Best hotel. Loved its ambiance and vibe.
Rooms, services, staff, everything was awesome.

This hotel would be a perfect destination in solan if you want to enjoy great view with a very professional and polite staff. The breakfast was included and have multiple options like poha, allu prantha, vada sambar, Bread, jam, omelette and coffee tea. Deluxe Room was very spacious with clean washroom.

Horrible place. Fit for dead people. Run down unkept place. No maintenance. Photos speak for themselves. Need a total makeover. Only the hilltop is an attraction. Nothing else. Food was bad. Got sick.

Among all the other hotels rearby BAROG HEIGHTS is situated in the BEST location.
The staff are also very good especially the MANAGER and Reception.

Never fall for their cheaper rates. Worst experience. Most pathetic filthy room i have ever seen in my life. To start with no one to attend at the parking or at the reception, insects and stains on the curtains, dust and old rotten woods work. Pathetic washroom with literally as shown in the pics. Smell in the room. I called the person at reception and told about the problem he was okay with it h le said all the delux rooms we have are just the same. Wow. That's means the misleading pics you guys put up on mmt are totally.fake.guyd donnot book this hotel. It's a disaster. Complete mistake. I have all the pics with me to prove my points.

It was an amazing experience in Barog heights. The road was little risky. But
If you know how drive in mountains, go and enjoy the view. Food was also nice

Food quality is soo poor. And they don't even change their blankets for every new guest that visit there. You will always get a cold food without taste.

Hotel has a jaw dropping view for hill lovers. Staff behavior, services and the food is icing on the cake

Awesome location and great food. Buy being a Government Hotel you should expect the service to be of Sarkaari standard. We went for Breakfast. But after sitting and waiting for 40 minutes we were informed that breakfast won't be served before 9am. We had already asked them about availability of breakfast at 8am and they said yes.

Good place to visit good tasty food good hospitality though service is slow but good to explore.

Nice stay in super deluxe room with bath tub.food was good, service was very slow at breakfast time as people have to wait for bhatura's. But breakfast was awesome. Ambience at night was super.

हमारा 24 अगस्त से 26 अगस्त 2 दिन का हॉलिडे ट्रिप था कमरे धर्मशाला से भी बदतर स्थिति में है गर्म पानी किसी रूम में निकल रहा है किसी रूम में नहीं निकल रहा है पूरे होटल का कचरा किचन में भर कर रखे हुए हैं 8 दिन में गाड़ी आता है तो कचरा नीचे लाया जाता है अगर आप किचन देख लेंगे तो खाना तो दूर की बात है उल्टी कर देंगे

OH! MAN THE VIEW WAS AMAZING.specially from the top corner rooms.room no. 300.
Fare is ok about 4 to 5 k includes good breakfast.
Else the kitchen services n hygiene is not as expected.
Rooms quality is old but views commensurate the other things.
Ask for fare reductions.
Nearby down hill punjabi dhabas are good for tea piranhas n others.
Barog railway station is a must see place there.

This place is pretty and views are awesome but service is quite slow as whole of sitting area is outside and also the lady who sits on reception is very judgemental. We went there as group of 4 girls and she was telling us like there is nothing to view and you should have got a guy with you blaahhhhh.
We were shocked to see such thinking coming from someone who is working on such a posh place. Anyhow food was really tasty but service is quite slow. They need to work on management surely.

Located on top of the hills. Beautiful place to visit with family and friends. About 70 kms from Chandigarh. Hotel location is so perfect that you don't need to go anywhere, just awesome views from top of the hotel. You can relax and enjoy the views from hotel only. Mountains views, sunset and sunrise are stunning one can't miss it. Nature lovers must visit

The hooligans dancing to very loud music at nights in hotel lawns is not only dangerous for an othrwise serene surroundings, but also quite curse evoking for decent families coming here to stay in search of peace and relaxation. Pls don't waste your money and time, those aspiring for peace.as it's impossible to sleep with such unworthy screams around.

Great views. Food is delicious. Rooms are getting renovated, earlier were very old and outdated. Service is little slow. But worth a stop for having weekend lunch.

