Gypsy House Cafe

We had a very nice time enjoying the scenic valley from the balcony of the cafe. This is a quint little place overlooking the lush green valleys and the snow clad mountains. The food was excellent. We spent the night sharing experiences with foreigners stating there. Overall we had a bunch of unforgettable memories when we packed up for our next Trek.

This place is really beautiful surrounded by nature and mountains. If you want to do the Kheerganga Trek it is a good start point.

All the staff is very friendly, they look like a big family! They can cook for you and help you anytime. They are all artists!

Gipsy House is your home away from home! The vibe is incredibly cozy and you feel warm even in the fresh Parvati nights - also because the tandoori room is always ready to welcome guests inside.
The time we spent there was unforgettable, also thanks to the amazing people that keep Gipsy House alive.
Music is a constant at Gipsy and that helps to warm the soul too.
The landscape from the balcony is soothing and watching the sunset or the stars from there is a perfect way to spend your evenings.
Last but not least, the food is suuuuuper tasty!

This place is magic! It is a beautiful combination of community, creativity, and eco-conscious practices. Apart from being a wonderful place to stay with beautiful vibes of the area and easy access to surrounding treks, there is a natural emphasis on community through music session, delicious meals, and a space for everyone to vibe. They also have an ongoing project to combat the plastic issue on the trails by stuffing collected plastic water bottles with the litter to create “plastic bricks” that they use to make things (ex the fire place seating circule is constructed of the bottles!) It an amazing space, cannot recommend enough.

I stayed there for 1 week and it was a beautiful experience! Eco-minded place, they care about nature and environment. People working there are kind and helpful, it is nice to chill, make music jam session and talk with them, also they can suggest tracking routes to take in the mountains around. Food is very tasty too! Hope to be back one day

Gypsy Trails is at one of the highest points in Kalga from where the view is absolutely breathtaking. It is a warm welcome and you will find Mushy, Duke and our latest addition to the family, Maya. Three beautiful dogs at the homestay. The host is extremely polite and warm. You will instantly feel comfortable and cosy as you settle in. The food is yum and they have a tandoor room where you can sit and chill while it is cold outside.

In terms of essentials, the property is constantly kept clean by the owners, the washroom as well and there is availability of hot water too.

From here you can trek to various points like Kalga, Kutla, Bhunbhuni, Kheerganga, Nathan Village, Pulga and Tulga.
The walk is calm and serene as you walk up the mountain terrains with amazing landscape in your sights.

A must visit if you are in Kalga for peace, beautiful landscapes and absolute comfort.

What a lovely stay that I had at Gypsy House Cafe: my plan was to stay couple of nights but I ended up staying a few weeks!
Kalga village is such a beautiful town and this house is the last one, after that just forest!
Ismail and all the crew are lovely people and they made me feel part of the family since the first day, which is what made my experience even more special
The food made from the kitchen giys is on another level, one of the best that i' ve tried so far in my several months of travel in India!

Had my best time in parvati valley here. Place receives the late sun during which was amazing to sit under and watch the clouds flow over the snow capped pointy peaks. Godspeed to Charlie bhai and Deepak they make you feel like home. In my 2 week stay i never felt like a guest but a part of gypsy house.

This place for me is so much more that i cnt even put into words, if you are coming to kalga pls go to gypsy and enjoy the positive aura with beautiful landscapes and kind hearted people. This place taught me a lot and I'm totally grateful to visit. I'll visit soon.

Beautiful in it's own kind, didn't expect the way they taking care of people, mind blowing hospitality.

Place was surrounded by gorgeous peaks and can see parvati river flowing down from the place.

One of the best warm stays in lap of Parvathi valley, Kalgha. This property is conscious about their plastic waste and they are taking a steps to run it eco-friendly. I would really recommend people to experience the Hospitality and peace at Gypsy House. Hosts here are warm and welcoming. They are so many beautiful hikes and places to explore around.

I had a very incredible and special time here. You are surrounded by amazing views of the mountains and everyone was friendly, welcoming and accomodating. This is a great place to stay for going on any of the popular treks. Highly recommend and I'm definitely planning to come back again. Please check it out!

Excellent experience in gypsy house cafe. The location is ️, far from other cafes and homestay's so you get quite place to stay. The view from balcony is very mesmerizing and the beat part was Ismail bhai, who is an excellent caretaker and a even better cook! He is very helpful and a very kind soul.
The rooms are also quite cosy with 2 big beds in our room. You can get food and beverages in the room itself (the food is costly but thats expected in a hilly place). But the rooms are quite cheap.
Overall would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting kalga/kheerganga.

Setup is good and location is nice. I enjoyed my stay for 4 days, would visit again in future.

We loved our stay at Gypsy House. It was located at the end of Kalga which offered a quiet & peaceful atmosphere and a great view of the mountains beyond. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The host Ismail is very friendly and helpful- plus he makes delicious food!
