The room was spacious but there was a smell from the washroom which was discomfort and their food was not good.

Rooms very perfect and hygiene was maintained well at the property, Service for dinner was little slow on the whole this place is perfect for a family vacation gone for relaxation

They have renovated there property now. Great view. Even breakfast has many options. Service was really good. Rooms are spacious.

I am not sure why this hotel is having 4 rating. I stayed there from 1st of June till 5th of June. Hotel is right on the road and please mark it.this is a hotel.not a resort. No other facilities. If all you care for a good clean mattress and a place to sleep, this is the place for you. I booked a family room and was surprised to see two large beds (pretty spacious room per se) and everything on the surface appeared good and well maintained. The moment I opened the toilet door, the toilet pot didnt had a hand spray. When I enquired about the reason why there was no jet spray in this age and day, the answer given was absolutely crazy. They said, sir, we had clearly stated that this is old wing and toilet pot hence does not have a hand spray. Although their hotel pics showed hand spray in toilets etc. I argued back saying that old wing should not mean that the basic facilities are not provided, my room was courteously changed and I was offered Room in 2nd basement.room 107 (which had hand spray). Worst part in both the rooms was that bathing area was partitioned with one brick partition (instead of full length glass partition as is prevalent these days). This meant that after one bath, going to relieve yourself becomes messy as floor is all wet.

Tea: Tea was consistently horrible for us. We are tea aficionados and like dhaba kind of tea (strong, milk and sugar) to start our day, unfortunately hotel had tea that had cardamom mixed. No matter what we said, they couldnt make the tea to our liking. When we complained about cardamom we were given tea prepared from tea dips (and for a person who likes strong dhaba tea, this was awful).

Food: Food menu was limited. Food was tasty for having it once or twice. But if you are staying longer, you are going to struggle. There is no Zomato, no restaurant nearby from where you can order food.
Vegetarians like us had bloated stomachs with every meal consisting of Dal Makhani/Dal Fry with Paneer item because there was not much to choose from. Dum Aloo appeared like tomato gravy mixed with a few aloo leftover from aloo ka jhol. Mix veg was not even tried as I suspected they will mix all leftover veggies and give us (Leftover dal makhani was once given to us). Breakfast was pretty fixed menu.if you are a vegetarian you can either have aloo puri or a parantha.nothing else was available. Last day buffet spread offered Dailya which was a break from Alo parantha for us. But buffet also happens when hotel is full. First two days we were asked to order Ala cart from menu.

There is nothing much to do in Chail. Hotels location being on the road, there is not much walking also that one can do. Visit to Chail palace was refreshing (although it burnt a Rs 800 hole in the form of entry ticket for four), I still feel this was the high point of our trip. Visit to Sadhupul was equally exciting as seeing water flow in a small river is an experience for city dwellers.

We got so bored that we decided leave in 3 nights instead of 4 nights that we had booked for.

On top of all the boredom the hotel was being renovated and there was constant thumping on the floor above. There was water on the floors and stairs at times which was something we were concerned with.

All in all, a louzy stay and I would rate 1 star because of food, tea and toilets.

In terms of service, the resort's staff truly stood out. They were attentive, courteous, and genuinely friendly. From the moment of arrival until departure, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home, and their dedication to providing a pleasant and memorable experience was commendable.

However, I must mention that the otherwise serene atmosphere was occasionally disturbed by traffic noise. Depending on the room's location within the resort, you may experience intermittent disruptions from nearby roads or highways. While the resort cannot control external factors, it would be beneficial if they took measures to minimize the impact of traffic sounds, such as soundproofing or strategic room placement.

Moving on to the culinary aspect, the food quality at the resort was average. While the cuisine offered a decent variety, the flavors and presentation fell short of exceptional. However, it is worth noting that the resort staff was receptive to feedback and eager to make adjustments based on guest preferences. This responsiveness and willingness to improve their culinary offerings deserve praise.

Additionally, the resort's convenient location was a major advantage. It provided easy access to popular attractions and amenities, making it convenient for exploration. However, the proximity to urban areas did occasionally result in traffic congestion and associated noise. This aspect might not be ideal for those seeking complete seclusion and a serene environment.

In summary, this resort offered a tranquil getaway with stunning views, warm hospitality, and occasional traffic disturbances. The breathtaking vistas and attentive service contributed to a memorable stay. While the average food quality and traffic noise were drawbacks, the overall experience was still enjoyable. With improvements in minimizing traffic disturbances and enhancing the culinary offerings, this resort has the potential to further elevate the guest experience.

Room, location, service was good except food.
Chicken was not fresh, there was zero salt in paneer pakdoda and green chutney taste was bad.

The service is very poor and the staff is unprofessional. There was no water in the toilet the whole night. It came at 10 am in the morning after multiple complaints. Despite that the hotel did not bother to even apologize.
The hotel is definitely not worth the price they charge.

Great place to stay with a beautiful view. The rooms are big and very good. The room was having furniture which was enough for two. Great value for money.

Hotel staff behaviour was very unprofessional. The rooms weren’t hygienic and they were badly stinking. The food was pathetic, overall really bad experience! Kindly avoid staying here for your own well-being.

