Great location but being Govt managed lot of facilities missing. With few more facilities it would have been 5 star place. Food is good.

Food is ordinary. Hotel requires upkeep. Prices are horribly expensive. They charge for nothing but for their location.which stands on the Cart road.

Beautiful hotel to stay with family. Great space for parking. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beautiful view from the window. Restaurant has great variety of food. Soups were delicious.

Hotel is very near to mall lift. Very polite and helpful stuff. All rooms has room heater. Restaurent is excellent. Food was very tasty, restaurant stuff was also very cordial.

Very good hotel.especially the food.it was soo gud.the locarion is little down from ridge.but you can walk aout 200 meters ad taken lift to reach ridge.rooms are small but ok.service is good.

The best drive-in dinner place in the heart of Shimla. Food preparation is really good though infrastructure seems dated now.

Fantastic place, I think more than its location and view, it's a place where you just get the elite treatment.
Very helpful staff, it's all from HP Tourism and food is nice.
The only thing to improve would be to improve the complimentary buffet breakfast, which ideally should have a seperate menu and items to pick for, but still they accomodate you too much.

It has a bar inside as well, you can even park your car.

Love to stay. Easily approachable. Near lift. You can enjoy shopping and evening walk in mall road. Food is really awesome here. Staff very cooperative.

Place is pretty quiet with a nice ambience, we've visited here 2-3 times and it was my first in Corona. All staff followed precautions. And food was marvellous especially the sizzler on bed of rice ️

HPTDC Hotel. Ask for EP plan. They will delete Rs 300/- which they charge for breakfast per person. 40% discount on Room rate is normal. Very nice hotel. Very nice location

Nice location. Large parking if maintained properly would be a great asset. Very close to Mall road and the various bazars.

I stayed at Himachal Holiday Home during my family trip to Himachal Pradesh, it was a great experience overall.

The location of the hotel is perfect! Its calm, quite and peaceful, they also have a parking which is a huge plus, it is 10 minutes walking from main points of Kausauli including church, mall road and heritage lane. You can start your hike to sunset point from the hotel itself, its only 1 hour hike away.

The rooms were clean, service was fast, food was good, and staff was friendly. The best thing about the hotel is its huge panoramic 360 degree view of mountains.

Rooms and location are good. But no room service. Canteen closing time 10pm. No drinking water available after 10pm

Got my riding gloves from here. Nice place neat and clean. One can find nearly all riding gears. Good quality and branded products you can rely on.

Wonderful hotel in Shimla with a great view of the hills. Breakfast is complimentary.food is quite expensive but the taste of every dish is great! Hope to visit again.

Hotel Holiday Home has a nice and spacious restaurent, where the food is about middling fair. Not extra ordinary but still o.k.

Quality is going down. Last week buffet breakfast was discontinued. Now the tea coffee maker from room is withdrawn.

Pros - Best budget hotel, 5 minutes walking to Lift, Best kitchen and dining hall in Shimla, rooms vary from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000, Parking for 30 cars

Cons - For Standard rooms: No mobile charging points near to bed, Trash can only in toilet

I do not recommend this place. The tariff is approx 3k to 4k per room and the rooms are really old fashioned. Don't even get me started on the beds. The mattresses feel like 5000yrs old- extremely uncomfortable. This kind of room can be easily booked u der 700rs. No one should be paying this much for such rooms. Don't waste your hard earned money on this property.

I loved it but I faced parking problem there. No doubt it is spacious but once occupied your car will be left with very little space to take a turn. Otherwise it is amazing. There catering, conference halls, and location, all are very good.

Good hotel, clean rooms, parking space is available.and it's near to mall road. Restaurant is good and food is good too. You can try traditional food here.

HHH is just at right place, near to Mall lift and having beautiful views from the room. The rooms are OK, not so lavish but comfortable, & restaurant has good food.

Too Costly. Not a value for Money. Rooms were stinking when we entered. The rooms in 600 series not good. Front office staff not cooperative.didn't change the rooms even on repeated requests.

Very nice place to stay. I used deluxe cosy room which was very nice. 5 star hotel facilities are available in this hotel in decent price frame.

I always prefer to stay here whenever I come to Shimla. It's the best out there! The food is amazing with a friendly staff. Rooms are in great condition since renovation happens quite often. There is quite a scenic view of the city from the hotel rooms. The hotel is quite near to the lift facility for the Mall road. It's the best value for money option!

Pleasant stay in Shimla, courteous and friendly staff, welcoming you. They allowed us early check-in, authentic himachal cuisine is must try, breakfast was yum as well.

I suggest you to do booking in advance using hptdc website, also hptdc operates Volvo and day tour buses.

Visually it's a tatty hotel but asking location and food! I just loved the food, it's really good! Also value for money. The staff is also nice and humble, which makes the stay worth!

Very well located, nice views of Shimla. Christ Church at The Mall was visible through the window from the bed. However, tarrifs are on the expensive side.
