Hotel Kasauli Regency

What an amazing place to stay, only one hour drive from the plains, this is an excellent vacation destination or a weekend getaway for me, the best quality rooms and staff.hosted by some excellent people, at Kasauli Regency's Rooftop is a bar called Hangout, and I would not miss the Open Mic Sundays there!
The rooms of the regency are pretty and decent, offers a variety of rooms of different travel groups, plus they also have a hostel when travelling Solo, with Free Parking services, and Excellent views of the hills from every window, i highly recommend this place.
Although they don't allow stags, so just remember that when planning.
The restaurant food is delicious with so many options to choose from the local cuisine as well, must try Sepu Wadi and Rehru! The food prices are very decent as per the standards of Kasauli Hills.

P. S. They also host Techno Thursdays, Retro Fridays and some local artists come and jam which were some very exciting memories from the trip to Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. And if you are lucky, you might get a chance to go for a Nature Walk with one of your hosts, which is another highlight of the stay, to explore the local life of Kasauli's villages.

It was good there while didn't spend much time in, we were traveling just slept there at night

Pathetic place to stay, extremely unhygienic. The linens were unwashed, had very visible stains, the staircase and common areas were shabby and smelled full of smoke.
There were greasy marks on the table, chairs, TV never worked. Water was not provided. Would never recommend to anyone.

The hotel is located at an ideal spot and easily reachable to main attractions. The rooms we got had a nice view which made our stay very delightful. I also appreciate the staff response on all our requirements whether it was room service, housekeeping, or request for amenities. We didn’t feel a moment of discomfort and had a happy stay. Kasauli is a good place and Hotel Regency is a good choice of accommodation for family.

Stayed here for 3 nights welcomed by some very warm hearted staff. Rooms are beautiful and the food at hangout is excellent. We got all the help we needed at any point in time, be it with an extension cord, room service or luggage 4am in the morning. We were lucky to get Hitesh for our sight seeing and cab service. Looking forward to staying here again

Grateful for the hospitality of the staff who tended to our needs, however small. We even got a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room for the last day! Hangout is a beautiful place to chill with breathtaking views, lovely food and desserts.
Also they helped us with a contact for cab guy Hitesh who was excellent as well.

Location is good, food is good. But no space for in-house guests for having meals if you are with family. Good for couples

It's one of the best places to visit when in kasauli and lobby is really well maintained. Must visit atleast once.

Overall the hotel is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. They have a table tennis table and pool table in the reception area. Downside is lack of lift and non provision of extra bed - they provide only mattress which many may not like. Famous Hangout bar is in the building. Food is fine and by default is on the spicier side. So, you may want to be careful while ordering and may want to have it customized. Parking is available at the backside.

It’s the best place to stay in if you’re planning to visit Kasauli! The hospitality is beautiful and the hygienic maintenance is always taken care of! Looking forward to visit soon!

Room is Good, price is also Good as compared to other kausali hotel
Food is Good but costly and breakfast is more costly 1 aloo Paratha 100 rs
Location is ok you can get more hotel near to sunset point and sunrise point but that hotel will costly.
In kausali no trasport facilities other than bus so choose Hotel which is Good location.

Awesome rooms at reasonable prices. Best you could get in the area. The views are good. And the food is just delicious. Prices are also very reasonable. Service is good.

It's a beautifully and centrally located hangouts place, one could see the complete mountain range sitting in their outer space, over the ambience is very cozy, food & drinks are also good, overall good service and happy times at Kasauli Regency Hangouts

This is a property recommended for people who love to enjoy an experience of a Comfortable stay with Hospitable staff and the best of Food & Beverage served in the most quintessential Roof Top ambience with a mesmerizing Live Music (Open Mic on Sunday) session.
This is not meant for unruly people who are high on Social Power and believe that money can buy everything in life.
I read reviews about staff not being respectful and cooperative but in my stay of 7 days here, they were all Perfect in their respective Jobs. You get respect only when you deserve it and understand "Dignity of Labour".

Though the property is small n having only 10 rooms, entire staff is very courteous n helpful, stayed there for 5 days n enjoyed good food, play room etc backed by excellent services.

