Its a budget hotel but I will not advice this hotel for family. Rooms are ok. And the food is pathetic.

Best i can say.in terms of service, staff behaviour, cleanliness, and location.

Genuine hotel, food quality is good at reasonable price, staff behavior is good, nice location, room quality is good, complementary breakfast is available, free wifi, every room has smart lock system with key-card, I like that one. I recommend Hotel Maharaja.

Excellent Infra, polite inhouse team and finger licking food, just WOW services, recommended for everyone

Hotel maharaja staff is very cooperative and nice we stay ३ days but we feel like home room view very beautiful food very tasty we will come again and also prafer this hotel to my friends and relative hotel is very near to mall road thanks for every things hotel maharaja

I really loved their service. The way the staff handles the queries is really brilliant and the chef cook's do delicious food. The breakfast I had today was really good and fulfilling. Loved it alot

I really enjoyed my stay here at the premises The hotel staff is really polite and the taste of the food is delicious. I had my breakfast and it was really delicious. Loved it very much. Highly recommended

Worst hotel ever seen in my life.their staff is super greedy.for everything they will just say you will have to pay for this.even for the basic services.shame on these guys. Treebo should look into this and cancel their tie up with them. We were mever told thst their hotel is atleast 500 mts away from the main road that too with steep incline and there is no means of transport or parking facility. I had an elderly lady with us and we had to make her walk all the way.she is now suffering from breathing issues.these guys are big thugs.pls dont fall into their trap and I request you to please choose any other hotel but never choose Maharaja Hotel. Their staff is rude and not at all cooperative. For them you are just an ATM machine from whom they are ready to loot you. They dont provide basic facilities at all

Excellent location and awesome hotel with a very polite staff and nice rooms very good hotel to spend your holidays and special thanks to "Mr. Bharat upadhyay" and "brothers tour and travel" for providing the best taxi service.

Not a good option.
That's an one liner I can say about this hotel as it has more cons than pros.
Cons:
1. Location - one of the biggest disadvantage of this hotel. Cars cannot reach to this hotel, it's even far from Mall road so not even a we can say walking distance from Mall road, and the main way to their hotel is that you have to walk all the way up on the hill and with your heavy luggage.
2. View - If you want a hotel with good view, then unfortunately this is not the right option. This hotel is surrounded by buildings so hardly 2 rooms have mountain view.
3. If you are going in winters, so heater is a mandatory thing and they will charge extra for that, 500rs per day which you need to keep in mind before keeping the hotel budget.
4. Restaurant - As there are no restaurants nearby, so only option left is to have food in hotel restaurants which is not at all tasty.

Pros - After the cons of this hotel, let's have some pros of this hotel.
1. Hot water Issue - I have encountered water issues at some other hill stations, but I haven't faced hot water issues in this hotel.
2. Reaching to the hotel with your luggage is a big big issue, but one good thing is that hotel folks can arrange a porter for your luggage if you call them, but ofcourse we have to pay them extra.
3. Room size was okay, like a standard size.

So, I personally faced those cons and have a more impact than pros. That was my genuine review.:)

Curteous staff, clean rooms, nearest to the the mall, one of the best value for money hotel in shimla.

It was really bad experience. Trebo maharaja is a cheater. They said tbey have parking.but there was no parking.after arrival they said they charge extra for kid.it was waste of money and time.if there is any negative marking. I would prefer to give it in negative

TO GET TAXI YOU NEED TO WALK A LOT EVERYTIME. ALSO STAFF IS NOT COOPERATIVE. EVEN AFTER BOOKING ONLINE THEY CHARGED EXTRA MONEY.

Stay only if you are a trekking lover. The place has no parking, your have to shed around 400 for overbite parking and the climb about 250 odd steps to reach this hotel. The rooms are average
I rented this place for 5000 and in my tra Eller opinion this is not worth more 2000. All in all just average.

