Hotel Woodrina

Has been a wonderful experience staying in this hotel amid the exotic view of Shimla. The staff is very humble and maintain a high degree of respect for the customers. Food and services are at their best value for money. Would like to quote some names of the staff here that I remember whom I would like to appreciate: Dalai Tejesh Kumar, Sahil, Suresh, Dixit Rahi, Prieam, Pankaj Thakur and others. Thanks to all of you for the way you take care of customers.

All the facilities was excellent. Dixit Rahi and Tipender was a good attender and excellent hospitality.
Pritam is a such a humble man.

Woodrina is a very good property.
Hotel is surrounded by the deodar tree Which makes me feel very good.food is very tasty. Valley view room has nice view. Gm was very friendly and helpful. Overall experience is very good

It is neat & clean with promt and nice staff. Location is awsome. 30 mins.drive from mall road Shimla. Surrounded with lesh green beauty. Food quality is also good.

The Morning Manager was not good. He is trying to impose that he is right and the entire region follows the same rule. We asked for the complementary breakfast as part of our itinerary, but what he gave us was pathetic. Except him, all went well as planned.

Stayed here for 4 nights view is very beautiful and very peaceful place to live and enjoy greenery. Staff was way too nice suresh kumar and Pritam helped us alot with their great service last but not least food was delicious.

I would have given less stars because of bad check -in experience but F&B department compensated it with their hospitality.

The newly renovated rooms aren't spacious for more than 2Adults, that too when you have minimal luggages else it gonna be stuffed passages. On other side, Cottages have lovely view with cozy comfort. I would give this category a thumbs up.

Now here comes the best part, Mr. Bobby & Mr. Thakur (Forgive me I forgot his First name) made sure we feel as home. They went extra miles with their humbleness, joyous and warmth nature. Such young dynamic guys working and keeping sure each details can be taken care for guests from F&B department pov. Shout out to them! You made this Shimla trip memorable. Keep flying high!

We had lunch organised for the group here. Delicious food with prompt service. Very nice location.

Stayed here just for a night, i wish i had more time considering the location and their newly renovated rooms, everything is confortable.
Its on Kufri road, few kms drive from main shimla, perfect location to spend your holidays. You can enjoy Morning and everning leisure walk around.

Worst hotel ever in shimla. Low and cheap quality of food was served which caused food poisoning. Room stay was uncomfortable, no hot water, surrounded by monkeys.recommend do not waste your money on this hotel at all.

Recommend do not visit this cottage. We have booked for 2 days but after having dinner once, we had food poisoning. Were surrounded by monkeys. We visited in month of May and it was hot but there was no fan in room which caused sweating and uneasiness. Bad experience and waste of money

Superb experience! Very well mannered Staff, nice location with Valley view cottages. Complimentary breakfast has multiple healthy items; fulfills food requirements of all age groups. I had kids, middle aged and senior citizens from my family and all enjoyed it a lot! Buffet Dinner is available with affordable price, which serves multiple options in Veg & Non-veg.

The rooms are very small, service is very poor, absolutely not worth the price u pay for the room

Nice rooms and service too. Food was also good. Location is bit remote and on small hill hence you can't go out anywhere walking. They don't accept cards and UPI.don't know why!

As the name denotes, it's in the middle of woods. We took the cottages, which are independent from the main hotel. It has a valley view from the window. Everything looked bit old, bathrooms particularly. Food was nothing to talk about. Overall an average stay.

The views were amazing.staff were really friendly and offered a very good service. We ordered a cake to celebrate and they even managed to get the cake on time despite of hailstorm …Food was also really tasty and the kitchen staff also offered very good service

Looks little old but their service and maintenance are good. Beautiful view from the windows during morning and evening during summer. During summer also, nights are very cold around 10 to 12 degrees. In winter it may definitely beautiful through out the day as snow fall will be there. As per our driver and staff, during winter there will 2 to 3 ft snow most of the times at the hotel itself. Food is good but costly if you opt for buffet (especially peak seasons like May & June and during winter it is 450), better to order whatever required. Courteous and professional staff. Overall good & comfortable stay of 2 nights.

