Stayed there for one night, nice property, easy access, big rooms, delicious food, humble staff

We stayed at this property for a day only but enjoyed the stay. First of all staff was very hospitable be it porters, room service or Restaurant staff. We stayed in snowsuite which has unhindered valley view. Though we visited in March but I can imagine who beautiful the view would have been during the snow fall. Food was simple fare but delicious and hygienic. It’s also a good halt on the way to kylong or spiti valley for that matter. Special thanks to Manager Mr Negi and Mr Tarachaand Who tried their best to pamper us within their resources

Place itself is amazing but interior of rooms, bedding, mattresses were all a bit obsolete, seems like place needs an upgrade

Didn't book a room for stay, just visited to enjoy the prime location it is built in. Bought a cup of coffee and spent the evening watching rhe sun go down. Really cool place.

One of the best properties to stay in Narkanda. Nature Views and location-wise HPTDC properties are best to stay. The rooms, Food, and staff are good. Make sure to book the room (s) well in advance to avoid room availability issues.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 other families and the stay was comfortable and peaceful. Excellent place to spend a night or two.

Delicious food by the chef, All staff members are helpful, especially Mr. Gurudev who will ensure that you have excellent food and a stay experience.

The person at the front desk have some attitude problem it seems (typical govt clerk). The overall conditions and situation of the property does not justify the price. There are other good options in the region i would suggest to avoid this govt hotel.

The best property to stay in Narkanda, hands down. HPTDC properties have the best views and location. So, that is a huge plus in itself. Also, the rooms are good and so is the food and the staff. Whenever I visit Narkanda, mostly, I stay here. You can definitely go check them out.

However, make sure you book the room (s) online as room availability can be an issue.

HPTDC need to spruce up the hotel, it looks shabby, staff seems tired and uninterested, even after repeating several, they could not show me the rooms before I book it, hotel was hardly occupied. Breakfast was of poor quality. Disappointed with the place and the staff.

Spacious rooms, delicious food and cordial staff. One can order local HP delicacies like bhatu ki kheer etc.

Narkanda is a hidden gem. Great place to come for skiing and also for absolute tranquility. Hotel Hatu is a great place to stay here. Awesome service and great hospitality. Loved the food. Good place for you to come and stay for a peaceful, meditative and long walk holidays.

The view is amazing, experienced snowfall in Dec last week 2020, good service, Cozy rooms, warm blankets, enough space for parking

Located at peak top of Narkanda, this is a gud hotel with plenty of space. Ull find garden, lobby, dining area and balconies apart from cosy rooms. Rooms r also big enough. Staff is polite and cooperative. Food is also good. Overall worth it.

Typical government accommodation room. The bedsheets are not that good. Staff are very polite and hospitable. If you want a good view don't take the cheapest room. Property is located at a very convenient place.

HPTDC Property, Very beautiful location, courteous staff, but not maintained. Prices are higher as compared to room quality. Torn menus in premium rooms, un kept washrooms, dirty walls. New Block looks like a typical marriage dharamshala. And above all HPTDC doesn't respond to tweets. 3 Stars are for location, staff and yes awesome food quality.

Hatu is a hptdc hotel in Narkanda. It has good rooms with clean ambience. It also has good parking space but in case there are functions organized over weekend then it becomes little difficult but still it can be managed. Staff is courteous and good. It has lawn where you can sit and njoy. Food is good and room service is also good. There is a small market place at 5 mins walking distance. You can access Hatu temple and Hatu peak from here. Further you can reach Sarahan on NH22.

Hopeless Staff poor service. Big cheaters they know how to loot a tourist.kindy reconfirm your room tariff if you are a walk-in customer.else at the time of check out.they invoice you with a different (higher side) tariff.
We have booked 3 Rooms at the time of check in their offered tariff was 2390 +taxes for 2 rooms an 2800+taxes for one room with breakfast.but at the time of check out they invoiced us 3862 X 2 = 7724.3300 x 1 + taxes 18% 1984.
An they forcefull ask us to pay the amount.

The place is nearly 50-100 metres from the market of Narkanda. But the view from this place is breathtaking.
A wide view of the apple orchards all around, sweet fresh atmosphere and a pleasure weather. If you are looking for a cool place to get away from the screeching sun of Delhi, it is a great place to be at.
The food here is decent, nice hospitality, clean rooms!

Again one of the best located property of Himachal Tourism as view is one of the best in Narkanda from Hotel. Also located at walkable distance from Main Market which is just 500m down from the Hotel. But coming to rooms, they are bit expensive. The room that we got had a very small wash basin attached in the washroom which was quite inconvenient. Overall a pleasant stay for a night.

Beautiful property and location. There is a lawn outside where you can sit and sip cup of tea / coffee.

Never book a room in this hotel through CLEARTRIP. We had booked a room through Cleartrip four months in advance with full payment made in advance, still Cleartrip did not intimate the hotel about our booking. Thankfully The managers and the staff there was very considerate and provided alternate solution, despite the fact that hotel was fully occupied.

Location is excellent. Rooms are ok. But needs maintenance. Staffs are helpful. Lots of himalayan birds are visible around this place.

We booked our room from their Delhi office in Himachal Bhavan. They charged Rs 3300/- with breakfast plus GST. Paid room charges in Delhi office and balance GST at hotel. Room was good. Helpful staff. The Hattu temple is located around 7 KM from the Hotel. It is a steep climb. Local Taxi is available for Rs 800/-. You can walk also, it may take around 4 Hours

Himachal is know for its hospitality and the best hotels in himachal are from HPTDC. Hatu has just been renovated and has the best location as well. The room has an awesome view so loved it will be revisiting soon.

It's an ageing property, the food is poor but the views are awesome. A bit secluded from main Narkanda, you get full privacy and great Himalayan views

Stayed in their suite. Nice view of the mountains from the room window. Lush green garden to stroll. Minimal facilities. Could add a kettle to the room. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. 1 km from Hatu mountain peak. Peaceful small town and serene beauty of mountains

We made a reservation for 9 of feb 2019. We could not reach the hotel as whole path was blocked due to heavy snow fall. We tried to contact hotel stuff in morning around 10 am from shimla but no one picked the call. After 2 hrs they picked the call and said wait in Shimla road will open and they will inform us accordingly. We waited there like 1 more hr but no update from their side. Then we contacted traffic police guy in shimla he said road will not open today or next 2-3 days at all. Then we book another hotel in shimla for stay. Hotel stuff did not contacted once or try to make any kind of arrangement. Then we asked Goibibo (as we booked from there) for refund but they said hotel totally denied it. Very bad service, we waited in such a cold weather like hours because of incomplete and vauoge information provided by hotel. And now they not ready to make any refund saying that we did not inform them earlier. Ve
