Hattu Peak

A place on top of the hill with an amazing 360 degree view and a wooden temple of Mata. Book a taxi if you're not experienced in driving on hills.

Visited Hatu Peak last weekend and it was an amazing experience. The view from the hilltop was absolutely magnificent, offering a panoramic sight of all the surrounding hilltops. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape.

Best place for star gazing. If you are lucky and the weather is clean then you can see the mountains of the spiti also. This place is at the top of the mountain. You can drive here but when it is rainy don't think to take your own car, prefer the taxi. They will charge ₹700 for 4 persons for up down. If you are planning for the all day then I will say you must reach the peak with walk. At the top there is a Temple and a famous spot known as "Bhim ka Chulha" (Bhim's food preparation place). On the way you will find multi camping sites.

Place situated near narkanda another tourist attraction. Feel the peace in the lab of mother nature, highest peak of aera surrounded by oak, Devdar jungle, lush green grass in summers whlie in winters everything covered by snow.

The 3400 mt.high peak point is located at a distance of 6 km from Narkanda, Shimla. There is a hill top with enchanting panoramic views. The weather is cool and awesome. The famous Hatu temple is here at hilltop. Its all amazing!
The road leading to here is a single road, and can be slippery and dangerous in rainy season. I would suggest trekking to here than driving by yourself. However local drivers are expert, they may help you

Bestest place to visit. Calm peace n nature. Driver should be skilled. It has around 3400hght. There is a hattu devi temple n apple farms. Must visit place.

A must visit attraction close to Shimla. If you wish to enjoy snow in April.from it one can enjoy the spectacular view of snow clad mountains.and the beautiful temple on top is a real wooden masterpiece. A perfect ideal spot to spend time in tranquillity.

It was a wonderful experiance. We were the only couple on the hill all covered with snow. Tracking on snow was very adventurous to reach to the Hattu peak.

It can be visited/ accessed all round the year. But during December end and january mid, there is very good probability of snowfall and hence one should be well equipped with the requisite gears to deal with such situation. All throughout the trek u will get moderate cellphone network availability (even u can do video calling).

Its too much cold there around -4 to -5 at evening, don't forget to wear tracking boots, too much slippery there

Its good place to visit while there is snow. Other wise road is very narrow and needs some repair too. Very good view of High snow covered peaks of Himalya.

Mesmerizing views, worth putting all efforts in climbing this peek. You can see 360 degree view of snow capped mountains of spiti valley and dhauladhar range. All in all worth living experience.

Hattu peak is a straight trek of 6 km from Narkanda. Although the cars do go but the road is so narrow that only one car can pass at a time. The road is surrounded by dense cover of trees mainly deodar and teak. Occasionally the road is covered with cover of snow. At the end of the trek the Hatu temple is situated named after the goddess Hatu. Brilliant views of Himalayan peaks covered in snow can be seen from the temple. If the weather is clear kedarnath peak can also be seen. Big rocks are also placed which are a major tourists attraction. People form far away come from Hatu temple to pray to goddess. It has a beautifully built temple built in wooden structure with goddess resting inside. Parking is a big issue here. Normally people leave vehicle just 1km from the temple and go by walking as the road is congested over here. Cottage is also here for emergency.
