Very good property, Courteous service, Staff well behaved. I had some problem regarding Cable TV for which I had lodged complaint but it was resolved next day itself.

Comfortable place. Just keep the expectations at par with HPTDC. However great scope to improve the overall ambiance and housekeeping.
The place is at great location with excellent valley view.
The food is awesome and this is what HPTDC always get right.
Try the local food and enjoy the morning walk near the resort.

Great location, good rooms, reasonable cost, above average service.fantastic views of Kuppar peak, apple orchards. On Shimla-Rohru main road. Buses can stop if previously talk to HRTC driver.

The trail to Giri Ganga temple starts at a walking distance from the hotel. Either walk it for 2-3 hours or drive or take a local cab.

Have stayed in this property 4 times till date and really enjoyed all visits, this is located on highway itself and has parking in front of property on side of road itself, market place is only 4-5 mins walk and you can get all type of food options in property also. Each room is quite big and quite comfortable. Owned and manged by HPTDC and like other properties this is also very well managed.

The hotel is on the edge of the mountain with a clear view of atleast a kilometre from the restaurant.
The route is scenic, the weather is amazing if you're visiting in the summer. Close by you can visit Chanshal pass.
The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice and big, and the experience is beautiful.
Visit this place to live few days in the quiet of the mountains!

This hotel is a case study in why government should never be in the hospitality business. As soon as you enter the hotel, you are greeted by an unpleasant odor that has become quite characteristic of HPTDC properties. The hotel is cheap, but then you get what you pay for - or less. The rooms are untidy, the linen does not seem to not have been washed in quite some time and rugs are all stained. The wooden doors have long lost their polish. Walls have stains from continuous exposure to moisture but the hotel staff is not concerned. The bottom of the staircase is an open dumping ground where you can see rotting furniture and all manner of other articles. The common toilet in front of reception is dirty and the towel hanging there had lipstick stains - and I am referring to men's toilet so I am somewhat confused how these stains made their way to the towel. I noticed the dirty towel in the morning and by the evening the towel was still there. The food is a hit or miss. It varies between somewhat palatable to downright atrocious. I ordered poori-bhaji for breakfast and it fell in the somewhat-palatable category. In the afternoon, I ordered matter-paneer and mushroom-masala. The paneer in the matter-paneer was obviously stale and the mushroom-masala was quite literally floating in oil. It is such a shame considering the place had such tremendous potential.

HPTDC - please pull up your socks or leave hospitality business to professionals.

Nice place to have a break and a meal. Food is quality is average. Hotel bang on Highway, very suitable for travellers. View from the dinning hall is very good.

A good option to stay in theog hatjoti highway with ample opportunities of good sigh seing nearby and a bird eye view of jubbal valley.

Very nice & beautifull place to stay over the way from shimla to Rohru. Situated at very peacefull place khadapathar.
This resort is also provided ski adventure as well as ski training for short times.

Hotel is very good prior booking is must as in this area (Kharapatthar). Very few hotels are available.

The hotel belonged HPTDC, had humble staff, only negative point that it didn't have power backup.
