Himani Chamunda Devi Mata

One of the best place to meet yourself… Peaceful … Please, its a Yatra and please go as a Yatri and not as a trekker or hiker.

Best for moderate hikers, stone huts available in the path to stay, distance is 9km. Solar lights, a shop, water availability is also there. (Worth going with family/friends)

It's a very long and difficult track. I will not suggest it for beginners.we were almost stuck at the midnight.there was no light, no directions and on every turn, we were finding it difficult to get to the correct road.though.this is a very beautiful place.if u can track then u should visit.when we go on the top, it feels like we are above the clouds. There is only one refreshment point that too at the end of the end of track.it gets closed after 7 PM.so u should be very careful as there are wild animals also.one should try to complete the track before night.

We do bhandra (भंडारा) every year from the last 27 years and such an amazing place spirituality.

A must do track. Amazing experience and specially tea of each and every shop. You will find a different but brilliant taste

It was a cool place to hang and have a fresh breez of outside world have treck and other cool things to enjoy and visiting mata mandir having camp outside full flame view and other all things etc etc, you should really go and enjoy it.

This is an awesome place for weekend. When other places are hot then on this place temperature is cold. This temple is on very hight. Many people's are came here for visit this place. Around 1 day for climb these hills. Many people's are came here with her family friends and children. Many people are camping here late night.

Jai mata di, awesome Trek. Carry tent and sleeping bag with you if you are planning night over stay.

If you want in the lap of mother nature then came here and enjoy the great scenery of Himalayas.

Aadi Himani Chamunda is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shri Chamunda Devi, situated in Chandar Bhan, Jia in Kangra Valley,  Himachal Pradesh,  India, in the Himalayas.
The temple environs are of outstanding natural beauty and for that reason a destination for trekkers
Aadi Himani Chamunda Temple (3185 meters) is located on a hilltop North East to the existing Shri Chamunda Devi Mandir in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. One can reach there after hiking about 13 Kilometers from Dharamshala Palampur state Highway (Jadrangal Village) and 8.5 Kilometers from the last motor able road at Kardiana. The trek to Aadi Himani Chamunda Devi requires about 6–7 hours and moderate expertise is required. Devotees visit the sacred shrine throughout the year except winters.

This is one of the most beautiful places in my life, peace can be experienced here, the journey here is as difficult as it is memorable, this journey is about 6 to 7 km, the climb is very difficult. But such a beautiful memory, I would like to stay there forever, Jai Mata Di

The temple stands at the height of 2900 meters and it is believed to be the ancient seat of the famous Chamunda Goddess. This trek offers you a spectacular view of the mid Dhauladhar ranges as well as the Kangra Valley.  The trek can be completed in one day and you can even stay at the temple premises. You can also pitch your tents at the top but be advised, this place often sees sub-freezing temperatures even during the summers.

I think One of the best place to visit in Himachal such an outstanding, untold journey of this place like the people very much, People from different areas visit mostly in summer season, The weather is too cool at altitude because this place is very much close to mountains (Dauladhar range) or it is even, The way is somewhat tough because no source of transport is available ; and I think that's the reason of people being liking it, because they find time a lot of time to talk with their friends, villagers and close relatives, and this place has its own identity which grows day by day, I also travel at once and wish to go to there again. "Jai Maa Himani Chamunda".

7km rough track will make your legs rock solid but worth it or you can take the easy track with is 14 km and well for elderly people.

Temple is very beautiful and ancient. Wear good gripping shoes as the solpe is nearly vertical. It will take 5 hours to reach over there u can stay if you want it is safe, food is available but sometimes its not better to take backup options available. Overall place is worth to visit

Such a beautiful place. It takes 4 to 5 hours to reach at the top. New temple is building over there because the old temple which is made up of wood is destroyed by the thunderstorm and the striking of the light from the clouds. Now they are building a new solid temple. There is water shortage at the top so you have to carry a lot of water with yourself. You can also meet with Gaddis in the trek.
