Experience of staying at the udeeche hotel was awesome. The beautiful gardens and the stunning view of snow-clad mountains created a picturesque backdrop. The cozy rooms, excellent service, and serene atmosphere made it a memorable escape. Especially thanks to Ajay and Rinku for making our stay pleasurable in every possible way.

We stayed for 4 nights in the last week of December and I must say we were completely comfortable in spite of the harsh cold weather outside. It is located bang in front of the Naddi viewpoint. We took a mountain view room and watched snow capped mountains under the moonlight (it was full moon) from the bed. Apart from the infrastructure and setup, the behaviour of the staff needs special mention. They are a fabulous bunch of people taking care of the guests with utmost attention and sincerity. Food was awesome. Everything was well organised. Feather of the cap was live music with bonfire on Christmas.

We spent our New Year in this lovely property. Everything was perfect. Special thanks to Ashwini and Sagar who were assigned to serve our block of rooms. The service was exceptional, I have became a star in my group for booking this property.

Breakfast option was nice too.

Another highlight is Views, location and peaceful environment.
Star gazing could also be arranged if needed.

Bonfire can also be arranged with prior intimation.

Fabulous location service and quality of food is average. Rigid staff didn’t allow for extended check out. Breakfast spread is limited, average taste and underwhelming. Hugely overpriced.

We went to this resort this year summer and the view from this resort is amazing! You can see the whole dhauladhar range with snow capped mountains in the morning from your balcony. I would suggest this resort has the best location in whole Mcleodgunj. The property is very clean and full of greenery with lots of beautiful flowers. The food is very tasty and is filled with rich mountain flavours. And most worth mentioning is the hospitality by the staff, who are very cordial and caring. Thank you, Ashwini ji, Rinku ji, Ajay ji and others for your service.

Rooms are a bit smaller in comparison to same price categories but views from this hotel more than compensates to it, snow capped mountains are a treat! Service is top notch, you are almost greeted by their staff with a wide grinned smile.
Lovely and cozy place to be at

One of the truly relaxing and enjoyable stays we had during our recent trip to Himachal Pradesh. Our stay at Udechee Huts was an absolute highlight of our trip. I recommend staying there and simply enjoying the views of the Dauladhar mountain range from the hotel balcony. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful (especially Mr. Rinku). There was also a significant delight in the food, absolutely homely and infused with phadi flavors. Highly recommended for family travelers and even married couples.

We had a wonderful 2 days stay at Udechee Huts with our friends. Fabulous clear view of the Douladhara range with fresh snow on the peaks, from every room. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and saw to our comforts. Well trained staff, specially Rinku Jaryal who was attentive to our every need, polite and friendly. Food was very good, breakfast being a wide spread. Overall we would rate this very high in all our travel stays.

Rooms are attractive. Made like a hut structure.room service is quick.location and view is Best. Recommended if you travelling to dharmshala.
This is relaxing place. If you planning to stay here, keep one extra day to just relax into this property. Advance booking from their own site is always best option instead of booking through other sites.

I went in the last week of July with my old folks.despite the rains we got lovely service from Ashwini and Sagar.and Vipin, the manager was also accomodating.

The view from this hotel is the best.and food is good too.so overall a 5 star.

Visited this place long back and we loved it. We wanted to stay at this place again, and there's nothing wrong with the place and the huts, it's just too overpriced to be honest.
We went to enquire about the accommodation details and we were taken aback by the lack of courtesy of the staff. They would let my family see the room, only two people were allowed because apparently we would dirty the room.
I get it, you don't want to mess up your property showing the place in and out to visitors but at least have the decency to let the potential customers have a look and understand what they're getting.

The huts are well furnished but it's nothing extraordinary, they're small and the bathrooms are ageing (clean and well maintained) but not at all worth the price.

You're in the hospitality business not the hostility business.

We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. Went there in December 2021. Rooms are well maintained. Amenities are of good quality. Bathroom was a bit small but 24*7 hot water was available. Bed was provided with heater pad with temperature control. Service was good. Food was good. The view from the property is damn good. It is highly recommended for couples and families.

