Hotel Shailraj

Stopped at Hotel Shailraj for a quick snack, the restaurant was clean and the service was really good. The food was really tasty and was served quickly.

I booked this hotel online from make my trip as some reviews are good. The room I booked online was deluxe room but when I reached the hotel manager shown the room and said this was booked by me online. The condition of room was disastrous. Then manager asked me to see other rooms with extra 400 Rs charges.poorest service I have ever seen. No hot water available. Served cold hard rotis with food. Manager is drunked. Loud music was running from 5.00 am in the morning. Overall it is not a family hotel for the stay.

Good environment
Good staff behaviour and cooperative nature.
Lunch is delicious.
Cost of lunch is also cheaper than other Roadside Restaurant.
One star is cutting for unhygienic washroom. Maintain the washroom.

From outside it looked like a decent place. But sitting area and toilets inside were bad. Food was okayish.

Hotel is infront of DTDC courier service (Nagwain) and in road side. Parking facility is available.
Dining facility looks decent and food is also good.
Chairs are very comfortable and staffs are very supportive.
Good for families.

Hotel is good however the rooms stings alot should just take care of cleanliness rest food is good

Very good place for a breakfast stop-over on the way from Manali. Be specific about how you want your tea though!

Very horrific food, stale, not at all fresh. We are scared of getting food poisoning eating their food. Regret visiting this place.

We were six and coming back from Solang valley. It was afternoon time when we decided to eat something at Hotel Shailraj. The hotel is situated on NH-21 near to Bhunter. We have ordered mix veg, Daal tadka, salad, aalu jeera, curd and butter roti. We were so disappointed due to mix veg because it was not fresh, the sabji was smelling so dirty, we returned back the mix veg.
I think the daal was also from yesterday. They took 40 minutes to prepared the yesterday's food. And the service was so bad, we were 6 and waiter has served only 4 bowls to us. I don't know why they were not paying attention to us although we were only clients there in restaurant that time. If you are hungry don't go there, they can serve you unhealthy food.
I hope hotel staff will understand the basic requirements of customer and will serve the fresh foo to customers.
The best part of this hotel is the view from inside. You can have some mesmerizing landscape from here.

Its gud and resonable place. Manager is very helpful and humble person. Outdoor garden is amazing

Good place. We were there for breakfast which was good. Also the place was clean and the food was also tasty. The place is not like a faltu dabba but a good hotel.
Only drawback is the wash room is not clean and just made for name sake.
We enjoyed the experience and ambience there the place was with good food.

Value for money. If you are noise sensitive take back side room. Because front side rooms are adjoining national highway hence there may be traffic noise. Back side rooms offer view of farms and mountain also. Cleanliness is good.hotel manager is co-operative.staff behaviour is good. Taste of food is good. Service is also good. Good for a night stay to break the long journey to Manali.

Dropped down to have lunch.
Neat environment. Just by the side of the road. Not many guests when we reached there. So it was calm and quite. Food is average. Not so tasty nor too bad.
Clean toilets. Has attached rooms (oyo rooms) to it. Staff helpful.

Hotel Shailraj is a nice hotel located in Nagwain. The food quality is not good and the prices are higher.

I'm a regular visitor of manali and always stay here since last 3 year. Hotel Shailraj is situated at very nice place and always best choice of my family to stay. Unfortunately this year I felt that Attitude of staff appointed here including managers is not good. This year I have visited this hotel on 3rd June I found lots of problems here like cleanliness, food quality n specifically the attitude of staff. I advise the owners for the betterment kindly take care of all the points I have raised so that nobody feel discomfort here.
