Himachal roadways transport corporation which is also known as HRTC is one of the best service providers in Himachal Pradesh. The bus timings are very sharp. Their buses move at exact time as mentioned in their website. They also have stoppage at 1 place for 20 minutes for lunch/dinner and others stops are of 5 to 10 minutes only. There are good washrooms for male and females. There are also cloak rooms at their bus depots. We can also get tea, snacks, wafers, juices and coldrinks at their depots

Government bus depot of Manali managed by H R T C, you can find a bus from here for palampur, Mandi, Shimla kullu, banjar and for many places, not clean and well managed bus depot but overall not a bad experience I travelled Manali to Shimla at morning Volvo, they have well behaved staff with good behaviour, overal good experience at Manali bus stand
