Had one of the best stays at hotel Batseri. Beautiful location, fantastic service and delicious food. Had a wonderful vacation here. Loved the stay.kudos to all the staff.

We fell sick due to the cold and weren't able to enjoy the stay to the fullest. Nevertheless for the period that we stayed, had a good experience. The view from the hotel is unbeatable. The surrounding village is so clean! Also rakcham, chitkul are very accessible from the hotel and make for very good day trips. Food is good but what makes the experience great is the staff. The staff is so helpful and courteous. They did whatever they could in their capacity to make us feel better.

Wonderful and amazing experience of staying here two nights after the thrilling driving journey of reaching this place. The food is tasty & delicious and the staff behavior is good. Once you reach here there is 10 minutes walk to reach at the property

The best hotel at Batseri. We stayed here during our visit in 2018 and we consider it as one of our best experiences in HP. The first floor, front room balcony offers a spectacular view of Soshla and Baspa river. If you are at Batseri, it's a must stay place. Couple of people made our stay very special at Hotel Batseri and they are Abhinav and Mr. Thakur, the owner of the property. We had an opportunity to visit Mr. Thakur's house at Batseri village and we would never forget our short visit to Rakchham with Abhinav as these made our trip memorable. Thank you very much for your warmth and hospitality. We wish to come back soon.

Very nice and quite location for family stay.
I think one of the luxurious hotels in the area.
Staff is friendly and humble. Rooms are of good size with balconies and front facing have a great view of river and mountains.

Nestled between mountains, the place provides an excellent view of mountains and the river flowing right in front. The walk to the hotel thru the apple orchard is beautiful. The rooms are cozy and all amenities available. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! A must visit place

A heaven like place, river is flowing just by the side of hotel. Awesome location in the midst of the mountains. Very well-mannered staff, food is delicious in the restaurant. I have never been to a better travel destination than this.

I think its the best hotel in kinnaur district.cant believe a 5 star hotel in such a remote area.the owner helped and guided us in many ways.he even accompanied us in breakfast.good luck to sir.hope to see u soon

As it is surrounded by gardens and apple orchards, insects are aplenty, though breakfast time is 8 to 10 am they do not prepare on time thus delaying your schedule, all hotel staff vanishes at 10pm and come only after 8am, nobody is available to look after the guests or even give water or tea.hotel rooms are nice and comfortable as heating of bed is available. Food is ok.very beautiful location.stay recommended

The place is at a great location with scenic views. A gem in small place called Batseri, facing Baspa river. Though you don't have any direct accessibleity to river from the hotel.

The premium rooms are large, spacious with good views. Not all rooms have balconies though. The room has all the basic amenities. Electric blankets were provided. Bed was comfortable and linen clean. This is a new property. They have created space for television and refrigerator to be provided sometime later in the future.

The staff is courteous and polite and service is great.

The food is decent and has variety. Paneer was little sour.

I felt tea and coffee quality was a little compromised.

Hotel Basteri is an amazing place situated on the river bank and in apple orchards.awesome view.nice n clean rooms.food is very tasty. My husband forgot his jacket Mr. Negi sent it through courier. Best place to stay in Sangla.

It's a great property located in an apple orchard. The front of the property faces the might Sutlej river. Lots of green area around and it's peaceful. The parking lot however is ample, but, about 300 meters from the hotel.

Neat and clean, Hotel Batseri is nicely isolated amidst orchards and offers a stunning view of the Baspa river. Superb food as well. But for the price they charge, there are no inter coms in the room, no reading lights, no television in the rooms and a rather stingy supply of drinking water. Being a hotelier my self and having had visited Batseri Hotel for the second time, these things definitely pinch.

Admist the mountains and bang on the bank of spiti river. Though you have to walk around 700m to the resort from the car parking. Roooms are spacious. Food is also good.

Its a good place to stay at Batseri. I find it a bit overpriced, 8 k per day including dinner n breakfast. Stay was comfortable, food was very tasty. There’s a 400mtr trek to the property.
The road to the parking is very steep when you are coming to the hotel try to maintain steady speed to come up as the elevation is very much and the steepness downward when going out.
The staff is very good and very helping.
View from the room is very nice.

