that lead to the stay, do try siddu there it is the best I have ever had.

If u wanna stay away from the overcrowded manali, this is a go to place for u.serene location, amazing two sided view, one side river flowing, birds chirping and the other side giving panoramic view of snow capped mountains.and the food prepared by caretaker arvind bhaiya is simply mouth watering, delicious and homely.affordable price of the stay is icing on the cake.wud surely love to be back here and recommend everyone to be here, once atleast.

Landing at this property just happened by luck when we started hunting some peaceful place in Old Manali. We have been to Manali countless times, but this was so refreshing in offered pocket friendly budget. Despite having access to all places nearby we were completely away from the crowded locality. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Rooms were so neat and clean with all basic amenities (including sunlight). Staffs were very cooperative and always available on a single call. Apart their kitchen one has access to cook on their own in a separate open kitchen. This place is surrounded with greenery and ambiance you can hear just the sound of river and birds around. No matter with what purpose you are going to stay at this property but one thing is for sure that you will fall in love with this place. Only regret that we couldn't meet the host Ankita personally, but we really admire her vision behind this place.

Locations is awesome, staff and host is very supportive and helpful, had a best stay in Manali.

Nice place to stay.very silent place. But you have to climb nearly 80 steps to reach here. Everything else is upto the mark.

One of the best hotel I ever seen.very beautiful location. Behaviour is soo nice. Food was soo yummy which was made by Arvind bhaiya. Arvind bhaiya and other Staf is soo humble. Very nice experience.

Kind of budget hotel, best view you will get newly constructed building … backyard apple farm

We booked the property for 2 nights and then extended for a week as the stay was very homely, specially the delicious home cooked food. The place is very clean and hygenic and they provide all basic amenities with a good wifi network and power backup to work peaceful in the serene environment. Highly recommended place

Location of the property in Old manali, some 300m ahead of Club house. This is easily accessible through taxis and autos from bus stand (will take you 15 mins). There are 40-50 stairs you have to climb and a 100m walk and you reach this perfect home stay right in the middle of lush green facing the river. Neat and clean rooms with all amenities, common balcony facing the valley and room balcony facing the river. Arvind and Subash are care takers who cook delicious food for you in their kitchen like whatever you want! Nicest and sweetest both guys taking care of you with a smile. You can also call them if you have luggage and they come downstairs to carry it for you. I am surely gonna stay here again! Had a really good and memorable stay. Thanks to Arvind & Subash, and of course the mastermind behind this beautiful creation, Ms Ankita who is a very approachable owner. See you again!

Very comfortable and cozy stay. Warm and excellent service. Arvind bhai requires special appreciation. Good homely food available on demand.this property is above surface level and requires nearly 1km trek to reach the property.

We searched a lot of places for the staycation when finalised manali trip. We found too many places on an internet, but we decided to stay in getaway stays for first few days. (We were not sure how this place would be and planning to search more places) But this stay totally changed our mind and we decided to stay there for a week (then for 2 weeks and finally we stayed for 3 weeks) Having a mountain and river view, this is the perfect place for staycation. Calm, easily accessible to the market and all places in manali, away from the crowd. Ankita (the manager of this place) has been so cooperative since the first day and always helped to accommodate us without any hassle (even though we requested last minute extension) The staff is so great and had a family feel while living here. In house food menu and the cook (Arvind bhaiyya and Subhash bhaiyya) are just amazing with the cooking. So I can describe our stay over here as'Having home like feel while living away from the home'
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting manali.

Spacious with clean and comfy room. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They did help to took our luggage up to the stay as there was few step to climb. Food is manageable and the location was okay. Try to get back before night fall as there is no street light near the stay.

Hotel and service is good but it is not on the surface level you have to trek around 1 km to reach their. Please be aware of this.and it is not mentioned anywhere.
And owner charges for all the things like laundry. 300 rupees. Heater 500 rupees per day which was not told/mentioned. Please be aware of this. And there are only 4 rooms are their. It is private home not the hotel. Please check this before paying amount. Because refund is not available here.

One of the best places to stay in Manali.
Best part is the food that is served by Arvind bhaiya. It's just delicious. Rooms are good. Location is nice. Views from room are so relaxing. Wifi is available. Leisure indoor activities are also there like playing cards, board games, Jenga, etc. It's just you have to climb for 2 min.to reach at the property.

The property has a beautiful panoromic view of the forest and the river from the private balcony. The rooms were clean and service was very prompt. The booking charges are quite nominal and they have laundary services as well at a very nominal charge of 300 rupees for 9 kgs which makes a long stay quite comfortable. Overall it was a very peaceful and comfortable stay at a very affordable price.
