One of the best places so far to stay & Chill in Bir and loved the way host Utkarsh was taking care of everything.

The host Kapil is a drug addict alchoholic psycho, the place is so unhygienic, the only good thing about the property is the view, everything else is so messed, Kapil is the biggest leech that sucks the soul of the place abd your peace of mind. Don't ever check in this property if you are seeking for peace.

Beautiful hostel with warm, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious and clean dormitory and rooms. The vibe of the hostel has been the major attraction for me. There are many cozy spaces where you can chill in peace. Matar masala parantha is a must try from timtim's cafe. Highly recommended place for people seeking comfortable and affordable stay with a view in Bir.

The Bir hippie hostel in Himachal Pradesh is a hidden gem. The staff are warm, the atmosphere is inviting. It's a place where you can truly unwind and connect with fellow travelers. It’s fun to chat with Kapil.

It is a place with a good view and spacious rooms which can adjust 3 people.
Main highlight are the owners, Kapil and Alaknanda who are cordial from the day you call them as random people to actually becoming their guests!

A good budget hostel in Bir. The building and rooms look lovely. But the bunks are not as comfortable as in some of the other hostels. The washrooms are okay. It has got both forms and procedure rooms. Locket facility is available here. It also has a restaurant in the premises. The food is decent but quantity is on lower side. Overall if you are right on budget, then you can definitely stay here!

Awful experience. I booked for 1 month and ended up leaving after 1 week because the area was so noisy. The staff got very aggressive, shouted, demanded money for the inconvenience and physically withheld my things. They threatened me with complaints and the police. Such harrasment. My taxi driver was not allowed to come near me and they demanded my passport and got into my face and shouted at me. Abusive staff. Called me a liar and a back stabber, just because I chose to leave the property for something nicer. I was forced to pay 3000 ruppeee extra just to be able to leave with my luggage intact. Never stay there again.

Came here for a day, and stayed for 5 days. Genuinely had a very nice experience. The owner is very cooperative.

It is the best place in Bir Billing, whether you are looking to work from mountains, take a break from work, or Re-live the hostel life. Well, in my case, working from here was indeed the best thing. And after work or during breaks, you can have meaningful interactions with people who come here solo or in groups.

The rooms, dorms - all are neat and clean. Wifi connection, common rooms, indoor activities, food, parking, water - all perfect. Above all, "In-budget".

I came here for 2 nights but I stayed here for 2 weeks, not only me but many people.
This place is paradise for people doing WFH, clean rooms with a great view of BIR, bonfire with interesting people, cafe with good food, big campus and very supportive staff.
Hipostel will never let you get bored.

This place makes me feel like my home away from home since I spent my summers in bir vacationing and chilling. The summer menu at the Tim Tim's cafe had lovely drinks?

I love the accessibility and atmosphere of hipostel as it is very convenient to get access for activities like paragliding and trekking.

Great time for Paragliding would be Summers, swimming at machhial is highly recommended. There is gunehar waterfall nearby which is very peaceful in the morning, Also visit bari at evening.

One can go to the landing site for the most beautiful Himalayan sunsets, they are breathtaking and with so many people flying, it just leaves you amazed.

Cafe hopping and visiting monasteries were my interests. Amma di rasoi is a nearby place if you miss food at home. Have authentic home made food and appreciate the good vibes.
Garden cafe makes my day.

Bir has so much to offer, it keeps you there.

I don't know whether it is a daily thing here, but when i stayed here on weekend people are partying just outside the dorms playing heavy music till 5am in the morning. Not able to sleep properly.
Common room is small and cozy but not sure one can work there on workation. There are lot of posters everywhere in common room stating NO SMOKING even then manager himself smoking in the room.

Not recommended for people on workation and looking for peaceful stay.

Perfect place to stay in bir whether you're alone or with friends. Overall setup, vibes, hospitality, everything is perfect. They offer a variety of rooms which you can choose as per your budget. Also it is close to the market.
Kapil and the other staff is really helpful.

