The waiting time can be tiring but it is worth waiting. It is an authentic punjabi dhabha 60 yrs old. The energy of the old aunty there is palpable. Amazing place!
Went there to try their mutton but they said that good quality raw mutton is rarely available in market so they only prepare mutton occasionally, never heard such an excuse from guys who were famous for their mutton since so long. Ordered butter chicken and rara chicken it was not bad but nothing very special either, the keema that rara chicken's gravy has was hardly there.only thing i liked was there tandoori roti coz it was made of whole wheat and not maida. Rest its a very old dhaba and was very famous during our school and college days so because of that name that they made over years crowd is always there but the taste of food is no more the same.
Food was good, but waiting time was one bad point, and hand washing facility is not upto the mark and the one thing that bothered me is that we ordered 2ltr coca cola and it was clearly stated that 600ml bottle free with the pack and when I went to owner for the other offer bottle, she denied and said that we will not avail such offer which I felt cheated as a customer although several cartons of cold drinks were lying at the side, so yeah that's what I felt visiting
Have been visiting this place for the past few years and the food has also been amazing here. The prices are genuine and staff behavior is also warm. Their new location is very spacious & convenient with ample parking space. Definitely recommended for some good Indian food.
Pathetic staff, waiters were busy fighting within themselves and were not interested in taking orders. The lady on the front desk had no clue of whats happening and no control over any situation. On the contrary the kitchen was well organised and the food was really good and fresh.
Handi chiken is my favorite here.other food items are also good in term of taste and quantity. Sitting area is good but in holidays season it gets crowded. You might have to wait for free seats.
Don't really care about what customes wants to have. They will suggest a dish which is quickly available, so that the table is available for the next one at the earliest.
Giani Da Dhaba used to be a fun place offering great variety of food and it came with quality. But over the years, the quality has degraded and it is not so much fun now.
Still, to many travelers it is a hot spot for a quick bite. Go for paranthas or Maggie which are still good but I would prefer to have main course somewhere else.
Really, fingers licking, tasty food is served here! Best place to come with family for a delicious meal. The tandoori paranthas are just too good, that you can get addicted to them, the waiters here are of really nice nature. And besides corona everything here is well organised and sanitization is well taken care of. So must visit for delicious food
No social distance rules being followed, no precautions by staff or even owner is not serious on pandemic time. Food quality was okay, not at the best as it used to be earlier
Zero hospitality When the food is served with love it enhances the taste. Similarly if the food is served with hate and hurry than forget about the taste it feels as if you are not respected. We felt the same. This is a famous dhaba but i wouldn't recommend this place if you want to eat in a loving environment.
This time, I found that the stuff isn't the same anymore. Probably Covid effect! I didn't find 'Aunty ji' at the counter. She is at home nowadays, not too well. So i guess everything undergoes a change.
Waiter was not interested in listening and take even full order. I Tried and requested twice to convey my order but he was kind of drunked and then he finally shown some wired attitude or anger, I don't know what was that. So we simply chose not to stay there and leaved.
Been visiting this place for decades.sitting arrangement is average as there new outlet is under construction. The food is always great and guests are always welcome. Expect slow service.
Situated on National Highway at Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh. On Pinjore - Shimla Highway. Nice place to dine. Open 9 am to 9 pm. Had both veg and non veg food with chilled beer. Menu is limited but had almost all food items available with a good dhaba. Food quality is excellent as compared to rates. Service is very good.
