These people number one cheater.useless, helpless my amount deducted twice at the time of check out and they refused to refund. Any how I'll file complaint.

Good rooms and food is really good. Great view and helpful staff. Very close to mall road nd hanumanji.

If you are looking to stay at the Mall road without paying a premium and do not want to carry your luggage (vehicles not allowed on mall road) then this is the best hotel. You can take your vehicle till High Court parking which is not even 100 meters from this hotel. Though, somethings could be improved for example they can give hair dryer and toilet roll in the bathroom without asking for it.

I stayed with family from 24th Oct to 26th, 2022 Morning. Rate was Rs 6500 including breakfast for 4 person. Staff and hotel room is very nice. Near to Mall Road. Enjoy evening at Mall road. Food quality is also good.
One suggestion for tourist is that plz dont hire taxi from Rajeev Bamsal at any cost. He will charge higer fare then others. Especially dont hire for Shimla to Manali. Better to take other tour vehicle.which is very cheap. I paid 15000 for two days from Shimla to Manali and Solan Atal gunne. But he demanded extra 3200 for Rohtang Bypass. So I hores a vehicle for same at 2500 for full days and Rajeev vehicle parked idel at Hotel.plz dont take vehicle otherwise you also feel same like me. Lost extra 7000 due to this.

Good place with average budget and good service. It is in Mall road so very easy to walk around and enjoy night life of shimla. Food service is good and people are very polite with service.

Nice hotel with great view and all amenities available. Only drawback was, to get luggage to the hotel, we had to get through a lot of stairs but hotel staff assisted in that too. Overall a decent and value for money hotel.

Nice n cozy rooms, amazing valley view. Situated on mall road. Upto 4th floor by lift. Then 2 floors by stairs. All staff answers queries proactively with a smile. Buffet was for 600 for breakfast. Main eating joints are 500 meters away on mall road. To reach hotel go to high court parking. Walk up the stairs. Parking not available for pvt cars. For pvt cars municipal parking in the area below high Court parking.

Hotel Service was pathetic. For a bottle of water l have called thrice then also they didn't provide water even though hotel is charging for the same.

Best hotel for those who want to stay on mall road in Shimla within a reasonable price range. Not for those who wish to have personal balcony-valley-view rooms in Shimla. Food was really good as well as the staff.

It’s a decent hotel and the stay was satisfactory. Staff was helpful and efficient. Though rooms are compact and need renovation.

Good view, good food, nicely located, worth the money I paid. Staff is too helpful. Top floor is the best but the hotel needs repairs, wifi needs to be faster. Views are good and it's on mall road so rated it 4, else I'd have given 3

Please note that i did not visit this hotel but sharing this review based on my booking conversation on phone.
I booked a room for 2 days over phone by giving 1000 bucks as token money. But suddenly in the end my fellow traveller got sick. Now, i understand that the booking token is non refundable and even if i had booked through online sites some amount is alway non refundable.
But the way in which the hotel management talked to me was very rude. I always addressed him as sir and expected him to understand my situation. I wanted to see if i could reschedule to another week but we did not even get to that, He just said no refunds and hung up the phone. I am not upset about the token money but at least businesses should talk to customers in a respectable tone.

Good Hotel, Bang on Mall road, rooms are bit small but sufficient for couple considering the economics and location (My room had view of the mall road). Service is really good, even food was delicious.

Hotel Shingar is one of the best hotels in Shimla, the location being perfect also the rooms are great & has all the necessary amenities available, coming to the hotel food it was good as well.
The only thing that I disliked about the hotel is that I was denied cutlery when I ordered food from outside, reducing a star for the same. Apart from this, my stay was pretty smooth & I've enjoyed every bit of my tenure at this hotel.

Worst hotel and never do online booking in this hotel. Hotel management is doing fraudulent things n you will not get room if you think you are good after booking it online for this third grade hotel. They are stealing things from rooms too

Had a bad and disappointing experience here. The washroom was not fully dried and splashes of water were scattered all over the washroom. There were no towels and toilet rolls provided and we requested the hotel many times to provide for the same, however, they were never provided. It seems they deliberately and intentionally chose to not provide us the same.

Our room was also wall facing and very depressing and on top of that the hotel decided not to honour our basic request. It seemed like they decided deliberately not to service us and give us a bad experience.

Super bad behaviour by hotel staff, they would ask for advance and give you untidy and cramped room.

Wastage of money. I preferred to everyone choose something else. Whole hotel is on renovation. Please pay after checking the rooms.