Nice place to spend time the only downside is it is hard to reach and if you are carrying heavy luggage it will be even harder

Breakfast lunch dinner is not satisfied to guests and service of hotel is very worst. The hotel is not comfortable for living and any other things.

The worst people. They have initially told rooms are not available after I reached hotel in spite of advance booking. After 1 hr argument they gave a room. So congested rooms. Not accepting digital payments. They are Trying to earn block money

Cons, No wifi, you can not take taxi there because it's in the sealed road. You have to carry your luggage through lot of steps. Hotel people didn't even bothered to give proper directions.
Pros, Service is wonderful, very near to the mall road, food is good.

This hotel is no longer in tie up with OYO. Had to pay more in order to get a stay there. The quality has fallen a bit since I have visited this place twice. Mall road is at a distance of 10 minutes. There are lot of monkeys around. If you leave the windows open the monkeys will come in. Can't roam around alone at dark as the monkeys also steal things from your hand, especially food. The food service is good and hygiene. The staffs are polite. Rate is little on the higher side. I was charged 4k per night.

Unprofessional and mean Staff. I have confirmed booking on 18 Apr 2019, the unprofessional hotel staff denied to take booking and its was raining and i was travelling with my 2.5 year old son, they even dont bother as my little baby was shivering with cold and even the mean hotel staff dont allow us to enter. Very mean people of Shimla they dont have even courtesy for you. They need only money from your pocket. First time visit to Shimla and don't even i would recomend any one to visit Shimla ever for their entire life.

Horrible hotel staff. The rooms are not at all sound proof, even a small whisper will disturb your sleep. Photos & amenities mentioned are false. The hotel is neat but lacks major construction quality. Faults like no provision of anti-skid tiles in bathroom, no hangers or towel rack, no electric kettle. Strange part is charges for heater & ice cubes.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is located near Kalibari template and 5-10 mins walking distance from mall road.

It does not have private parking space, so one has to walk around 500m to reach here.

Though I had some problem initially with getting preferred room (possibly due to travel agent's Miss communication) but they stay was very comfortable. Service was very good, they were very responsive to all the requests.

Very few options for breakfast but food was nice & tasty.

1 best thing hotel room very clean for couple best hotel food was good breakfast was good staff is so good service is like 4 star hotel.only 1 problem for hotel is not good for senior or handicap people pls do something on it other wise best hotel near mall maintain this cleanses well done

Totally not worth the price. The view was awful and it was so cold in the room. Also the water wasn't hot.

Neat, clean and hygienic stay. I got classic room for Rs. 1300 on the 2nd floor, which was slightly expensive considering that it didn't include meals. They didn't even provide electric kettle.

Overall Hotel is good. Walkable distance from Mall Road Shimla. Only thing to change is their breakfast menu.everyday same they serve.

Hi! I stayed 2 days in this hotel which is in mall road side near Kali badi temple. Hotel is very nice and service is also v.good. I will recommend this hotel to anyone. And the best part is its price. Room are clean and tidy, bathroom is amazing in such low price. From my side its awesome hotel to stay.

Hotel was good, food was also good, but there is a problem of warm water in washroom we have to call them every time, there was no water heater in washroom.

Such an amazing place i ever know.services are too good.rooms are also very comfortable.happy to be there.

4th floor rooms are good, nd the service is providing good when we are asking them to do. In shimla they should have provide heaters free of cost, instead charging extra money.

The hotel is very very good. Linens are impeccably clean. Bathroom is chic and the king size bed is too big. Staff is courteous. However they do not provide an electric kettle is a pity.

Very nice hotel good rooms, good food, nice staff. Only one thing that needs to be done is that vehicle is not allowed up to the hotel as it is located in restricted area so you have to walk down for some 5 mins, if that's corrected then 5/5 for this hotel. Overall good experience.

A good one stay. Service is good but it can be better, extra bed is not provided, food is just ok ok, the location is difficult to find no vehicle is available to reach the destination.
