Hostel Cozy Beds - Budget Hostels Tent Rooms in Kasol

Hostel is overall nice. Rooms were good, beds were good. Washroom was big but wasn't upto mark. There was restaurant too but no room service. The view is amazing, its river side and the view is great. You can meet some amazing people staying there. There was good cafe or restaurant, must try. Overall good stay and it is almost located in the center of city, so you don't have to walk much to visit main cafes etc.

Clean, near to market, all necessary facilities provided, great location and aswm view from balcony.

One of the best place to stay with a group, food is available at the place, walkable distance to market but only issue was with Electricity which will piss you off.

Sumit. I can't thank him enough. It was my solo trip and while retuning from tosh my ankle got injured. Somehow I reached my hostel and this guy helped me a lot, called doctor, providing meds and rolling crepe bandage, taking me to the washroom, asking his staff to provide food on bed so that i dont have to walk downstairs, he arranged cab for me and carried my bag and helped me to walk down the stairs. He did bcoz I had no one else. All his staffs were also helpful and sweet.
Also they have a great chef.

Now about the hostel. Its very clean and you will get beautiful views of mountain, deodar trees, parvati river

You will feel comfortable here. The community manager is awesome. Markets accesible 300mts. Bike rentals 200 mts. Get high and chillax. Few caveats - for fetching water you have to go to the ground floor, same for wifi. Also airtel and jio are slow in the deluxe rooms on the first floor. For that you will have to head to the ground floor where junta generally collaborate.

Hotel owner is rude and staff is not co-operative, shared toilet in this hostel are bad and only one single toilet for men and women no separate bathroom, charged us way too much then the actual price for room

The behaviour of staff was not good. It took 1.5 hr for them to decide room is available or not. In the end I have to take other place

Worst experience. I would have given negative rating, but there is no option. Worst behavior by the employees and poorest hospitality. They behave as if we are staying for free. Owner is good with customers but the person in charge is really bad. We visited here based on the review, but it's totally fake reviews, in overall don't prefer this stay.

The rooms are big with 4 bunks but there is no option for fan or heater in the room. Basically you will be sleeping in ice cold bed. The manager is not so friendly but the staffs are very helpful. The approach to the hostel is a bit dirty and looks as if it was abandoned! The good part is the view of the river is amazing. You come out of the room and you have the river in front of you.

Dorm are small. Comfortable for gang of boys to stay for long. The view is breathtaking outside the cottages. The river is so close to the rooms.

I would give negative review but it's not available owner Deepak is fraud and rude, we had pay 1700rs for room per night and they gave us shared washroom room, one single washroom for all don't believe all these reviews it's all fake. There are better option available in kasol.

Star only for river view, always carry your water bottle with you. Don't expect any place there to sit and read

We spent 2 nights/3 days here in a private room and it was decent stay.
Pros:
1. Ample parking space
2.10 mtrs distance from parvati river. Closest possible
3. Good views
4. Near main market
Cons:
1. It's a hostel so no room service
2. No seating in balcony
3. Hot and cold water doesn't come together in basin (it's either hot or cold)
4. No hand towels

Loved the place! The friendly staff - Ruchi n sumit will treat u like a family and you'd love to go back there again n again. The kitchen staff is also very friendly and apart from the beauty of the place this is also a factor that keeps the place up n running. Would love to go back and stay whenever get time. Did not gi e one more start because they have 1 toilet for more than 15people that's too much. All though the place was clean- no doubt

What I liked about this place is the cleanliness of the dorms. Secondly, good hot water supply and wifi! I personally feel at hostels more than the food, hot water supply and wifi matters the most.

One of the best hostel experience that I've ever had. The hostel is located at the banks of Parvati river and with the majestic views of the snowcapped mountains. Sumit Bhai and Gopal are both welcoming and always ready to help you with anything. The cafe at the hostel serves some of the best food. The hostel was budget friendly and located very close to the main market. All the cafes are located at a walking distance from the hostel. If you're planning a trip to Kasol, cozy beds is must.

There is a river at the side of the hotel, can hear the gushing noise in your hotel room.