If you are visiting Dharamshala and Mcleodgang then Naddi, McLeodgang is best place to stay and Udeechee huts should be top choice. It is located on hill top with amazing view of Dhauladar mountain ranges. You will love it more if you like peace and tranquility. Food here is superb. Rooms are big and hygienic. Staff is highly courteous and helpful. Overall 5/5 to the hotel

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Udechee - the location and the view was beautiful, even in the monsoons. The rooms and facilities are extremely comfortable - and a special shout out to their kitchen and bakery. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.

We stayed in Udechee Huts for 3 days. Location is perfect and rooms have great view of Dhauladhar mountain range. The way they have maintained the property is admirable. Service is top notch. Most importantly, we were travelling with our 3 year old kid. Hospitality of the hotel staff is unmatched. Special mention to Rinku and Ajay for amazing service. Food was delicious and they prepare all the dishes fresh on the order and hence you need to be ready with your order 40-50 minutes early. I would highly recommend this place for the stay in McLeod Ganj (Naddi).

10/10 experience. Spectacular view of Dhauladhar Mountains. Excellent staff and hospitality. I had 6 night stay here in super deluxe room for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 children of 10 n 6 years). Food served tasted homely and healthy. Our room attendant Mr. Rinku was very humble and cooperative to understand every need and attended them very well. The hotel also provide separate contact for local taxi and site seeing facilities including pick up and drop from your nearby railway station or airport. Overall it was very satisfying experience and felt all spent worth.

Perfect family vacation. We stayed here for 5 night along with 3 kids, didn't face any issue whatsoever. Staff is courteous, friendly and attentive.location - Great location, amazing view of Naddi mountain from hotel. Lots of places to hangout just outside of hotel.staff - One of the best staff I have ever seen in my life, so helpful and friendly.rooms - We booked 3 rooms, 2 large and 1 small. Both rooms were great, smaller one doesn't have balcony but view is still great from window.restaurant - food is really great but little bit on the expensive side. We have tried other restaurants around but couldn't find better food anywhere else.

In terms of improvement, i didn't like the complementary breakfast specially thhe nonveg items. Hope things would be better at next stay.overall very memorable stay.

They have rooms view annexing view which refresh you. Service provided each and every member of hotel is amazing. They take care of you just like nothing. They are so polite and humble.

Right from the location, to its rustic beauty, to being true to its website info, udechee huts was the best experience we had, in our week long himachal trip. The staff was courteous, forthcoming, extremely polite and well-mannered. The food was excellent and the hut amenities were foolproof. A great stay for any kind of a traveller

Super views. Rooms clean and well appointed. Very good service, personalised. Perfect for a boutique hotel.

Location: good, ambience was serene and peaceful. We were able to see the moonrise from terrace. View of the snow clad mountains in the morning sun was mesmerising.there were many trekking routes starting from naddi (village where udechee huts are located). One can go for walks in the morning and evening.
Food of the hotel was good, freshly prepared, wasn’t much spicy as our children liked it also, especially the breakfast. Breakfast buffet was not having much variety but things served were all prepared in a nice and tasty manner.
Staff was very helpful esp.mr ashwani and mr parshottam. Hospitality was commendable.
There was children play area, where elders can laze around in the sun on well maintained lawns.bonfire area is there for winter months…Study and play room where there were books and indoor games… there was a nice open terrace for sitting and enjoying the cup of coffee while you watch beautiful snow clad dauladhar range mountains.
One tip: if you don’t find the iron and mini fridge, please ask for it, they can arrange for you, as well as the other minor things like toiletries, dental and shaving kits.

View is excellent, good staff service and good food. Red flower made juice in the breakfast is awesome. Mr Rinku from hotel staff is very polite, ensures excellent staff service. Manger and staff is very good at customer service. Location is near Naddi point provides excellent view of snow mountains

Only 2 suggestion.plz have a king size mattress for couples. 2nd plz keep veg n non veg breakfast differently.bcz its difficult for veg customers to have a combined breakfast.rest each n every thing fooding, lodging n other amenities were too good.

