Hotel Deyzor

We just passed by for dinner here and we’re very lucky to have found this place! Super cozy, nicely decorated with lots of good books, board games and travel stories. The food was also really good and I was surprised how many options they had. And the dogs of course are also amazing. Would for sure recommend!

What an amazing time I’m having in India and this place is the cherry on the cake.

All's well that ends well- The stay at Deyzor was one of the highlights of my solo trip. The way this place is made up is mindblowing, it's filled with travel history and souvenirs collected across the globe. The hospitality provided by Karan and his staff was amazing, be it food or chai.it's beyond par in variety and taste. I would definitely love to visit, as Kaza without Deozer is incomplete!

Most warmth and home like hotel and restaurant in Spiti, Kaza. Very cozy and niceest art pieces personally made and decorated by Karan and it is really full of hard works with his full heart into it. I am so glad to know Karan through my Warmshower host in Amritsar.
Highly recommended anyone who come to Spiti, Kaza to visit and stay here, you will definitely feel like home. Moreover with the nicest and varieties of foods in the restaurant; and most importantly, very nice boss and staffs

Had the most wonderful stay at Deyzor. Did not want to leave! Right from the decor to the facilities to the food, the host Karan, everything is beyond fantastic! Loved every bit and I highly recommend this place.

From the time you enter the place it's only good vibes, very welcoming staff, lovely to see the place so animal friendly and done up with such good taste. The owners are lovely people and very welcoming and helpful. The food is simply awesome if I could would order everything on the menu. Don't miss out on their desserts.

They serve otherworldly flavors that upu will surely take back with you. They serve love here and serve food with love. The place is filled with stories of travellers and interesting bits collected from al over the world. You are sure to leave this place with the smile. Staff is charming and superfriendly.

Went to their restaurant. That the owner is passionate about his place, is evident from the setup of the restaurant. Each nook n corner has a story to tell; the walls are filled with anecdotes, experiences writings etc.food was tasty and we relished it.
Staff is warm n hospitable. The owner is a wonderful host.

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a beautifully decked hotel in a place as remote as Kaza. Apart from the intricately adorned interiors, this place offers top-notch service and rooms with beautiful views. There's a cafe, a library, and a store attached as well. I will never forget the taste of the choco mud pie I had at Deyzor. Three cheers to Karan for maintaining such a stunning property in Kaza. Last but not the least: Have been missing Azizam, the friendly St. Bernard who kept us entertained with his antics, and the rest of the rescue dogs there! This place is totally worth your money!

Hotel Deyzor is the crossroad of Spiti valley, the moment you walk into the restaurant you are welcomed with refreshments you were not expecting, music you were waiting to hear without having to even ask for, and the kind spirit of Spiti. See through, and share your love with everybody you see there, it’s an amazing place, don’t miss the chance to make friends, and hang around the corner. It was a mixed experience to stay with my parents there, but really worth the travel.

Let me just start of by saying that the pictures don't do justice to the place. We stayed for one day in Kaza, but this place really made us want to extend our stay! The staff is amazing. The food is mind blowing. The ambience and vibe of the place is just perfect. A big big thumbs up, would go back to Kaza just to stay here again.

Stayed 3 nights and was just taken over by the charm of this place. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Kaza. Cozy, homely, eclectic almost Bohemian and wonderful warmth and hospitality. Karan the owner is awesome and interactions with him can leave you in awe and inspired at the same time.the team there is very friendly and watch out for the Rakesh charm. He is the most entertaining server I've ever met. The food is amazing, well presented and tasty, with a menu that might put some exclusive restaurants in cities to shame. MUST STAY AT DEYZOR for anyone visiting Kaza. I'm certainly coming back.

Overall, I had a great experience with the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great.food is just wonderful.

Few places around that can Dmatch Deyzor in the warmth it provides. Food is exceptional, team is fantastic and it's a travel museum like I have seen no where else.

I've been to so many places in mountains, but never had such delicious food ever.

Absolutely amazing place with amazing decor depicting the culture of Spiti and artifacts. Amazing service and well a St bernard to greet you as well. Food is amazing as well. Would recommend visiting here if in Kaza

Yes. It was an absolutely amazing stay. The host was really fantastic and we received a very warm welcome. The food is delicious with the rooms designed in a beautiful way. It is a must recommended place to stay in Kaza. I would love to visit again.

Loved everything about the hotel. The rooms, food, ambience, their collection of books, everything was great. Azizam, the saint Bernard, is very friendly and loves being petted.