Staycation in Kasauli Regency was really good. Special thanks to Mr Rajesh (owner) and Rohini for ensuring the comfortable stay with all modern amenities. Thanks to Chef Arjun and Danish for providing customized meals. Moreover their rooftop restaurant/lounge with its nature view and techno/retro music makes the stay more enjoyable. Would definitely make more staycations whenever possible in the future. Best wishes to the entire team for their quality services.

Only good in this hotel is Hangout restaurant and bar.it's very good to sit and enjoy views of Himalayas.food quality is good too

Good but usually you need to book in advance, as they run out of rooms frequently, especially in summers.

The staff is extremely courteous. I could not make it to the hotel and had to cancel the booking due to some medical emergency. They were extremely cordial, helpful and considerable of my situation. Definitely looking forward to stay at this place on my next visit.

Chose this hotel just because of the rooftop lounge but had a very disappointing experience there because of the very non-cooperative and unprofessional staff up there.
Rooms and washrooms are a little small in size.

Only come to the place if you like techno music else you’ll be continuously nagged and abused that you are forced to leave. Absolutely NOT a place for family. This was our 5th time here. They first time when. Was pregnant with my first kid, today they are 6 and 8 year olds. We used to love it which is why we kept coming back but this time…. They cared a damn about customer service. They have rooftop restaurant which has live performances on Sundays. We always used to look forward to it but again this time…it was a dungeon.where family and kids cannot feel safe. They say stags not allowed but it’s only a place for stags!

Also manager nd reception staff have no sense of talking, they are not ready to listen to customer!
Also in emergency too they dont have master key available wow!
The hotel is over pricy!
They dont have lift even after 4-5 floors are there in hotel.
The staff is rude and not adjustable!

It is one of the best hotel and bar in kasauli (keemughat). It is a best place to hangout with friends and family also. Rooftop is main attraction and food is tasty

Place is good. Roof is not so big. Safe place. Cooperative staff. But expensive according to location. But neat and nice rooms.

Quite a better place to hangout with friends/family for the weekend. Rooms are very much comfy and spacious.

There are better places to stay in at Kasauli. The rooms are too expensive and not worth it. The view is not that great, apart for the hangout rooftop. The food is really good. Would recommend only to go there for a meal and not a stay.

Hotel is small but neat and clean. Limited and small rooms but comfortable stay. Clean toilets. Cooperative staff.

Kasauli Regency known for hosting most happening techno party at Kasauli.
Thursday is techno, Saturday is DJ and Sunday is open mike.
Open air rooftop hangout place.

Location and view is awesome, drinks are good (cocktail & mocktail)

North Indian food is average snacks are good.

You don't have to say to your customers that "they are creating issue/ ruckus" as we did not do anything like that
We made requests in a polite manner but your receptionists were extra rude, which clearly turns down any guests.
Although the rooms were of great quality, but the behavior of your staff is not inviting which will make me not recommend to others.
For point - 1 We did not create ruckus on the day of arrival, we accepted and paid the amount. We responded to the team next day when they were rude to us and said we are creating issue about every single thing.

2. We understood your point that angithi can cause some sort of destruction in the room, but then don't promise something while accepting bookings, this is what we have feedback about. We did not complain that angithi was not provided, we just mentioned don't promise something which is not feasible

3. The taxi driver also said that there was no request made for a cab of 5 people, which we clearly aksed for. If there was no cab available then you could have communicated to us, again in a polite manner.

Kasauli Regency is one of most sought after places in the region.
The place has 9 rooms, 3 Deluxe, 4 Super Deluxe and 2 Family Suites.
Their restuarant cum bar which goes by the name of 'Hangout Rooftop Bar' is a must visit if you in and around this area.
Hangout hosts open mic on every Sunday and techno parties on every Thursday.

3. They provide early check-in without hassle (subject to availability)
4. Heater option for room and hot water in washroom
5. Shelves are sufficient to keep luggage.
6. Mini fridge in room

Cons:

1. Costly
2. No slipper provided for washroom
3. Not following Covid-19 protocol properly
4. View from room isn't great
5. Room service is little bit slow.