Convenient location, very close to Shimla mall.
Rooms are comparatively okay. They charge additional for heater, that was funny.

Absolutely good place to stay if you are visiting Shimla. On the mall road and walkable distance to local sight seeing places within and near The Mall. Great cleanliness, good staff, nice food with inhouse restaurant and a bar. Nice for touring families and kids. Good valley views. Perfect amenities provided.

Food was good. Room was not that good which was given to us. It had damped walls, and heater was chargeable. Overall it was a good experience as it was in mall road

Hotel is located on mall road and good locality. Cab cannot drop at hotel door and will have to climb stairs or walk inclined road to reach hotel. Breakfast menu good but limited. Salad sprouts and fruits are not part of breakfast menu. Food taste is good. Generally busy hotel.

This Hotel Comprises Of 30 Medium-sized Rooms On 6 Different Floors With Lift Facilities. Though The Hotel Is Just 2 Rated, What I Like About This Hotel Is It's Approach To The Mall Road & Neat & Clean Cousy Rooms With Washrooms.
The Hotel Management Is Taking Almost All The Security Measures Of Covid By Following The Guidelines & Keeping High Hygiene Standards.

Major advantage of this hotel is its location which is right bang on the mall road. This is our third visit to the hotel. Suite room is also another reason why we are choosing this hotel which quite reasonably priced as compared similar hotels. Overall cleanliness. Staff behavior & services are excellent. Food is good although options are limited but many restaurants are in the vicinity so not much of a worry for us. Overall highly recommended. We are coming again for sure.

Roof offers one of the best views across Shimla. 5 minutes walk from Mall road lift

Place is affordable and the experience of staying is nice. Rooms are clean.
Food quality is good although the menu options are limited.

The reception staff if so rude. Booked room at Rs. 2,200 and when reached hotel, the reception demanded Rs. 3,000 for the same room. When showed booking done at Rs. 2,200, the reception person denied to give room stating that he has cancelled my booking. When asked for reason, he said that I did not answer the calls, although no calls were made to me. At last he said " Lena hai room lo nhi to kahi or dekho". This hotel staff has no value of words and is unprofessional and pathetic. Not recommended at all. Good rooms doesn't mean that you can manipulate bookings and demand high money even when you don't provide bills for maximum bookings.

Service was fine, food was very good. Its more economical to buy the breakfast dinner combo along with the room than eat outside. The package includes buffet food. Also with 2 big meals (breakfast and dinner) you mostly don't need a 3rd meal (lunch) as the first meal takes you till dinner lol. I stayed in room 604 which had a decent view minus the next building water tank eyesore.
The food served is almost different each day - breakfast and dinner. Indian food gets bit heavy on the stomach though if you plan on staying for over 2-3 days. Hotel is located at the start of the mall shops and adjacent to Clarkes Hotel. Very strategically placed if you want to go Right to the mall area or Left towards other parts of Shimla like BCS - its somewhat in the center of Shimla. There's no road entry till the hotel - you need to get dropped off below hotel and walk a 100m slope till the hotel, its a bit of a walk if there are older people or lots of luggage.

Amazing room, amazing service and the best part is location of this hotel, it is very first hotel on the Mall road, nearest to the parking area, easily accessible with reasonable rates. Reaced Shimla at 5: 30 am in morning and got the room quickly. Highly recommended.

If you need a good family hotel right at the heart of shimla then it is shingar hotel which is situated at mall road near high court. They have their own restaurant and also there are nearby places to eat. I would highly recommend shingar.

This hotel is pretty good and has almost everything a decent hotel requires. The rooms were okay and so were the washroom. What I didn't like was the room service which took an year to deliver anything ordered. Rest the hotel was okay. And yeah it has the table tennis facility. Sorry, forgot to click pictures of the room.

Not very elegant, but since it is just next to Shimla High Court. Generally litigants, lawyers stay in there room. Rent is expenxive as compare to aminities. 4500 double occupancy. Single 3200 without breakfast

Location is in Shimla Mall road, that's the most attractive thing of this hotel. If you come by car, you need to get down near hight court parking and climb up either by stairs or road of 10 mins walk. No hotel parking. Hotel doesn't provide any stuff to carry your luggage, hence either you have to carry or need to take porter. Stuffs, specially restaurant stuffs are very humble and professional. Rooms are bit less size, I stayed in super deluxe room but still room size surprised me, expected better but most of the rooms are like this only. Apart from that all other things are good

Because is there wheel chair not accessible and have high cost as compared to other.there is stairs which is difficult for handicap people