I stayed here for a month, and this place has an extremely cool vibe, the host Kapil is very polite and helpful, i would recommend it for longer stays and the location of the property is at the right between local bir road and the landing site.loved my experience here.

Hipostel bir is probably the best place to stay in Bir. Not only it has awesome ambience or 360 mountain view along with flying paragliders, but it actually tells you how to be carefree when u r on ur vacation.if it's bir, it's hipostel bir. Period.

There are some places where you travel and there are some places where you stay but if you get a place where you feel like your own studio where you can do whatever you feel like doing Hipostel is that place staff and owners are like friends and family to me now specially Tim Tim

I can assure you that it is one the most chill place in the whole town, roof has an amazing 360 degree view, cafe is always filled with people, always laughing and enjoying. You will never regret booking a room or a dorm at Hipostel.

Amazing place to stay, chill and relax. The food is amazing, the hospitality is top notch. They are organising a music festival on New year eve. Plan your trip accordingly. They too have a projector room and that is Dope.

My stay at hipostel was amazing. Its an amazing property with great open space and rooms are neat and clean. Kapil is an amazing host and will help you out with anything. Daily bonfires are like cherry on top.

I visited bir and stayed at hipostel on 30th and 31st of October.

The rural hippie stay is an absolute vibe! It is one of the very unusual and cool places I’ve ever stayed at. The decor of the whole place in itself can make you feel vibrant. It’s a total riot of colors Which is adding a different spark to the whole place.

In terms of the comfort and food, I stayed in one of their rooms and had a very comfortable stay. For food they have a restaurant where one can go and order anything. I loved the North Indian food there and dal makhni and Puri bhaaji were my absolute favourite. And yes coffee, ️

The staff is very friendly and the host Kapil is a very genuine and witty person. He helped us with a lot of information we required on our trip and also organised the paragliding for us with XOLIDAYS (Instagram - @xolidays) which was a safe and an out of this world experience.

The evening vibe at hipostel is something. First, you can't miss the 360 degrees view from the terrace and the most beautiful sunsets. Second, There are some great singers and musicians jamming live most of the time which can make your stay very enjoyable. I used to stay up late sitting in the balconies simply drowning in the melodious tunes.

All In all, I was greatly happy choosing hipostel. It’s a very AFFORDABLE choice for us youngsters with total comfort and entertainment when you’re at the stay. Also, very approachable and connected location, very close to the paragliding landing site.

This is the best spot I have stayed in Bir. The hosts are unquestionably acceptable. The energy of the spot is by and large the thing you're searching for when you're voyaging. They're pet cordial as well. Alll the staff and everybody are extraordinarily helpful.

UNCOMFORTABLE stay, WORST service, the staff is RUDE & the place is EMPTY as there are no guests! I’d recommend you to opt for any other hostel but not this as the hostel is also not properly developed, the beds are broken, the washroom stinks, the walls are damp & the vibe is quite boring! Please for any other hostel/ hotel but not this. I had a really bad time. Do not suggest any of your friends to stay here. Thanks!

The moment we entered the hostel! We felt amazing vibes. Open spaces, common room to keep your stuff while waiting for check in. Owners are really cool, friendly & helping. Location is nearby chaughan chowk. We met cool people, made new friends. Had a wonderful stay here. Will come back again!

I stayed at Bir Hipostel for one night and it was a very pleasant stay. The place was very near to Bir road which made it quite accessible. The hostel was well equipped, good WiFi, nice staff and a super chill vibe. If you’re planning to go to Bir, do plan your stay at Hipostel.

This is the best place I have stayed in Bir. The hosts are incredibly good. The vibe of the place is exactly what you're looking for when you're traveling. They're pet friendly too. Alll the staff and everyone are incredibly helpful. The view from the hostel is mind boggling and so is the location, which is a perfect blend of isolation yet close to the market.