We were at udechee huts for 3 nights and our stay was superb. The rooms are very spacious and fully facilited. Gyser is good. Hot and cold AC concept was very good as it helped us during cold nights. The view from the room was awesome. The mountain lightly snow cladded gave amazing view and very calm feeling. The location is superb. The staff especially Ashwinji and Purshottamji were very helpful and attentive. Service was very good. Food was very tasty. Overall we liked and enjoyed our stay.

Visited the place in March 2022.
Great location and amazing views from all the rooms. It is a boutique hotel, so it has limited capacity. Making it less crowded and peaceful stay. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Ashwiniji and Purshottam were always on toes and made us feel at home. The food here is also great (keep in mind, continental food is better than regular Indian food). One of the best view of mountains and valley and also river. All the rooms have the same view just from different levels and distances. Accessibility might be a problem for some people. Sunset point at Naddi is right across the street. Few walks here and there around the campus. Sit at the common terrace and sip your coffee while the nature opens up in front of you.

First and foremost, you cannot rate this property, it's well beyond that.
It's beautiful
It's very comfortable
It's absolutely amazingly scenic
But when it comes to hospitality, it just soars above all the establishments that you know of.
Big shout out to yaduraj ji and his whole team for taking care of us so so well.
We were a group of three couples with small kids and we had no issues whatsoever.
Ashwini ji, you were amazing, and so were the other staff members.
Also a big thanks to akshay (udechee's travel partner) for arranging our cabs and being generous and genuine with the charges.
Tip for everyone: keep one full day for the property itself. Trust me you won't regret anything.

A great place to be away from the city hustle and bustle. The staff was really down to Earth with perfect hospitality, especially Rinku, who made sure that we remain comfortable in our rooms.

Loved the food, be it breakfast or dinner.

It is a wonderful place to stay! Far from the madding crowd and the Dhauladhar range is really up close! It's the closest that you get to see it from Himachal.without taking a trek. The resort has individual huts starting from a price of around 4400 (we visited in October 2021). It is more beautiful than it looks in the pictures! Our stay was really comfortable! Special thanks to Mr Rinku for taking such good care of us and Mr Ajay for looking into our comfort and convenience. I worked from there for straight 5 days and the airtel internet gives great speed there. If you are staying for more than a couple of days, you can explore the food in the adjoining places as that would be cheaper. There is a wine shop very nearby that has some delectable Himalayan wines at very reasonable prices. The wines are exported to Australia and they are too good. If you love wines it's a must try, especially the plum wine.

My stay at udechee huts was awesome. The picturesque view of Dhauladhar mountain is breathtaking and icing on the cake is wonderful snowfall happened during our stay. The room service is excellent especially Sh Rinku ji who is available on one call only. Food is also very delicious and staff is very courteous. Everything is perfect. Only one thing I want to mention that kindly provide baby chairs so that it will be convenient for parents like us to feed kids. We will look upto to visit udechee huts again.

Great Property with even better hospitality, We stayed in McLeod Ganj for 1 night and found it to be very crowded for our liking, then shifted to this place. Highly recommended stay. Location, food and views are amazing.

I had a very pleasant time here at Udechee. The food was amazing. Tasty and clean. Staff was very hospitable and respectful. Plus the view is breathtaking! The rooms are also nice. It’s nestled up in the hills, you should come here if you want to move away from the hustle bustle of city life for some time. Only thing is the hotel is really high up, so you need to be a good driver.

Udechee Huts is a wonderful place to stay in McLeodganj. The place is beautiful & service rendered is excellent. The owner has maintained the property well & the cottages are comfortable & the scenic beauty is at it’s best. The staff was hospitable especially Vipinji, Atul ji & Rinkuji. I fully recommend this place. It is peaceful & sanitisation of the area is well taken care of.

My stay was awesome. The staff, property, food, ambience, cleanliness everything was top notch. Staff is so polite and welcoming. Rinku and ajay was the one who gave us the services and they did their work perfectly and always available for everything. The rooms are so clean and gives you a homely touch along with the delicious food. We ate almost all the meals there. Highly recommend and do visit here.

