Restaurant is situated at the mall road which is absolutely pleasant. All the items which they have Honey is present in that and that is of good quality. I was surprised seeing less ratings. Honey was provided separately so that you can add it as per your taste buds. Restaurant staff's behaviour was good and the food presentation was also great. I would definitely recommend Honey Hut.

SOY milk coffee and VEGAN blueberry muffin! This cafe is cute with nice seating in and outdoors: we visited three times whilst in Shimla! The cold soy milk coffee is delicious and so is the warm muffin. Nice staff too

The place is nice and cozy. We tried garlic bread, brownie and green tea. All the items were good.

A Small and cozy cafe set up with lovely interiors and exteriors. The apple pie was huge and perfectly done. The blueberry cheese cake was a bit different from how we get it in the city but very tasty and well prepared and paired very well with the crisp base. The coffee can be better but is not bad at all and added to the experience. A perfect place to enjoy dessert and coffee with your partner or with friends. A must visit place when in Shimla.

Honey Hut is situated at the center of the Mall road just alongside Khadi Emporium. They have consistently improved their quality and taste over the years and have fabulous service to date. I have tried many options from them but my absolute favourites are the Kashmiri Kahwa, Pineapple Upside Down cake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Banoffee Slice, Cappuccino and Mocha Frappe. The cake slices all taste heavenly and are always fresh. The coffees and teas are good and everything is served with a jar of honey on the table. The staff is sweet and very courteous. The space is quite small and limited tables are available. It's a perfect definition of a cute cozy cafe. Seating area is also available outside which gives a beautiful view of the mall road. The price range is average, similar to what you would pay at any other cafe / coffee shop.

Definitely try their in house lip balms which are incredibly moisturizing and made of beeswax.

Lovely cosy cafe with nice atmosphere, good music and friendly staff! Cakes are really good as well as coffees, teas and fresh juices. It's the only cafe we went back to twice.

One of the finest cafe in Shimla. It is located on Shimla mall road and has inner and outer seating. It is a pure veg cafe with mountain view from inside and mall road view from outer seating. If you are planning to visit Shimla, this must be in your bucket list. You must try their Pineaple upside down cake, white sauce pasta, almond milk cappuccino and honey ginger tea. The best part of the cafe is their service. They serve you with a smile and are always there to help you.

While the location and the ambience of this place is great, the food is almost as underwhelming. We ordered the red sauce pasta, a pizza, cheesy fries and an ice tea. The pasta was nothing but watered down tomato ketchup with too many veggies. The only edible thing about the pizza was its base. The ocean ice tea tasted like center fresh.
They really need to change their recipe.

A pretty café in an old Raj-era structure, the Honey Hut has beautiful teal walls with a white ceiling and wooden flooring. There's an outdoor seating area with cast-iron garden furniture, great for people-watching as the crowds stroll on the Mall Road, that runs past the café. I preferred sitting by the window inside with expensive views of the beautiful Shimla hills in the morning light. I ordered apple pie with icecream. Honey is offered gratis with every dish. The apple pie was fresh and delicious! The honey was like the icing on the cake! Absolutely genuine and organic, as befits a café that sources organic honey from a non-profit working to supplement farmer incomes through beekeeping. I couldn't resist ordering a Blueberry Crumble. I'd never seen one before. It was best not ordered. The cake doesn't have much of blueberries and is fluffy and eggless. I'd to lubricate it with honey to down it. I'd definitely recommend the apple pie with icecream, and the good value hot and cold drinks in this charming café with friendly, chatty staff.

Ordered two lattes and one cappucino. Had to get two coffees changed due to burnt espresso flavour.

A stron coffee does not mean overflowing the the espresso from the same coffee powder.

Had apple pie and banoffee pie out here during our shimla visit. And it was super tasty. Staffs are friendly and have a quite vast menu to try on. This falls in mall road of shimla and is 10mins walk to lift of mall road shimla. Try this small cosy cute place for its bakery items.

Food was tasty but got all of us sick. We all got diahera and stomach ache. We loved it while eating there but later it's a totally different matter. I feel like puking thinking of that desert again

Pretty good food and a nice concept of using honey in place of sugar in all recipes. The taste was quite good, but not great. Situated on the mall road and is a small joint with both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee and complimentary chocolate was good, but apple pie was not the best.

Overhyped place. Coffee and honey lemon ginger tea was below average. One can make these items much better at home. French fries were too oily.

Delicious beverages and snacks. The uniqueness of the restaurant is Honey made food items or they serve everything with honey. Owner is polite in nature. Visit once if you want to taste Honey in your food.

Great experience and warm people would definitely visit again! Tried a burger and the saffron milk here, both were excellent in taste and generous in quantity. The cafe has a sit out adjoining the mall road or a view overlooking the valley which is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and capture a timelapse.

