Property is located in a beautiful place, scenic view from the front facing room. Staff, especially Mr Mukesh ensured that we got our food and services on time.

Very nice stay. The staff was very cooperative and helpful. A perfect place to stay for family and even friends.

We stayed in 4BHK and we loved the experience. The place is peaceful, staff is friendly and the view is worth everything you are paying. Go for it.

We recently stayed at Green Chaklu for a 3-day family vacation, and it was an amazing experience. The staff (Mukesh and Pankaj) were incredibly professional and helpful, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we were impressed with the variety of dishes that were available. The property itself was breathtaking with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at Green Chaklu and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Shimla.

Its Ok, food was testy, but you have to gives the pre order for lunch, dinner, room was Large, but cleaning was not upto mark

If you are in need of a break from mad City rush this is the best place to be. The property is located in the lap of pine and deodar trees, overlooking the beautiful hills. Not a single day was boring during the stay. The host was very kind and has made sure all amenities are provided to the guest. We played pool, strolled morning and evening watching the clouds passing by and enjoying the fresh air. It's a beautiful place if you want to spend sometime to relax and rejuvenate. Food and cleanliness was 5/5. Must visit with family and friends.

What an amazing experience! Best part is the privacy that you can enjoy in the mid of a himachal village environment. Naresh is an amazing chef and Manoj is an amazing manager.
Amazing property, location, staff and overall experience

It's a pity that such a beautifully located property is owned by a grumpy, mannerless, and inconsiderate person. The rooms have bugs and spiders. The airconditioners didn't work, there were voltage issues and our group tried to accommodate as much as we could. However, denying one of the kids a meal, especially when we offered to cook ourselves, is beyond low. The staff at the property is sweet, but the owner, Mr. Amit needs to get off his high horse and understand how one should behave with guests.

Beautiful place, well maintained and very good staff. Chef prepared mouth watering "siddu", a local delicacy of Shimla. Our stay was very comfortable and the owner and staff made it most memorable. The property is overlooking mountains and entire Shimla, which presented breathtaking views, there was never a dull moment. All rooms are well maintained, fitted with AC and geyser. They have huge parking place and a big lawn. Very good for hosting functions, get together and parties. Will surely love to visit again.

One of the worst homestays. Not Recommend. Only looks good in pictures.
1. AC’s are not there in half of the rooms. The rooms which have AC, they dont work properly and AC rooms doesnt have fans.
2. Very average rooms
3. Not at all children friendly.
4. Electricity issue.
5. They use tap water to freeze ICE and say it is clean and fresh water didn’t even have RO.
6. MOST IMPORTANT- The owner “Amit” is very Rude. The staff is better than the Owner himself.

The only 1 star is for the huge outdoor space they have.

We were planning a nice hideout from the scorching heat and noise and booked this villa. The property and the surroundings are so mesmerizing that you can wish to live there for ages but as long as you don't encounter Mr. Amit the owner of the property. I had gone through negative reviews about him but just ignored them. He is so rude and arrogant that we were surprised to see his behavior (Thankfully it was our last evening).
The amenties they promise in their property are only for the ones who book 4-room appartment but the guests of 3-room apartment aren't allowed even to sit there even if it's unoccupied by somebody. And the way Mr. Amit handles things is awful.
Big thanks to Mr. Tushar and Mr. Tikkam who did every possible effort to make our stay comfortable.

Dint have the option to give a ZERO Review, else would have given that. AMIT - The owner, has no sort of decency to speak with guests. After checking out, we asked for a parantha for my 1 year old daughter to which he bluntly refused. This was after we had cleared our bills. We even offered that our kid’s help could cook if they could just let us use the kitchen. The only fault of ours, we stayed 15 minutes beyond our check out time.

We paid a handsome tip to the staff, just in case he writes a reply that we wanted any discount or anything to knock off this review.

The property is below average with old and poor quality furniture.

Haven’t bothered to review any property till date, but had such a horrendous time here that I had to make an extra effort to document our experience at this awful miserable place.

