Very pathetic hotel it was my biggest mistake of life to visit here. They tell you what to eat how much to eat as you are staying free here, their staff member Ajay Rana spoilt our stay and the facilities they show in photos are totally fake they provide nothing there is one cafe which is non functional and the staff says its only for show and then comes the pool totally illmaintained Swimming pool you never know which tile of the pool is going to come out corners were very sharp and slippery and the entrance rod of the pool was so weak even a 5 year old child can rip it off

I just stop by for a lunch. The food was good but not great hence deducted one star, service staff was attententive wearing smart ams clean uniform. The pool side area was amazing adddjacent to it di ing tables are there. You can enjoy food while looking into the mountains and greenery near by. Cool fresh air from surroundings makes it more surreal and soothing.

Nice and cozy place to stay. Excellent sceining beauty. Large spacious rooms. Having swimming pool and bar. Famous Chamunda Devi Temple, a Hindu religious place is nearby to pay homage. Dharamsala is just 25 km and Palampur is 28 km from this place. Overall good hotel.

Rooms were small and dirty toilet was not maintained no towel no shampoo no soap nothing feels more like a dharamshala and mr ajay of the staff was very annoying asking for tip everyday again and again like beggers

Last week i stayed in this hotel but it was totally a below average experience. First of all the main attraction of the hotel (swimming pool) it's climbing grill was weak and the floor across the pool was very slippery so technically that pool though clean is quite useless for people above that and strictly no for people above 40 (if non-swimmers) because there was no guard around. Food was strictly below average and rooms were out dated like dharamshalas in 80s era and you can have one more wonderful experience of bathing with big spiders in the bathroom so strictly keep your eyes wide open while bathing.

And now about staff.
There was one Mr. Ajay Rana who not only demanded tip for the whole serving staff but also expected me to finance his kidney stone operation (unbelievable but truth)

The other attraction was cafe which was though well made but it was strictly non functional and the manager bluntly told me that it is just for ratings in mmt.

Moreover they didn't provided basic toiletery
Like shampoo and soap so guys please stay away from this hotel. In this budget you can stay in bagora heights hotel or hotel tea bud they are much better hotels with great surroundings in similar or maybe even Better surroundings.

The service at the Hotel Woodz was exceptional. The hotel staff was beyond exceptional. I am so appreciative that there exists a place that still values customer service throughout the hotel.

No lift. 1st hotel ever which denied room cleaning mentioning everyone is busy. No welcome kit and Kettle. No provision for room heating. Rented a room heater which was not upto the mark. Not a good experience.

Very nice place to stay and celebrations. Staff is very cordial and welcoming. Thanks Rakesh and Chaman for showing good hospitality to my guests. Will visit again soon:)

Good hotel. Staff was cooperative but blanket were not available while marriage rituals at night in winter season

Experience of hotel was great, services were good, staff was well behaved & professional, food quality was good, rooms were good.

This place is disgusting not suggesting anyone to go there. The service, management over there is like a roadside dhaba, people over there was after your money they are going to charge you for f****** everything.
Staff is really rude with the customers (had a bad experience with my family) and they don't know about customer service at all, Good/Excellent customer service is not their kinda thing.
And about swimming pool they are charging RS 200 for 1 HOUR (which include RS 150 for pool and 50 for the f****** costume and if you want a towel for God sake you have to pay another RS 30 for that dirty pool which they hardly clean I believe.
Really bad experience with HOTEL WOODZ and not a good place for family /friends or couples.

Never book this hotel through OYO. Hotel didn’t allow the booking through OYO. Hotel hv financial dispute with oyo as told by hotel manager.

Never book this hotel through OYO. Customer are not allowed to check in through OYO. Hotel is having a financial feud with OYO. We feel harrased when we visted. Oyo standards are degrading. Very bad experience.

Don't forget to eat chicken malai tikka or Chinese food here. Staff and service is okay. From room balcony you can see God's creation. Just buy room with balcony to sit and relax maximum you can.

Worst place ever offers bad service, its staff makes its arbitrariness, especially when I came to the hotel for swimming with my family and when the condition of the swimming pool was unhygenic, the water was gathered in one place Nor was there any exhaustion of water nor was it being filled with fresh water which was absolutely dirty due to which we have itchy for 2 days just here you will we extra charged for everything which is not good

Nice location in serene woods surrounded by green mountains. Food is nice and preparation is mild not loud. Functional bar and swimming pool also on offer.

Food and the asthetic of the place is very good only the prices for the drinks are on the higher side.

It's good for a solitude stay, not very Great or luxurious, but good for a night stay ii not Kangra.

Amazing restaurant and bar. They have good collection of liquor and food is served with a smile here. The staff is very polite and helpful. They have swimming pool as well. Property is located right on the road from Dadh-Palampur road. Huge parking facility, no need to worry about anything when coming to The Woodz. Highly recommended.

Loved the experience truely. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely view from the bedrooms with attached personal balcony where u can enjoy serene beauty of nature. They have all kind of services in their arena, Execellent view from rooms, yummy food, swimming pool, bar, huge area for kids to play. Its more than hotel. Everything was just excellent about this place. I would highly recommed this hotel. If anyone looking for peaceful place to relax themselves from hectic lifestyle, One should must give it try.

The only reason we visit this hotel every year is just to enjoy the swimming pool with family and friends. The location of the property is somewhat remote but picturesque. It is relatively far from Dharmashala and McLeod Ganj.
This hotel's service and food quality has consistently gone downhill.
Even In the peak season they do not have adequate staff. The rooms are not worth what you pay for (the only good thing about them is free access to pool which is probably the best in Kangra area).
I was asked to pay ₹30 to use the towels at the pool which was rude and pointless since I was a residing guest at the hotel.
The owner needs to work on lousy behaviour of staff, they are not ill-mannered but they work too damn slow.
The restaurant and room service is worse than you think. Food is okay but waiting times are pathetic.