Location was on road and easily accessible and drivable.
In hotel parking, though it is limited.
Room is very spacious.
Staff is well behaved and responsive.
Rooms are clean and bathroom is modern with all day hot water availability.
Views are amazing.
Cons
Though Room was clean but there were flies in the room and dinning area. You can't control them even after using the catcher.
Food was not upto the mark. Breakfast spread was very limited only 3-4 items provided and quality vise also it was not appreciable. They need to improve heavily on food.
Note: As they have mix of old rooms and newly renovated rooms, so try to book newly renovated rooms only and avoid booking online.

They took 1500 for booking, but still did'nt booked our rooms and we have to buy another rooms from them moreover, the staff was not responsible enough

Very clean and value for money hotel. Ample parking space inside the property. We got a standard room and it was spacious and had a private balcony. Overall great experience and highly recommended.

The rooms are good and big. However please check with the hotel what kind of room they are offering and don't just blindly follow the booking sites. We were 4 people and wanted a family suite with 2 double beds. What Ibibo suggested us was 2 rooms and later we found that we were given 1 family suite with 2 double beds and one additional room which was not required. Hence please call the hotel and confirm what type of room they are offering otherwise there would be no reimbursement later. One more thing I felt was the rooms are little over priced with the number of services or facilities they are providing.

Apaet from that, the hotel has a good location with valley view and the room service is also good. Parking space is not that great but it can accommodate your vehicle. The only feedback for the hotel is to improve their restaurant service. We felt the service boys were little confused or not able to manage. They should have dedicated staff for each table so that customer doesn't have to wait or call them again n again.

Overall the hotel was clean with decent service.

A very clean and new wing in the hotel. Spartan linen. Rooms are large with good views! Food good. Could be better with a better variety. Staff is helpful. Clean and hygienic.

The hotel offers good view, however the service is not up to the mark. Firstly, the receptionist was arguing with the guests, moreover the breakfast lacked diverse items recommended only for stay in serenity.

Well, the morning buffet was not up to the mark. All the promised items were not there and when asked they refused to give it. I would not recommend anyone for a stay. Room view was good but food was not good

Stayed at the place for 3 nights and the stay was very comfortable for both kids and grown ups.

The views from the balconies is to die for and gives a panoramic view of the valley and beautiful sunsets.

The rooms are also designed well and offer a contemporary and utilitarian feel.

The location is also on a pivotal road so it's well connected to other attractions.

Lastly the staff is extremely courteous and are available at one's beck and call.

We stayed at the newly opened wing of hotel chail residency, the rooms are definitely top notch with a comfortable bed and premium finish washroom. Contact them directly for great deals. Valley view rooms are recommended. Food is out of the world, be it indian or chinese.

Best hotel in and around Chail whereas this hotel is located almost 3 km from Chail Bazaar which is actually the main city center of Chail. But cabs are available from this hotel as the Manager of this hotel is very frank and kind and he provides the best sightseeing package for yourself. I booked the sightseeing package for 3 days in Rs. 6700 which includes local sightseeing, Narkanda Ski point visit and return to Kalka Railway Station.

Super deluxe rooms are spacious with big balconies. Hotel is undergoing maintenance so I assume small issues will be fixed soon. Smooth check in - check out. Polite staff and decent service.
Food definitely needs upgrade. Bland and oily however chef did make food as per our preference post feedback.

This property is dope. The balcony view is so beautiful that you would spend your whole evening sitting there seeing bright sun turning into red and then gradually dipping deep behind the moutains, leaving the silhouette hilltops cladded in red sky. Staff is very welcoming. Service is also very good. Rooms are good in quality and offer contemporary amenities and design.

Staff is too humble and helpful.

Hotel property is just average, not worth of money but food taste, quality and quantity is good. Service is just average. Heater is not included in the room fare they charge you 200 INR per night.

Good hotel with nice views. We opted for the family suite which is really well built and maintained. The views are better from he upper floors as a building in front obstructs a part of the view in the lower ones. The food was really good and the service is on point. The hotel is about 5kms away from the city centre. But in a very peaceful and apt location.

Rooms are good & clean. Service very good. Food good too. Check if plumbing is leaking in washroom and bed sheets are clean before you check in.

Good: Place is good. Owner&staff are extra nice. Food is good too. Rooms are clean and good in size. Towels clean. Very good quality toiletries too. Electricity, water - all good. Our suite had a balcony too.
Not so good: unfortunately, my pillow covers&bed sheets were not as clean. However on request i was given a fresh bed sheet. Plumbing was leaking. Mattress were pretty too spongy that two of us couldn't sleep well. I'm sure the manager will take care of these issues.

The hotel is merely 2.6 kms from main chail bazaar. The hotel was worth the rent demanded. 3.5 out of 5. I wish the room was carpeted as the weather there is predominantly cold the year around. The bathroom was neat and clean but light was insufficient and there was practically no exhaust / ventilation

The hotel is few mins ahead of chail market. The view is awesome from the rooms. There was some water problem in the morning, but they managed it with water buckets. Food is was tasty with reasonable price. Parking space was available. Furnitures were old. Value for money hotel.

The service is good and the staff is very polite. Food is alao good. In rooms you can find some smell due to dampness but overall the rooms are good.