This place is very beautiful. Old is gold and renovation is very well. Staff is very coperative and helpful. Food was amazing and location is like a jannat. These hiils are giving a 360° view. These places are chandigarh-ambala, #churdhar, #karol ka tibba (Solan), chail, Dagshai, #kasauli hills and far away #the himalayan range. Weather is good in summer also.outdoor sitting and play many games like table tennis, fuss ball etc.must visit again

Cons: Old rooms smelly dirty curtains, furniture bad, sofas smell bad, the biggest was Breakfast First it starts at 9 am so if u have early flight forget it, No quality at all Choley Bhature people have to line up and wait for turns, uncooked prantha n Few banas jus to show fruits n very bad quality Juice. 1/10 for Bfast. Not for international travelers.

It was my first stay at Barog Heights, No Doubt Hotel is good for its Location, but my experience with the stay is pathetic. Food quality 0, i ordered Tandoori Chicken but it was totally burnt like a coal. No doubt they cancelled it after i told them, after that when it comes to sleep, there were a group of people and kids, whole night they were playing and shouting around the Balconies and Corridor. We have told reception area as well but they did not took any action. Whole night they were doing the same. We can't even sleep. So my feedback for the hotel is Poor.

One of the worst hotel i have ever visited. No one even bothered to take order if you are seating in their restaurant. We waited for atleast 30-40 minutes for someone to come and take order but even after complaining they were like ara hai banda ara hai but no one came so finally left.

Loved our stay here. It's a great hilltop hotel. The staff was lovely and courteous. Would definitely recommend this as a weekend getaway.

A must must visit place. Beautiful scenic view from the top. Outdoor sitting, swings for children, restaurant that serves good food. You can also play foosball and Table tennis over there.

One of the best places you will ever visit in your life, at a height of 6500 ft the view is absoluetly magnificent, the staff is very humble and the service is excellent.

The hotel has a good view and the staff is courteous. However, the food is average and the room have not been renovated since along time. Also, the bathroom was really dirty and shabby looking.

Located at the old kalka shimla road, expensive traffic plans with all the facilities like gym, hot water sona bath etc. Kitchen is available here. Clean room and quick service.

Barog heights Hotel is must visit place in the Solan District of Himachal Pradesh. The view of solan District from this hotel is very beautiful and charming. Best place to visit with family, friends and your wife. This hotel is on the top of the hills where we can have the view of entire solan city. Best place. Hotel Barog heights is at 4 km distance from the Barog train station and it is at the 9 kilometer distance from the solan Shoolini mata temple.

The food was below average, the staff is untrained, the location is the best part about the hotel. The room service is poor. I would have given 2 stars only, the additional star is for its location only.

The stay was awesome. I want to thank Ms. Shanti Saklani for her courtious behavior and helpful attitude. Personnel like her are boon to hospitality industry.

Delapidated, run down, and getting worse by the minute. Walked out despite a booking because of what was visible even from outside, and confirmed when entering the lobby.

It is a old propoerty. I was there in June'19 and many rooms were under renovation. Though I got the newly renovated room but infra was still average in new rooms. Food was also OK with limited options. Staff was very polite and courteous. Location is awesome and they have roof top open air lounge. Evenings are just too beautiful. Overall decent place for 1 night stay.

Very good view. Height is equal to ridge, shimla, spacoius rooms and good activities. Food was also very good.

Badig heights is a nice to relax the whole day with lovely food and drinks. The cool breeze is surely gona mesmerize you. There are both indoor and outdoor eating area with 1-2 swings for children to enjoy. Overall it can be good economical place to stay while on way to shimla or just to spend one full day out with your family if you stay nearby Chandigarh or Kalka.

The hotel is well located and the weather is great! However the hotel allowed a DJ in the common dining area booked by a few guests on both Fri and Sat. One goes to the hills to enjoy the nature and the peaceful surroundings and not to listen to haryanvi DJ playing with drunk guys dancing in the common dining open terrace. Not just this, the music was so loud that even on the top floor we felt like sitting inside a pub in the city. Totally ruined it! And the owner just to add extra bucks to his pocket allowed this party causing a nuisance to almost 80% of the guests with such disastrous music playing till 10.30 pm from 5pm onwards.

It was our first time stay at this hotel and honestly we are happy and satisfied with our experience here. If someone is looking for a quite place with peaceful and serene views within budget.this is it. Its located on a hill top and surrounded by Barog valley as far as you can see. Staff is friendly, service is fast, food is great and rooms are spacious.
We were given a newly renovated room. It was spacious and all the rooms comes with valley views.
Part of hotel is under renovation and will be open soon. Restaurant and bar definitely needs upgrading. Overall
it was a comfortable stay and my 6 year old son also liked it.
Will definitely recommend specially if you are visiting with your family.