The one the best stay at tent full on hard core winters host ruchi was too friendly everyone at this place will great you. The location of tent and rooms is fantastic nearby to Parvati valley washroom are cleaned I really enjoyed, next time am sure will book same place.

Worth spending time and budget free

Stayed there in superior deluxe room which was quite comfortable and spacious. The place is situated right at the river bank. Good parking space is also available. It is a hostel so room service is not available but care taker is very helpful and cooperative. There are places which takes food order on call. The main market is around 300-400m away which makes the place very peaceful yet accessible. There is a place right next to the river where you can enjoy morning tea or friends gathering. Overall amazing place and value for money.

A great place to stay. Parvati flows just behind the hostel. One of the best place to chill and rewind.

The place is cheap and in a very good location, right next to the Parvati river, I could walk everywhere to see the town, and for farther places, I took the bus, which is in a pretty convenient distance from the hostel

Location is just amazing! Everything is just so beautiful when you look out. 500m away from kasol main market. Beds are clean and cozy. Good hospitality. Cheap price. Overall a amazing value for money!

Nice commune areas. Nice breakfast. Control for hot water was in the room. One guy of the staff is really helpful to answer questions and make bookings.

Perfect example of a hill stay, The scenery was beautiful and it was a calming experience to be in such a peaceful environment. Great Staff with excellent service.
Its a really good place to take a break from busy schedules to relax and enjoy the nature

It was a perfect experience for me. The place is very nice and cosy as the name suggested. We stayed in the female dorm which had soft and comfy bunk beds with free wifi, and the washroom was also clean and sanitary. I can say that this was one of our best backpacking dorm room experience.

Very very very bad
First of all staff is very bad they don't reply properly and if you ask for something first they say they don't have. For example heaters. First I asked for it they said they don't have it. Then I contacted booking agent (for 250 per heater) then he told me they have it but for 400 per heater then I have to call the agent again.
Then their rooms don't have a proper light. They have 8 reading LEDs and told us to use that. And they only have 2 heaters which is not at all enough even for a singal room and they run a hotel with 2 heater
Bathroom Doors doesn't shut.
They have electricity problems so geysers are useless.
The hotel is at riverside so view is good but it's not worth all the problem and rude non helping staff

We stayed here for our weekend trip to Kasol for our son's birthday. Loved the place and its serene and tranquil beauty. The staff was very kind and friendly and we also loved their Continental Menu.

The room is nothing like how it's shown in the pictures. I had booked the room for 4 nights and ended up only staying for a single night as the room was horrible. I stayed in 2 other hotels in the same locality during this period and the rooms were miles better and were even cheaper than this. In Cozy beds, the bathroom door wouldn't shut. In the freezing temperatures only a single blanket was provided and the hotel representative was least bothered and had a horrible attitude. I would definitely not recommend this hostel and I think there are way better ones out there which can give you a better experience in kasol. This review is regarding the double rooms available and not the tents and the dormitories available.

Amazing Stay Good Hostel.when entire kasol did not had electricity this hostel had generator backup and rooms were clean. Would surely come back again.

The tent rooms were a pleasant surprise. It's very adventurous and exciting to sleep in a tent.  The feel of the surrounding was good as it was right next to the Parvati River which also makes for some nice Insta pics. All in all a refreshing place to stay for travellers to stay and relax.

Would not recommend anyone to go here.
Door knob was broken as well as the batroom had no latch. We had to get a heater which was barely working. Due to no electricity there was no hot water as well. On top of this the staff was rude. Overall a bad experience staying there

Must Visit when In Kasol good hostel with excellent wives met lot of travellers and made new friends rooms were neat and clean with hot water in cold winters they even provide heaters for the night.

Quiet and peaceful location by the river and the mountains, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nature. The staff was also very helpful with whatever we needed to make us comfortable. And the food was also way better than expected!

Nice place to stay when travelling with friends and the staff is also very understanding and they helped us out with the queries about the nearby places and the food at their food was good too. I would like to try out the tent rooms they had, interesting idea.   I would recommend Cozy Beds to anyone who is visiting Kasol.