Amazing view from the room. Staff was very courteous and helpful specially the Manager, helped me to walk to the car park to get some thing urgent during cold night. Gestures like this tells you the staff is amazing. Food both dinner and breakfast were super delicious. Kind of food which is hard to find in such a remote place. Price for this place is worth it! Would love to visit again!

The hotel is beautiful, along with its super scenic location. The rooms were very clean, and inviting.

Everything became even better with the super courteous staff, especially the manager, who helped us right from check-in, to providing such all essentials.

And I cannot praise the food enough, the hotel has an amazing chef. The snacks, dinner and breakfast - cannot complain anything at all. Even the simple french fries were best we had.

Wow what a view. The wooden structure of the hotel is very beautiful, apart from the surroundings covered with snow. Well maintained and clean. Approach to the hotel is a very long walk with some muddy, snow and stony pathway. The hotel faces the river and the view is amazing. We visited this place with a very large group in the month of January. No water will be available in the pipes for bathroom usage, only buckets of water sent to your room upon request. Food was very tasty and yummy. Chitkul being the last village at this region with an Altitude of 11,320 feet was an overall amazing experience.

My stay at hotel Batseri was nothing short of a dream location with amazing hosts!
The location itself is breathtaking. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the place.
The staff took our utmost care. The food was scrumptious be it veg or non- veg.
The hotel staff arranged for us local trekkers to take us around the nearby villages and scenic forest walks!
The room we got was the river view. It was well kept with all the necessary and complimentary items. The water was available 24X7. Room was cleaned everyday. At night we use to open the windows and sleep hearing the calming healing river sounds!
A big shout out from my side to hotel Batseri and it’s affable environment!

We stayed in Batseri hotel for 2 days and it was a perfect rest in between our adventurous travel. The rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful. Rajesh has been a gem guiding us on things to see nearby and introducing us to the crops they grow.

Hotel Batseri is a hotel par excellence in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, sumptuous food n very warm n ever smiling staff ready to help at all times.
We travelled as a group of 10 friends n every one had his own choice of food. But staff was so good they served us whatever we ordered with a smile. Food was mouth watering whether veg or non veg n continental food too was excellent!
Hotel is on a height so has beautiful views of Shoshala Peak in front, river Baspa flowing majestically n apple orchards. It has a nice walk through apple orchard to reach the hotel.
Hotel rooms are spacious with nice balconies to sit n enjoy the nature at its best.
Rooms n bathrooms are absolutely clean.
Bed linen n towels are absolutely white n fresh.
They change all the linen n towels everyday. Every minute detail has been taken care of.
Every evening we enjoyed the bon fire n interacted with fellow travellers. There are nice treks for trek lovers n we enjoyed going for morning walks through the Batseri village n then into forest n enjoyed interacting with villagers.
Our stay there was a very pleasant n memorable one. Brought back beautiful memories of our stay?

High price.
They don't even have proper water facility, we couldn't even take a shower there. Worst experience waste of money.

If you want to set yourself free you must visit this place once
Although it's a remote area and very fewer stay options but Hotel Batseri is quite placed well in this location, you might feel costlier but it worth for Nature

This is an extremely over priced hotel.
The only one good thing we experienced was the staff was very courteous.
Negatives-
The restaurant food is very disappointing.
There was hair on the bathroom floor and on bedding when we checked in.
There was an unfinished glass of alcohol in one of the cupboards!
The views from the hotel include multiple JCBs digging up the river bed which is a total turn off.

Hotel is at good location but the price they charge 7k and more (without food) is just too high for this property. I have visited so many properties in various secluded beautiful places but this doesn’t deserve to be at 7k (5 star rates). Rates should be around 4k max.

Nice property with hospitable staff. Food was good in taste but need to maintain hygiene since I felt some grit and the drinking water was also not clean. I understand that it is in remote area where there is scarcity of water but a filter should be there for drinking water and water used for cooking.
And I think the heater should be included in the amneties, since it is a cold place throughout the year. It is just a suggestion nothing good or bad about it.

A Perfect place to stay. I never thought that I will be able to see such a nice and maintained hotel in Sangla. Loved the hospitality of staff. Food was also good

What a hotel between himalayas range on both side, plus a river view is surplus.

Little expensive but better you book in advance. Property is well mainteined and very spacious.

We 4 friends booked this hotel and had a really lovely time.