It’s very nice cafe, hotel with clean & cozy rooms. We liked accommodation and food. People are very nice there. Our kids were super happy with dog there (Azizam). There is lots of books and nice quotes, you can read and spend good time there. The cafe owner also can help you for get more adventurous trip plan there. Thanks!

Lovely place! Should be on your bucket list as much as Spiti! Run from the heart! Karan is a fantastic host! Do book in advance to avoid disappointment!

LOCATION: At outskirts, though very well accessible. City Center is about 30 min walkable. We preferred it that way and enjoyed.
AMBIANCE: The feel of this space and experience is the USP of this place. Rooms and common areas are filled with anecdotes, images and guest inputs. We enjoyed the stay most with them.
FOOD: The young owners ensure this aspect is very well taken care of. Food is served through choicest variety. This is something every guest will remember it for a long time and for few it will reason to come again.
ROOMS: spacious clean, well ventilated and well lit.signature Rooms ambiance.
COULD BE BETTER: Please do something for too low washroom door height. Present staircase risers are not scientific, irregular and randomly varied height. Those catering to guests may please wash their hands after playing with owner pets and before serving.

The worst taste of food, also the cost is more than food quality & behavior of owner also pathetic.

Hotel deyzor is an amazing place if you are looking for a cozy place for your holiday with superb food and very friendly people and not to forget Azizam (the saint bernard) will make you go awe with his every move. If you are a book lover then this place is for you, you can find few very nice books in Mr. Karan's personal library (please do not take books from there, they are not for selling). Have a nice holiday ︎

Lovely food, salad, pizza and homemade mango ice cream too was awesome. One of the must visit places if you are in Kaza.

This is the best place you can stay in Kaza! We stayed in the month of August, for 3 days, and I must say, Deyzor has such a cozy, comfortable vibe that makes you want to extend your stay for sure! Karan is an amazing host, and the food is I guess what me and my husband have always enjoyed here! Do try out there breakfast menu if you are at Kaza. And what I personally admire is the love and attention given to the smallest of things placed, maintained and kept at Deyzor. Any traveller would love and get lost in the detailing here because Karan has done up the place with plenty of things a traveller can relate to. I will not describe here, go and check it out yourself:) cheers!

When you see this hotel from outside you can get in trouble and think this is normal but when you entered everything changes every wall of this hotel have unique paintings poetry books can't describe more you want to visit this hotel once in a lifetime. ️

A must visit just for the food and ambiance. Haven't yet stayed here, but would jump at any opportunity to do so after seeing how well the rooms are laid out. The entire property is a nicely curated art house in my opinion. It's always a pleasure meeting the lovely couple that run the place.

WARNING! Don't come here with your loved ones highly insecure Hotel of Kaza, One of the worst experience in my 10 years of travelling, First of all this restaurant or hotel whatever they say dere building to be, is only for those who get dere rooms, they give food only to those who stays dere. Others are less important den dere Saint bernard dog, who ll b always looking in ur plates to have bite, same hands will be used to pat dere dog and serve u foods, dere is karan who thinks kaza belongs to him but but its not reality, dont be shocked if you can hear words like GO OUT, I WILL CALL THE POLICE blah! Blah! There few other good options like blue mountain, winter white go for that hotels. There are lots of things i wanna share in this review but leav it. Thanks. Dont waste your time and hard earned money on such poor service and highly insecure building.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exteriors of the Hotel Deyzor. The moment you step inside it's stickered front door you realise what has been missing in all the star & boutique hotels worldwide. Love. Karan with his wife have created this Lovotel (just coined) about 9 years ago. Each and every article & surface in the hotel have been choosen with so much thought and care, that one forgets about the check-in. One example for this that the rooms don't have nos but names like Manirang & Reo Purgil. Along with the carefully selected decor they also offer international cuisines and great service. The only place to stay in Kaza.

How do you manage, Karanbir and Kim?

Excellent food and stay - quality and service - better than even some known names in Indian metros.

In that cold desert. I'll recommend, if I have a hospitality client, to stay at your place to learn a few things.

A beautiful experience. This cafe is a must visit if you are in Kaaza and more so if you are a dog lover. Azzizam and Hachi will win you over.

Whatever you write it is going to be less for deyzor, karan, kim and azimum. Purest of the the pure rooms with amazing write ups and hangings, felt like out of the world. Great food. Enjoyed our 2days there, close to kaza market and the highest petrol pump.