Not as good as is claimed by MMT and other reviews. Not courteous staff. Had to request again and again for basic requirements like room heater. Food is ok.

Main drawback is its distance from Main Shimla. The sight seeing places like Ridge, Scandal point, Gaiety Theatre are far away from Hotel Woodrina. And you must spare an extra (early morning) hour to get to Shimla if you have a flight in peak hours of traffic.

I have faced the below problems
1. No wifi facility
2. Water heater is not working properly
3. Room sizes are very small.

Good hospitality and tasty food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone whoever visits shimla. The receptionist named Pankaj Thakur has received received us well and has given good response.

Food was great. Pankaj at the reception and suresh in the restaurant were very polite and cordial.the 4/5 rating is only because there was no view from most of the rooms.

The staff members of the hotel are very nice. Specially Mr. Jeetendra, whi was the most supportive front office staff that i have ever met. He took all the necessary care which a customer expect from a hotel. Food was very nice ambience is great.

Stayed here for 2 days in Cottage room. Check in procedure was quick. Room was clean and view was splendid. Room had Kettle, Coffe and sugar packets. Pankaj was very helpful in Reception. All staff were courteous.

Buffet breakfast was decent. Dinner buffet was very good it was 300 per person.

Seperate charges for room heater, per day 300/- as temperature was 0 degree room heater wasn't of any use.

Location is between Shimla city and Kufri view point.

Overall it was good place to stay. Recommended.

My family of 3 children, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel woodrina from 31st October to 2nd November 2021. The location of the hotel was awesome with amazing views of the scenic beauty of Shimla. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the toilets were kept sparkling all thanks to the housekeeping staff named Jeetamdar Kumar. Jeetamdar Kumar is an asset to hotel woodrina, for his impeccable service and attitude to customer service. He would willingly comply to our requests be it an extra bedsheet or water bottle. Would also like to mention the f&b staff named suresh Kumar for his attention to detail to our food requirements, he would always inquire whether we ate food or not. The meals were tasty and sumptuous. Thanks also to the reception staff pankaj thakur for ensuring a smooth check in process. Thank you Hotel Woodrina and it's staff for ensuring a memorable stay in Shimla.

I think so Hotel is one of the best Hotel in Shimla.

As Hotel Service was good, EMPLOYEES were well disciplined.

Specially Mr. PANKAJ Thakur and Food Servant Mr. Suresh Bhaiya were good.

It was my first tour in Shimla with family. Hotel woodrina was the great place to stay with the family. The view from the room was beautiful. The interior was all wooden, and the area is a bit colder. The stay was very comfortable with great staff. They were professional and friendly at the same time. Especially Suresh kumar, Pankaj thakur, Jeetendra kumar in the hotel staff was very well behaved and professional and make our stay so easy and comfortable.

Great Location. Great interior. Food is also Good. Mr. Pankaj at the reception and Mr. Suresh in the restaurant were very polite and cordial. Sure to visit on next trip.

Hotel was very nice and situated at very peaceful place. House keeping services rom Pankaj and lunch & dinner services from Suresh was very good.

We stayed in a cottage, the rooms were clean and location is beautiful.
Hotel staff is very polite and helpful, mr.pankaj thakur helped us throughout the stay.

Dinner and Breakfast is good. Decent taste for veg and nonveg. Room service is nearly average.

They do charge room heater at extra cost (INR 300 per night) which is unfair. Room heater should be included with staying charges as there is no need of fan and AC.

They provide only 1litre of mineral water per day as complementary. If you need more, will have to pay INR 40 per litre. Else, you can fill your bottle with regular/tap water.

Laundry will charge you INR 80 per cloth but they'll adjust it depending upon what you're submitting. 1tshirt, 1undie, a pair of socks costed me INR100.

P. S. Drivers will neither get a room to sleep nor hot water for bathing.
