Guleria cottages

Back in May 2022 I was searching for a homestay in and around Dharamsala. Got connected with Digital Nomads who manage and run room stays at Gulleria Cottages in Gaggal. During my conversations with Surakshit (the host), I was assured a comfortable stay with amenities like built in kitchen, electricity, Wi-Fi and also they can arrange cab/scooty if needed. I reached there on June 4th thinking that my stay will be just for 2 months but here I am checking out today after 5 months of stay at Gulleria Cottages. This place is home away from home. Surakshit and his wife (Divya) are great hosts who go way beyond to make you and your stay comfortable. There are many families who live there and they too are very friendly and caring. The hosts also respect your space and privacy which is the USP. I only have pro's which I am listing below for anyone to get a clear picture: -
1) house is situated inside village called Sanora but it is very well connected with bus services. You can get any bus from Gaggal which goes to all around Himachal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Manali, Leh, Amritsar, Shimla, Srinagar. 2) The house has all the basic furniture. It has one hall, one bedroom, kitchen with fridge, gas, utensils and attached toilet/bathroom. 3) You can see beautiful dauladhar mountains all the way from your room and your balcony. 4) You will be pampered with tasty food, conversations and chai/coffee by the hosts. 5) They also guide you to plan your itinerary and Surakshit knows couple of offbeat places which he can guide you. 6) You will be invited for lots of dinner parties where you will see the host and other families cooking some yummy delicacies.
This place has grown on me and I definitely return soon.

This is a very very wholesome place. You get peace and nature around you. The hosts are super amazing and welcoming. They will treat the guest like a family. I loved the place and would recommend everyone to visit it

It was a very pleasant stay at the cottage. The hosts Surakshit and Dipu really took great care of us. The cottage was clean and the food was delicious. The place is surrounded by trees and nature. We are surely come back again!

Well I must say it's a wonderful place to relax and chill while your even on a work mode.
Apart from this the atmosphere and fauna has always been the USP of Himachal Pradesh Kangra Valley.

I have been to over a dozen of home stays but this one stands out and thus I am writing a review. Firstly, thanks to -DIGITAL NOMADS for hosting the tour for my entire family at beautiful unexplored places. Cottages are hotel like luxury and comfort with home like kitchen. The places is not too far for getting essentials (as we were with my two babies) and not too close to the market to disturb your experience of being in the mountains. The way DIGITAL NOMADS has handled our one month tour is simply perfect. They were welcoming and always compatible to our dynamic demands during the tour.

Well constructed. Experience the serene environment, fresh air of Himachal Pradesh and of course not to miss out on the sheer grandeur of the Dhaula Dhar mountains.

I had been to many home stays in Himachal, but this one was the best in terms of over all experience. Kitchen garden was the best attraction.