Delicious cake and coffee, had the rich choco truffle slice for anyone whole loves chocolate and had it with honey Americano.

I was looking for a baker for my daughters birthday cake. As I was new in shimla was struggling to find a baker who can customise the cake accordingly. Honey Hut bakery shimla made it. I shared a picture and the cake was exactly same. The taste was just perfect. We ceabrated our daughter's 3rd Birthday. And it came out to be just good. Thankyou Mr Thakur for all your support and cooperation from the fine details till the delivery on time.

Cute little place at mall road. Each nd everything on menu had honey in it.we had honey kahwa, honey pinacolada, honey saffron milk, red sauce pasta nd most amazing dish was honey masala idli. Staff is friendly nd welcoming.nice place to visit.

Tasteless and overpriced pizza. In the name of veggies, all they had were capsicum, onion and tomato. Very disappointed. I don't recommend this cafe to anyone who prioritises taste over the feel.

Gr8 place to have your coffee with honey. Very small place with limited seating capacity. Walnut pie, apple pie are superb. One of my favourite place on Mall road always during my visit to have my expresso shot with honey. Most of there offerings are made of Honey, which is quite evident from there name. Having sitting arrangements outside to have a feel the Mall road view. Grilled sandwiches are also good. Very hygienic preparation with their politeness. Very good behaviour and always attending with smiles.

I have tried almost all the hype cafés in Shimla but Honey hut is my favourite one. I have visited this place quite several times and my favourite is Honey butter toast, Cappuccino and Pasta. The frappe was not as good as expected.

The interior is super cosy. They have indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements and for mountain views, indoor sitting would be the right choice.

Located right on the Mall road after the fire station. This is your alternative to CCD which was closed when I was in shimla, the drinks they offer have a honey twist, no sugar which is healthy for everyone. The prices are quite nominal. The view out side the window with a tea/coffee in your hand is absolutely amazing. The staff is also very well trained and sweet!

This place is really beautiful and located on the mall road. You can enjoy many different desserts and beverages here. They use honey instead of sugar. I really liked their apple pie with icecream and brownie with icecream and chocolate syrup. The staff is very courteous and the view from both inside and outside of the cafe is amazing. Well I have poured honey for the first time in my black coffee and it tasted wonderful ; the honey itself tasted so pure. Hats off for the idea! Also the fruit mocktail was absolutely splendid.

This one is quite a distinct cafe in Shimla, with a warm & cosy interiors. They also have a good place to sit outside, which is almost on the Mall Road. Located right at mall road.this is one of the cute looking place I found in Shimla. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. From indoor you get beautiful view of green mountains and outside seating gives you the happening feel of mall road. Place is hygienic & clean, Staff is also very nice and cooperative.

First day, we had "Banana Slice Cake with Ice Cream and Honey". It's brilliant. No words can describe it. Supremely amazing!

Second day, we had perhaps the best #ApplePie ever. A perfect taste of Apple and Cinnamon mixture. And when they served warm it melts in a mouth as quickly as the vanilla melts.

Third day, we had "Blueberry Slice Cake with Ice Cream and Honey" and we repeat "Banana Slice Cake" but this time with Whipped Cream.

I repeat, a must must must visit place!

To be honest, this is the place that made mall road special. I mean you always need a place to sit back and relax, and this place has it all.
Food is good, tasty and good looking to. Must visit for awesome food and good view.

They serve the best non milk tea. I was never a fan of non milk anything, but i think i like this one too much. The ambiance, service, view, taste everything was pitch perfect.

Unworthy Place. Over-hyped.
Ordered 'Honey Cinnamon Saffron Tea' which was made using a tea bag (no real stuff) and taste was pathetic, Honey milk was normal and so were sandwiches.just like any other cafe. Tea was big letdown.

This was the first time we tried coffee with honey. And to our surprise, it did taste good. We picked up some great chocolates and cookies. Which is really nice.

The place is extremely beautiful. The burgers are to die for. I had their peach ice tea and then later ended up buying handmade soaps and peach tea bags (which can be brewed in cold water) from their shop. The restaurant has a beautiful view and also sells many types of honey!

Lovely little place in the Mall road, got lots of experimental and tested flavours with honey. Tried their honey cinnamon tea and apple walnut honey salad - commendable quality and taste. They also sell orhanic bottled honey, in different flavours, such as orange honey, honey tea, honey with nuts and so on. Friendly staff, definitely worth a visit while in Shimla.

A very cosy and comfortable place to chill in Shimla weather, their organic honey products are also worth the price. The sunset view with a nice warm cup of tea can really set the mood.

We had masala ginger tea, cappuccino and masala idly at this awesome place. Nice ambiance, surrounded by lots of honey pots and a herb garden. Served by Ms Sonia who was very hospitable.
