Ist things ist, this is a good hotel which also acts as a good picnic spot by offering various fun activities like swimming pool, gardens, joy rides and boating. Apart from it they have a setup for shooting pre wedding as well. But one should be extremely careful around this area especially while going for boating as the approach to Lake is a steep fall and not like a lake as one would expect gradual decrease in ground level. Also the way to boating point is risky and could lead to a fatal mishap anytime and it's all due to the geographical location, nothing much can be done about it so just be aware and cautious at all times when you go for boating. Rest everything is safe. Prices are a bit high, food quality is good for most items on menu and average for few. Overall you will have a good time here.

Excellent place to bring family and young kids for a short stay. You can enjoy scenic beauty of Govind Sagar along with boating, swimming pool, and photography. They also have in-house Bar with a very cooperative staff. Rooms can be improved further.

Rooms were filthy. Smelt too bad to stay overnight. I had to move ahead just after watching the room.enjoy the picnic spot but not worth staying overnight

They have a pool which is dirty they charge 200 per hour and they don't even propvide towels. You can see naked kids in pool. There staff members smoke around pool but if u want to have a drink or something to eat with ur family they don't allow. Rules on weedays and weekends are different. U can see leaches on floor jarda in changing room and even sanitary pads and staff don't bother.
Food is fine but u need to wait for atleast 50 min on weekends as they are short staffed.
U will encounter lizards and mosquitoes in room i stated in room no 305,306,307 and 308 on 26-06-2022 and as per them these are there best room and they charge 2500 for these rooms
U can do boating in backyard but only if u r ready to track for 1 km downhill and that too without any rasta its slope and there is every chance that u can slip, fell and break something.
They have a bar which is ok. But again rules are different on weekdays and weekends. If u want a sheet in room they say they will provide it at night.

Which was neither morning nor right. A bag filled with cash was misplaced, they found it and prashar ji personally handed it over. Food is delicious, customized as you like. Location is superb for any kind of shoot. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Its a best place to visit if you are a looking for a natural river side location in a hill station. Best thing is the decent atmosphere and a lovely sun rise in front of your window.

Very good place moreover view of lake is very much fantastic, Rehan or Sehan, Khana or toh or Penney ballon ka mukmal intzam. Sirf low level of water in the Bhakhra lake is very much chintah ka visheya hai aissa low level aj tak nahi dekha ji.

Ultimate place. Best place for picnic with family and friends. Lake view is the best. It has a swimming pool too which give this place one more star. I think many punjabi and others songs also shooted here. While we were there a shooting was going on. Also people were doing a pre wedding photo shoot. We enjoyed lot. Restaurant food was also tasty. Very pleasant weather. I would recommend to everyone. Mostly best place for nature and peace lover. Also there is a temple near it, is also a beautiful place to visit for.

Honestly speaking most of the tourist came here for photography as it's a destination for pre wedding photography and the hotel owner are goons they used charge approx 2000 bucks for 1 hours and only one cook are working here so you have to wait for your order, food items are available on double price because these goons takes an advantage of remote area. Personally advice not to travel alone on this road at night as the population around there almost few.

The resort is little far from, Jalandhar, 4 hours drive, but the boating in Bhakhra Lake is just a out of world experience, just go there, its a real fun experience.