If you are planning to stay on this property, you must read the review completely. The villa is beautiful and located at an excellent location, away from city chaos and traffic, very peaceful and serene. But the manager along with the cook could spoil your vacation terribly. The manager, Amit was extremely rude and unprofessional, had no sense on how to behave with customers. We were lucky that the permanent cook was on leave and came back on the last day of our stay, the food was terrible that day but we really enjoyed the food cooked by their backup cook, it was delicious. The charges of various service like camp fire, food etc are unreasonably high, which was again a no-no. And it’s important to mention that the hospitality staff was really warm and helpful. Those staffs made our stay possible, but it came to our knowledge that they keep on quitting because of the manager. Another thing which was suprising was that check in time shown on site was 2: 00 AM, which I understand would be a mistake, even if it’s 2: 00 PM it is way behind the standard time of 12: 00 PM. We reached the location by 1: 00 PM and we were not allowed to even wait in the lobby. We had to spent the time in the sun with the kids for one hour. Such level of inhuman behaviour was shown by the pathetic manager. Anybody visiting the property should make sure to avoid the manager, which is kind of impossible. The confrontation was so bad that I am forced to give one star to a heavenly property. He literally fights and mocks the guests.

Very bad service and rude behavior by the owner Mr. AMIT. They literally spoiled our vacation by their service and the way the behaved. Extremely unprofessional. Not recommended

I think it is not worth a one star rating that I gave.
The area is beautiful however the service standards are literally pathetic.
Mr. Amit is a bit rude. Their chef was on leave and we wr told to either compromise or go somewhere nearby for dinner. As we had no other option but to compromise and eat there, the food tasted awful and not at all tasty. The service is so so so delayed. Their one portion of chicken curry had the smallest 4 pieces only which is not at all a portion size.
The breakfast though was in our package bt one thing ordered comes after 30-45 mins, and till then one has to wait.
Tushar who was on ODC was the one who put his best efforts to take care of us.
Just one person against 6 adults and 3 kids. I mean i feel pity for that person.

Calm and serene place away from crowd. Lot of options for nature walk.picturesque spots around. Nice hospitality. Food variety should be improved. Dogs there are not so friendly. Overall a fantastic experience

This is a beautiful & very spacious 7 Bedroom Villa property. It is situated about 3kms inside from the highway. Has ample parking space with big lawns. The ground floor has 4 Bedrooms with a dining area & big living room & Kitchen & staff room. One of the bedroom has a attic area with a floor bed. All bedrooms on ground floor have beautiful views. Wooden staircase in the living room leads to a beautiful & big play area (which has billiards table & carrom).

3 Bedrooms are situated on lower level which has its separate entrance from outside the Villa. The bed linen was spic n span along with the blankets. The Staff Mr Lavish was always at hand to take care of our needs along with other Staff Mr Bhupinder. Also the Chef Mr Tikkam was wonderful & always smiling & happy to cook out some great dishes. Amazing service & staff is a value addition to this property. A little more basic training to the staff would add to the food experience during meals.

Now coming to the negatives:

The Villa is under equipped to handle winter season guests comfort. The Rooms are provided with small standalone heaters & bedding heaters which doesn't solve the purpose due to low voltage. The Bedrooms need Split Ac/Heater units to give proper comfort.

Another big disadvantage, the living room & dining area doesn't have a heater & the plug point couldn't take the load of a standalone heater due to low voltage.

They should add a few plug points/sockets in room near bedside for mobile charging.
Another suggestion is to please add better quality shampoo/ body lotion bottles & soap in the washrooms.

The Worst part: Bonfire was charged Rs. 2000/- (That's a total Rip off). We have stayed in many villa properties in Shimla, Nainital & Manali but we have not been charged more than Rs. 500/- for a bonfire.

In fact we stayed at Vista Rooms Villa property in Chail after our stay at this property & we were charged only Rs. 350/- for a much better & proper bonfire.

We did try to ask for a price reduction from the property lease owner Mr. Amit Singh but nothing done.

Overall a nice property which needs some value additions to make this a perfectly equipped villa for the Winters.
