Himachal PWD Rest House

I had the privilege of staying at the PWD Guest House in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, and I must say, it was an impressive experience. Situated amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Himalayas, this guesthouse is exclusively reserved for government officials, making it a secluded and serene retreat away from the bustling tourist spots.

From the moment I entered the premises, I was captivated by the grandeur of the building. The spacious rooms, adorned with local artwork and well-furnished, provided a comfortable and homely atmosphere.

Me with couple of friends and family stayed at this guest house located around 15 kms from Bir Landing site. It’s a typical Govt guest house, the built by the look of it is absolutely luxurious but the facilities given in the rooms allotted to us were Basic, after all what much can we expect in 300 to 600 per night…. But the location was awesome as with all the Himachal PWD guest houses. Overall a satisfying experience. They offer to book a few rooms online as well but they have a PWD office abt 8 kms down where you can also go physically and book a room….

Pwd is what it shows. 2 good rooms and everything else is stuck still since construction

From outside I must say it's too nice and interactive but from inside rooms are too dirty and even service is not good

A rest house near by lad bhadol, with a good staff and good service, visit here to take their services

Spacious place, nice location, spacious room and bathroom surrounding is also very beautiful.