My 7 day trip to Hotel Udechee Huts was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly, and let us in our some of the good local spots. The food, and other services were great as well. I highly recommend them.

A small advice if the fencing in children play area can be replaced with some hedges or some similar decor.

Nestled away from city life, Udechee is a peaceful property to live in where people were very welcoming and services were exceptional. Would highly recommend this place for breathtaking views of the mountains and beautiful treks to nearby villages/rivers.

Hotel is located near Nandi Hills, 5 kms far from McLeodganj. It's a best place to stay if you are from crowded city.
You can see Dhauladhar mountains from window of your room. They also have open restaurant where you can have your tea coffee and enjoy the beauty of Majestic Snowcapped mountains.
Food is average but service and location is too good. One of the best hotel I have ever stayed.

We stayed at this beautiful resort recently. It was wonderful and the view is amazing. We booked the standard rooms and they are clean and comfortable. Hotel staffs are polite and very cordial. The service was promt and good. Food was very good. I did not find anything to complain about it.location and view are the USP of this resort. Well mannered staff.overall it's a good place to stay for a night.however they don't have double beds (king size) quilts.

Situated in Naddi, thus accomodation is about 15 minutes drive from McLeod. The route involves good hill driving, but roads are decent. It's near the end of the road to Naddi on the right side. They have individual huts with a variety of rooms available. The view from the location is breathtaking. Rooms were tidy, with all modern amenities. Room service is quick, and they treat their guests well. Food at the restaurant is okay, don't expect too much but with a place like McLeod, you can always eat something nearby than in the hotel! They have car parking too. You can sit outside and have a star gazing experience in the night. Decent sized balconies. Must visit hotel out of the city rush!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my ride to McLeodgunj! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager, and our bags wer picked from parking lot. As we ridden bikes from mumbai we were expecting help for the same. The staff was extremely friendly, and deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience.  

Commutation is made easy by the hotel staff by arrenging vehical.
Staff is highly motivated (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the three of us through the market. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.  

Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like star to me. All respect for the manager and staff who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Location was good but food ws nt atall gud i find plastic in my sandwich n stale smelly chicken biryani, cnt post a pictures by mistake it got deleted, we stayed in room no 13 which ws nt dat great staff ws really good but the main problem is overrated reviews and if find it over priced bcos of less amenities and bad food quality and also we hv to wait fr 5 hrs to get our room

They provide very nice services, rooms were very clean, food was delicious, I just felt as home away from home. The view from my room was amazing. Did not want anything more!

Beautiful location, sitting on the balcony of the hut and watching sunrise was amazing and surrounded by greenery and mountain.friendly staff, nice environment and they went on helping with special request for late night dinner even at 12 AM at the mid night as they go late to the drive to this location. It was marvellous n waiting to come there soon. Unfortunately we spend very less time but was awesome. Lovely food wid A1 hospitality surrounded by beauty of nature.

Its wonderful experience.nice location.food is good. Only thing that's missing is a Cup of tea early in morning because the kitchen starts at 7.30 am. The morning view at 6.00 am is simply awesome and a good tea is what is required to make the moment memorable. I hope next time i will get it. 1 star will be added then.

From check in to check out, the staff is fantastic. Reception and all service staff were very helpful and cordial. We were two families and stayed in huts. Rooms r vry clean n service is very fast. Wonderful experience. If you wish to wake up to the mountain view this is the place for you. Their room, atmosphere is a lifetime experience.dey only need to improve d quality and quantity of food dat is not satisfactory. Other than this one of the best hotel in mclodganj.

I stayed in this property for 2 nights 3 days. The best view one can get. The only issue due to which I have rated it as 4 star is the food quality. They really need change in chef or proper training for the chef.

One tip for free: Dont take your car there.hire a car from dharamshala or somewhere who knows how to drive in valley. Also Switch your AC OFF. Dont experiment!

We stayed in some nearby place and just went to see the place. Very good and clean place. But the USP is of course the location. Recommended.
